CHAPTER 55 - Too Weak

Rayn clenched her one hand holding back an anger that was actually unfounded to her. He felt that his arrival was in vain. In fact, his staring at the appearance he was wearing at the moment made him smile sarcastically. “What I did” he said inwardly after seeing Lucia with Kelvin.

“Rayn... “ call Lucia back by walking closer to Rayn.

“Looks like you're okay” Ryan said and turned around to leave Lucia to go to his car.

Seeing that Rayn was about to leave, Lucia sped up her pace and grabbed Rayn's hand. “Rayn wait” says Lusia holds Ryan.

Rayn turned around, she stared at how Lucia was clasping her hands. “Can we return to Villa now?” tanyanya looked at Lucia with a serious look.

“Ehh...?” asked Lucia then looked at the others. “But, I have to..” he continued in doubt.

Kelvin looked at both of them. He asks inwardly about the seemingly unusual relationship between Lucia and Rayn. Somehow he always felt pain every time he saw Lucia's caring attitude towards Rayn. He regretted his feelings that were too weak to always choose silence.

“What did Arka tell you that came here?” ask Lucia.

“It's not important to discuss how I got here. I asked, can we go back to Villa now?” ask Rayn again firmly.

“I can't go back now with you. You can come back first with Arka”, Lucia replied. “Arka you can give my car keys to me” continued he told Arka.

“Why?” rayn looked at Lucia and looked at Kelvin.

“That, Because...” has not yet until Lusia finishes her speech already cut by Rayn.

“I don't think I need to ask or need your answer. I decide, we go back to” Ryan said by changing the position of his hand, now he is the one who took Lucia.

Rayn ignored Kelvin's words and gaze. He looked at Lucia with a look on his face that said he wanted to hear Lucia's answer.

Lucia seemed indecisive, this was the first situation she had to deal with, being trapped by two men who were puzzling her. It was between Rayn holding one hand and Kelvin holding the other. He had expected a man to hold his hand. But this is not what he expected.

“Kelvin. said Lucia looked at Kelvin. Kelvin understands that Lucia asked him to let go of her hand. Kelvin slowly took off Lucia's hand.

“I'm sorry Rayn, you can come back first because I have to take them back" Lucia replied to Rayn.

“Why should you?” ask Rayn.

“Rayn, what's wrong with you?” lusia asked felt that there was something different about Ryan's attitude. He never showed his ego all this time.

“I don't think it's necessary. Without us, their relationship would become more complicated. We are just a figure that completes their destiny. Our role here is only limited to variables that fill their path to be honest and open their hearts so much, Dave replied by looking at Lucia, Kelvin and Rayn who left them.

“What are you talking about?” tanya Nara seemed to not understand Dave's long words.

“Only... say what I have in mind. I think being honest is more important, even though it's a painful honesty, so that everything can be in place correctly” Dave replied in a serious tone then looked at Nara.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” ask Nara to Dave. He smiled if this was the first time Dave looked at him with a direct look.

Dave sighed and said. “Like our current situation, I know you like me. But I'm sorry, if I can't feel anything because right now it's not my superiority love. Seeing what he did for me earlier for my future.” Dave said holding back his words by looking at Lucia.

“Then I cannot waste my future just to serve your love. I can only advise you, lash out or stay waiting for me. But..., I can't promise you anything until when or what I'll open my heart in the end" continued Dave.

Nara looked at Dave's face with a look of sadness. What Dave said really made him want to be angry. “Do you have to say it?” ask Nara.

Nara squeezes the phone in her hand, trying to hold back her anger. “You better keep quiet and let me do it as usual. I was wasting my own time anyway. And.. .”

“Because it makes me uncomfortable” replied Dave.

“What ?” ask Nara.

“As of today, I'm honestly angry that you were so presumptuous to contact her without asking me. I know you did it for me, but it's precisely because it makes me feel so uncomfortable. Stop wasting your time for me” replied Dave and left first to approach Lucia.

“Wah... I didn't think he could be that cruel” Nara said trying to hold back her tears.

Finally Dave and Nara were escorted back by Lucia accompanied by Kelvin who still decided to go with Lucia. While Rayn went back to the Villa with Arka.

In the car, Rayn just silently looked at the window. He closed his eyes.

“Mr sure, I don't need to go back to accompany him Sir? I see you are very worried about him” asked Arka. This was the first time he had seen Rayn worry about someone not even paying attention to what she was wearing.

Rayn opened her eyes. “You see for yourself, what can I do? He who does not want to come back with me, do you think it is still possible that he let me meddle” replied in a sad tone.

“Sorry if my report surprised you” Arka said apologizing.

“Let me down at Dervilia” Rayn's orders. He looked back at the street lights behind the car window.

“But it is very late at night Tuan” replied Arka.

Rayn did not reply, Arka knew that it meant that it had become a command that he had to keep running. Arka finally did a phone call. “Turn light Dervilia” Arka command to someone who is in a phone call with him.

They had reached the entrance to Dervilia. Mickey's parked car and Mickey standing leaning against his car seemed to be waiting for them.

“I heard you asked them to light up the lighting of Dervilia. It's so late, why are you here?” ask Mickey to Ryan.

“Why do you ask, I'm free to do it” Rayn answered past Mickey walking into the path.

Mickey restrains Rayn by standing in Ryan's way. “For your current condition, going there will only make your mood worse” said Mickey.

“Why do you think so? While I made it for me” replied Ryan.

“Rayn, about what your father said earlier, don't worry. I'll talk to him again” Mickey said.

“Haha.." said Ryan with a grinning smile. What am I worried about? You know, if it's all about him I don't care. I knew that sooner or later this would happen, he would definitely make my mother his weapon. You must also be fed up of seeing me run away and hide. All that is in Dervilia is just my escape” said Rayn with the intention to continue his steps.

“Ryan..” cried Mickey to resuscitate Rayn. He still held Rayn's steps.

Rayn stopped her steps. With a serious face he said to Mickey. “I know, you also really hope I remember it right? Seeing you're still keeping those phones, it looks like there's something you want to know about the accident as well. I closed my eyes and didn't ask you all this time why you kept it, not because I didn't care. But I was waiting for you to tell me for yourself. Because I cherish our childhood, appreciate how we grew up together and how my mother wholeheartedly raised us together” Rayn said with a serious look to Mickey.

Hearing what Rayn said left Mickey's body unmoved, his hands began to tremble and his lips instantly locked. He did not expect if it turns out Rayn knew he kept Rayn's phone found in the TKP and his own phone at that time.

Seeing Mickey just silent, Ryan continued his footsteps past Mickey just like that. He entered the path surrounded by pine forest with full lighting of the road. Arka tells Mickey to follow Rayn.

Rayn's unusual attitude today is because she just met her father who came to Villa with a man from Canada. Every encounter he had with his father had always put pressure on him which made him even more helpless.

Coupled with hearing Arka's report about Lucia who was in the police station not only made her anxious, but she herself also wanted to meet with Lucia and hope that if Lucia could give her strength and calm. However, the world did not seem to side with him today. Lucia who at that time did not know the difficulties experienced by Rayn, instead let Rayn return to the Villa with Arka.
