CHAPTER 169 - VVIP Invitation

This afternoon the sun was scorching, but it did not prevent Lucia from picking some flowers in the garden. After picking the flower Lusia quickly arrange and arrange it on the facet of the flower that already contains water. Arka was seen coming to approach Lucia who was still in Villa's garage.

Arka comes with some letters for Rayn. The letters were taken from Rayn's downtown penthouse address. Arka is the one who is on duty with a certain schedule bringing the letter to Rayn. Arka gives the letters to Lucia which will later be handed over to Rayn.

Lucia's eyes seemed to focus on a green invitation with a leaf pattern between the letters. It was clearly written if it was an invitation to an auction exhibition of Lotus paintings.

"VVIP...? Wah.." said Lucia amazed then he hurriedly entered and climbed the stairs to his room. Lucia grabbed her phone and seemed busy contacting David.

Lucia wanted to ascertain if the invitation was real, she had never heard if Lotus would hold the event at David's Galery. David confirmed that his Galery would be the venue for the Auction Exhibition held by Lotus.

It has been almost one week that they are preparing for the first activity held by Lotus. David himself also did not understand why Lotus chose his Galery, because all of it was the father's project that was handed to him. David was very honored because Psithurism Art was chosen and trusted by famous painters such as Lotus.

"But there's something that surprises me even more if you accept the VVIP invitation. I also do not know anyone who will be a VVIP guest because all invitations are arranged directly by the team from Lotus. They just said that we were going to get the H-1 guest list" David said.

From the agenda received by David, David said if VVIP guests will get a special time of 1 hour before the exhibition opens for other guests. So the VVIP will have a special time and treatment so that they can enjoy all the Lotus paintings that will be auctioned.

After confirming the authenticity of the invitation with David, Lucia rushed to meet Rayn who was currently in the painting room. Lucia pressed the password, and she entered as soon as the door opened. "Rayn, look! You accepted the invitation to the auction exhibition Lotus held. I've confirmed with David if this is true, but how can you be a VVIP guest" asked Lucia.

Rayn stood examining and opened the envelope of the invitation, she saw her name written clearly Rayn's name on the invitation."It still makes sense if I get it, because I'm also a painter. Wouldn't it be weird if it was your name" whispered Rayn teasing Lucia.

Lusia quickly grabbed Rayn's hands suddenly" Rayn.... Can I come with you?" ask Lucia expectantly.

Rayn acted as if she was thinking, raising her eyebrows while looking at Lucia who was smiling so sweetly as she wanted something from him. Rayn is still silent because at this time he actually looks to enjoy the adorable face of his wife.

"Ray... ! Honestly it's okay if you don't bring me, why just shut up. All right, I was wrong to hope" Lucia said, then turned to leave Rayn's painting room.

Rayn smiled, then grabbed onto Lucia's body and hugged her from behind. Rayn gave the invitation to Lucia while leaning her head on Lucia's shoulder. "You're my wife, shouldn't you go with your husband" Rayn said.

Lucia broke down a smile, she sighed harshly as it turned out that Rayn had only teased her. Lucia is still wondering why Rayn can get the invitation, even she is a VVIP guest. Maybe Rayn really knows the figure of Lotus.

That silly question that had crossed Lusia's mind. Rayn did not give any explanation because she herself did not expect to get the invitation. But for Rayn, it was not a good thing among fellow painters.

Lucia tried to conclude. "I also feel that way, it's just that it's quite a step. Lotus was a famous painter with a pen name that was no profile. And you're also a painter who never showed himself to the world. How can you know each other that I don't understand" Lucia murmured.

At Psithurism Art, David seemed busy preparing for the auction event which will be held in 4 days. He just made sure some of the Lotus paintings that had been received by Galery, he checked if all the paintings were received in good condition without any problems. David asked some of the staff to do a strict escort against the main painting and some of the paintings to be auctioned. Based on the preparation schedule, they will receive the remaining 3 exclusive paintings tomorrow.

Amid the busyness of David, Reisa came with a challenging provision in his hands. Reisa showed the bushel was giving David a code to take a break and go enjoy the provisions from him. David immediately finished his work and approached Reisa. These few days David was preoccupied with preparing for the Lotus event. He looked very serious and professional as Lotus was also his favorite artist.

"I did not expect that Lotus would entrust this activity to your Gallery" Reisa said as she opened one by one a box of supplies filled with nutritious food made.

Reisa felt a little astonished because if looking from the extraordinary works with the current amount, Lotus should have been able to open his own Gallery. But somehow he did not do it at all even though his name was already very big in the world of painting.

"Do you know something that surprised me?" david asked, saying to Reisa.

"Rayn, Lucia's husband gets a VVIP invitation to the event. Lucy called me to confirm the invitation" David said.

Although David and Reisa knew that Rayn was also a painter, they would never have expected Rayn and Lotus to know each other. Seeing Rayn as a VVIP guest, it seems like the two have a pretty close relationship. David suspects that Rayn most likely knows who Lotus really is.

Although Lotus often held exhibitions in several major countries around the world, this became the first painting auction market event held by Lotus during his time as a writer. So, this activity will really be a big concern especially the art world.
