CHAPTER 08 - Psychopath

Rayn's words make Lucia auto parno. He thought that Rayn indirectly asked him to turn off the call as if he did not want his voice to be heard by others.

“Hello Dave, Dave.... ha. ha. haha.. it looks like he has fallen asleep” replied Lucia directly closing the call and removing the bluetooth earphones.

“Oh my god, what should I do now. Why is the situation getting so scary. Being in the middle of the forest without lighting, the wind blew a sign of heavy rain, lightning struck, could only see the trees along the road plus the cold man who sat like a statue next to me. Why should it be complicated

bang.” Lucia could only mutter in her heart.

“But you must calm down Lucia, because at least she is still a human being just like you. Right, he's still human. It is not a ghost, a Devil, a Goblin or a Vampire. You're just too much of a Lucia. If he wants to have bad intentions, must have done it from earlier when we began to enter this region” said Lucia in her heart occasionally glanced at Rayn.

“OK, everything will end after we pass the turn” said Lucia excitedly in heart by increasing the speed of her car.

The car turns and stops in front of the large Villa building with a natural minimalist modern concept. The combination of modern wooden interiors and attractive architecture make the Villa look luxurious and comfortable. The front yard of the spacious Villa with many lighting points adds to the beauty of the dwelling.

“Finally we have arrived, I still can't believe if there is such a luxurious residence here” said Lucia in the car with wide eyes looking around.

“Down....“ Rayn's command opens the exit of the car and walks towards the Villa.

“Derrrrrrr….!!!!.

The sound of lightning struck again accompanied by rain that immediately fell with a torrent.

Lusia opened the car glass and shouted “Sorry.., I will immediately return” he shouted to Rayn who looked relaxed walking under the rain.

“Hei... !!!“ lusia shouted back loudly, the rush of rain made her voice definitely not heard by Rayn.

"Ting Ting Teng Tung ... ."

Hearing a musical instrument sounding repeatedly, Lucia turned to the passenger seat where the source of the sound came from.

“Micky Shield... ?“ Lucia grabbed a phone that belonged to none other than Rayn.

“Heiii.. !” shrieked Lucia through the windshield. Rayn has entered the Villa terrace. Lucia rushed down and ran towards him to the terrace of the Villa.

“You left your phone... !” shouted Lucia while running.

Rayn, who had pressed several of her door ciphers, stopped her finger and turned towards Lucia. He saw that the girl who had driven him home was soaking wet.

“Wait...what is this situation? Did he actually intentionally leave his phone for me to come here?" murmured Lucia recalled that Rayn had asked her to get down before getting out of the car.

“You can already give it to me ?“ rayn asked to look at Lucia who was just daydreaming by holding her mobile phone.

“What … ? What do you want me to give you?” ask back Lucia frowned by clutching her body.

“My phone... !” rayn answered briefly extending his hand.

“Oh... mobile... haha“ said Lucia amused with her own mind while returning Rayn's phone.

“Come in....” says Rayn again pressed the door password.

“Oh no need, I will directly return“ said Lucia refused.

Verified password and door open, Rayn invites Lucia in. “I can help you warm up your body for a while in“ said Rayn entering leaving Lucia by leaving the door open.

“Warming… ? What does it mean to warm my body ? I'm guessing there must be something, is he a lewd man ?.“ Lucia again thinks no-no by peering at a glimpse of Rayn's departure behind the door.

"I'll be right back.. !” Shouted Lucia.

“Derrrrrr... !“

The sound of lightning continued to shock Lucia. “Oh god bad luck what is happening to me now“ said Lucia stroking chest.

“Derrrrrr… !"

The sound of lightning and lightning struck back as Lucia was about to step foot away from Villa. Suddenly he undoes his intention to quickly return to the terrace in shock.

“Can you drive in heavy rain like this?“ rayn asked out with a towel in his hand.

“Derrrrrrrr... !“

“Mama.., shouted Lucia. He immediately squatted down by covering both his ears.

Rayn's arrival and the shocking sound of lightning had completely messed with his mind. He seemed to have given up on his current situation.

Rayn without permission immediately grabbed onto Lucia's hand. It was clear that Lucia's cold, trembling hands made Rayn pull her up and lead her into the Villa.

“Have I told you from earlier to enter why are you still standing outside?“ rayn asked by helping Lucia sit on the sofa.

Lucia just got down to grab a towel from Rayn's hand. “Thank you” he said in a soft tone not daring to look at Rayn.

“I'll light a fireplace to warm your body” said Rayn tidying up some dry wood and making a fire.

“Aaa fireplace he means by warming" murmured Lucia in heart.

"You live here alone ?” lusia asked Rayn who was behind her.

“Eemm....” replied Rayn briefly.

“Stay for a moment until it rains, driving alone at this time is too dangerous” said Rayn stood up after finishing lighting the fireplace.

“But living here with an unknown man is much more dangerous.. “ murmured Lusia shriek.

“Dangerous... ?“ tanya Rayn sighed harshly hearing Lusia's mutter.

“Didn't you decide to come here“ said Rayn in a relaxed tone turned towards Lucia.

“Yes God, who exactly is this man. Is he really the one who was with me?“ said Lucia in a dumbfounded heart to see the man standing in front of her have a handsome face with hair that is still wet.

So far Lucia can only hear the sound of Rayn's bass behind her mask. He can only conclude that Rayn is a proud, cold and ungrateful man just through his attitude and sharp eyes. It is unexpected if the man who has a height of 182cm from earlier with a super duper-looking face.

“Why are you looking at me?” rayn asked to see Lucia just silently staring at him.

“Oh no, no. I just feel like I shouldn't be here too long Lusia said putting the towel that Rayn gave me on the table right next to her. He was going to go back home at that time.

“Don't force, won't you know that the road you're about to walk on has no illumination, is very dark, uphill and winding. You will only drive among the trees in the way I drive like a keong”, Rayn copy paste Lucia said in the call.

"Did he really notice her ?. It's getting more scary to hear it like a repeater. Rayn actually remembered it without missing 1 word. Rayn clearly remembered the words of Lucia means that she actually noticed everything from now on.

“Why is there absolutely no street lighting?” lusia diverted the conversation.

“I don't need it” replied Rayn.

“You sure you're alone ? don't have a helper or so on?” ask Lucia. Rayn did not reply, she only sighed harshly staring at the timid but very chatty girl from earlier.

“Aaaa... haha I just feel this dwelling is very big so I think it must be difficult to take care of it myself” continued Lucia said with an awkward laugh.

“Why should he choose to stay in this quiet place alone, who would know if he was sick or even dying. Does he think he's in fairyland” murmured in Lucia's heart.

“I'll get you a drink, ” said Rayn to leave Lucia.

“Do not.. !” Shouted Lucia quickly.

“Do... ?” rayn asked puzzled by the intention of Lucia's cry. If normally people refuse by saying 'no, thank you' but he with the strange word ~don't.

“Should he say what, drink ? Wait.. !” Lucia's thoughts about psychopaths reappeared.

“Eeee, em.. that's not what I mean.. ” said Lucia confused.

“You don't need to bother, at the moment I'm not thirst” continued Lucia replied quickly after the connection in her head returned to normal.

“I told you not to force yourself” said Rayn saw the still trembling hands of Lucia. Rayn left Lucia to go to the Kitchen.

“What does it mean to force yourself. Although I now need water to be calmer, but who knows if he'll put something in it. Then I made him unconscious and he... Wow, scary !” Lucia thought hard, thinking about all the possibilities that could happen.

Lucia stood looking around. “This residence is very spacious but very minimal furniture, is it because he lives alone ?” lusia asked widened her eyes to see the whole on the 1st floor.

Lucia stared at the window with the curtains open. The rain is still heavy even occasionally still seen lightning lightning strikes. Instantly his heart thumped even more after he saw Rayn walking towards him which was clearly visible reflection on the glass. Rayn approached him slowly swinging her hand as if it was about to touch Lucia's body.

“It's old enough, don't give him a chance. No matter the thunderstorm rain, you must leave this place immediately.” Lucia's heart. Lucia ventured to quickly turn her body towards Rayn.

'Ting.. Tungs…'

The doorbell rang suddenly, making Rayn and Lucia look at the door at the same time. Lucia felt this was her chance to escape leaving the mysterious place.

“Wait...!!!”

Rayn held back the wrist of Lucia who was rushing to leave.
