CHAPTER 62 - Because I Like It

The next day, Lucia woke up early, as usual to prepare Rayn's breakfast. Lucia looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. “This is so bad” said Lusia looking into her bruised eyes in tears

overnight.

“Very embarrassing, very embarrassing. Want you to hide where your face Lucia” continued muttered Lucia by hitting her head repeatedly. He felt very embarrassed to remember the incident last night where he was crying in Rayn's arms.

Lucia looked at her hand that was still wrapped in the bandage Rayn had worn for her. “This is her fault, why should I hug me so that my tears break. Right, it's his fault so you don't have to be ashamed of Lucia” he said then harshly washed his face with one hand.

Lucia then goes to the kitchen to prepare Rayn's breakfast. He was surprised to see Rayn who had woken up earlier than him and was busy in the kitchen.

“Rayn…? What are you doing?” tanya Lucia approached Rayn.

“Sauce barbeque or spicy sweet?” rayn asked suddenly when he saw the presence of Lucia. He asked with 2 bottles of sauce in his hand to Lucia.

“Pe...dass.. ma...niss” replied Lucia hesitated while glancing at exactly what Rayn was working on.

Rayn nodded. “Alright, if so wait and sit” orders Rayn.

“I? Sit?” lucy answered by pointing at herself. “ But I'm here to prepare your breakfast”

Lucia hesitantly followed his orders and sat down at the dining table, she just waited and saw Rayn who was busy processing things. Rayn looks very skilled and deft, as if she is used to dealing with kitchen utensils. He looks even better than me in the kitchen.

Rayn makes a simple but also nutritious breakfast menu.2 medium-sized grilled sausages covered in sweet spicy sauce selected by Lucia herself. It even complements it with steamed potatoes and a decoction of sweet corn pipil vegetables, carrot fruit and small cut chickpeas.

Breakfast was finished, Rayn immediately served it by putting the portion in front of Lucia. He then sat opposite Lucia with her vegetable salad menu.

“You're asking me to spend all this while you're just eating salad? I feel like there is something unfair” said Lucia while shaking her head at the breakfast Rayn served her.

“Why? Are you afraid of fat? These are all foods that will nourish you” he said by turning his fork over a Lucia plate.

“Why did you suddenly make breakfast?” ask Lucia.

“Can you prepare all this with one hand only?” ask Rayn. “There is no need to thank or feel flattered, I just can't bear to see your helpless hand it” continued Rayn.

Hearing Rayn's words made Lusia smile. By putting on a sweet face, he made Rayn almost misbehave.

"What's with your smile?” rayn asked with a suspicious look.

“Do I need to injure my leg too for you to be more attentive? Maybe I will not only get breakfast every day, but what other treatment can I receive?” tanya Lucia teased Rayn with her candlestick.

“Legs...?” asked Rayn and thought.

“Eemmm” replied Lusia nodding with a sip of drinking water.

Rayn put down her fork, she then propped up her chin with one hand while looking at Lucia. “Why not with your heart, if injured I am also willing to treat it” he said with a relaxed expression.

Rayn's sinless speech shocked Lucia and spouted water from her mouth. Fortunately, he turned his face so that he spouted it to the side. “Hya....!!!” he shouted to Rayn.

Rayn smiled. “It seems that now your throat is also sick” continued Rayn with her jokes seeing Lucia's reaction.

“Very embarrassing” murmured Lusia softly while getting up from her seat about to clean her former spray.

“Stop...! Let it go, someone will clean it up later" Rayn ordered while gulping down the juice.

“You still want to joke? Who would do that? Yourselves? It's just the two of us here. Ah.. No, there's still Arka. But still there's no way I'm gonna let you guys clean it up.

1 Hour passed after they finished their breakfast. Rayn and Lucia were sitting casually on the sofa of the 1st floor living room.

“You seriously called them?” tanya Lucia saw 4 janitors enter after being opened the door by Arka.

“Only...., just because of the burst earlier you threw away money by calling them?” tanya Lucia was about to stand up from her seat.

Noticing Lucia who was about to go to the kitchen, Rayn immediately grabbed onto Lucia's hand and held her back. “I want to read the book quietly. It is difficult to do if there are strangers in this house” said Rayn by looking at Lucia who was standing.

Rayn then continued her words by looking at her hand that was holding onto Lucia's hand. “For that I need you more here, so stay seated” he continued asking Lucia to sit back next to him.

“But..” said Lucia looked at the cleaning officer who had entered the kitchen. “Again if you want to calmly read a book why not read in the reading room just” grumbled Lucia back to sit.

Rayn just smiled and went back to the pages of her fairy tale book. He deliberately read on the basement floor despite being aware that there would be a janitor coming. Rayn is looking for an opportunity to be with Lucia on the grounds of the existence of a cleaning officer. If he was reading in the 2nd floor reading room, then he had no reason to keep Lucia at his side.

“Why did you suddenly blame my head?” sahut Lucia with grumbling.

Rayn took a breath and stopped him. “That's because your hand” he said by blocking the bandaged Lusia hand. “How can I let you clean a Villa of this size with such an injured hand.” he continued with a different look.

“Hya...Rayn!!” lusia shouted to her feet and took her hands off Rayn's grasp. “Don't talk to me with such a look."

“What's wrong?" ask Rayn. "Hey, Lucia... Why does your face turn red?” ask Rayn.

“Forget it, just continue reading your book in the reading room of the 2nd floor. They will also clean this floor, Lusia replied walking away up the 2nd floor first by fanning her face that felt hot.

“Lussia..” call Rayn in a tone of voice that can make her drift away.

Lucia stopped her steps. “What else is this..” murmured in his heart by turning his head.

Rayn stretched out her hand with the wailing face she forced. “There are some people, help me” he said asking Lucia to take him upstairs with her because of the janitors.

Lucia sighed harshly, she returned and grabbed Rayn's helping hand. They walked up to the 2nd floor together.

“Not only the coffee man can give you leave. I can also give you a full break, even with the bonus of pampering you” said Rayn still further teasing Lucia so that it makes her face like a boiled crab.

“Stop..., or I will also make you feel bandaged” threatened Lucia.

“It's okay, I like. Then our hands will be couple” said Rayn still continues to tease Lucia.

“Forward, if you don't want me to take your hand off and you continue riding by yourself” again threatened Lusia when they just climbed a few steps.

Rayn immediately stopped her footsteps and looked at Lucia. “You sure you're going to let go? Didn't you promise, did you forget? I still remember clearly, even on this ladder you said to me..eemmm“ said Rayn while pretending to remember. He still teased Lucia with a beautiful face.

Lusia breathed, she gave up and stretched her footsteps while holding Rayn's hand. “What's wrong with you today, is it because you're bored?” lusia asked with lethargic steps up the stairs.

Rayn again smiled with satisfaction, she changed the position of her hand holding onto Lucia and took a step faster so that she led the way in front of Lsuia. “Because I like”.

Lucia widened her eyes. Looking at Rayn's back, he felt something was wrong with what he had just been with from Rayn's lips. “Su..sukaaa?” tanyanya Roubt.

Hearing Rayn still not stopping, Lucia opened her eyes and immediately turned to look at Rayn with a sharp look as if she wanted to eat Rayn. Rayn immediately looked away with a serious pretend face she opened her fairy tale book and pretended to read it.

Rayn's indecision towards Lucia always made Lucia almost misunderstood. But that's Rayn, no one knows behind his ignorance, whether all is just a mere fad or there are some that he really wants to express from his heart. Only Rayn knew the answer. Whatever it is, for a person who is always alone like him, this is the first time he feels comfortable with others. And that was his way of maintaining his closeness with Lucia.
