CHAPTER 178 - Stupid

After finishing a light breakfast in the room, Lucia exited the room sluggishly opening the door like an intruder about to escape. Lucia opened the room door and glanced out left and right hoping she wouldn't come face to face with Aunt Adelin.

Lucia felt very embarrassed because Aunt Adelin must have heard the whisper of love full of joy that escaped from their mouths while in the bathroom.

"Is the Madam looking for something?" asked Aunt Adelin who suddenly appeared to surprise Lucia.

Aunt Adelin smiled and invited Lucia to come with him. Aunt Adelin took Lucia to the dining room. Aunt Adelin pulled out a chair for Lucia to sit down and coded the service to serve food to the table.

Rayn felt that what was happening right now was like a dream to her. After a dozen years, now he returns home not alone, but with a woman who will accompany the rest of his life and become a mother for his children. That happiness would be more perfect if only Rayn's mother was still with them at this time.

Arka comes to see Mickey convey the information he has obtained from a secret informant who has been working for Mickey. That was the reason why Mickey was currently there was to meet with the informant. "You got it?" mickey asked and went to get a cup of coffee and sat down.

"Tiger's? Was he involved in drug trafficking?" ask Mickey who already knows about the Tiger Mafia group.

Arka explained in detail all the information he had received. Tiger is a mafia group that is very famous among its as a major cross-country drug dealer. Mike Rayden's involvement is none other than Mickey's father with Tiger because of the identity of Mickey's Uncle, Louis Rayden.

Louis Rayden was on Tiger's most wanted list because he had embezzled large amounts of funds in the group. Not only that, Louis also brought a huge amount of running drugs that put Tiger in big trouble with his clients.

Upon learning that Mike has a problem with the police over his child and wife's abuse, Louis takes the opportunity by offering to exchange identities with Mike. Louis uses his twin brother to hide behind bars. To Mike, Louis said he was just running away from loan sharks because of debt.

Getting the offer, Mike also felt if this was an opportunity to take advantage of Louis. Mike accepted the offer. For Mike, avoiding the pursuit of loan sharks is no big deal. But unfortunately Mike does not know what his twin brother looks like.

Mike finally makes a plan to bring the situation back. Mike sends Tiger information with an anonymous identity. He uncovers Louis' hideout with Tiger by uncovering the fact that Louis is hiding in prison using the identity of his twin brother.

Knowing that, of course Tiger will not be silent. Tiger deploys the hit men to carry out the shooting attack when Louis is transferred to the prison. In the attack, as reported by an inmate named Mike Rayden who was actually Louis Rayden died on the spot. From then on, Mike Rayden lived as Louis Rayden peacefully. In one case five years ago, Mike was arrested for drug possession.

"Your father and uncle used each other to end up being used" Arka concluded.

"So they're no longer after him because they know that the man who lives by Louis's identity is not Louis now."

Arka confirmed it and then gave one more document containing the biodata of a man. That man is Baram, Mike's accomplice. I don't know what bond the two have, but Mike once saved Baram who was almost killed by a mafia gang.

With a serious face Arka focused on Baram's profile. "We can't underestimate this guy because he has a lot of wide connections with people who have a big influence. Baram got a false identity for your father to flee to one of the countries in Asia" Arka explained.

Arka added, if Baram is the person who has been helping Mike Rayden. Even Baram openly helps Mike, a fugitive, flee abroad with a false identity, not using a ship but an airplane. "If he doesn't have a high connection, this is a very risky action" Arka added.

"Why do you seem surprised that for years they were able to smuggle millions of illegal goods into different countries, do you think it's very difficult for them to just smuggle one life?" mickey said casually.

"What is the possible reason your father ran away to escape the country?" ask Arka.

Mickey threw the document back on the table. "Do what Mike did to Louis. Send all this information anonymously to Tiger, make it a scenario if they are the ones Louis has fooled. Louis is still alive today is Louis" Mickey orders Arka.

Arka was surprised by the order because it means Tiger will come back to target Mickey's father again with more wrath. "If your father falls in Tiger's hand, then he'll really die, they'll kill him. Are you okay, Mr Mickey?" ask Arka.

Mickey stood up "One thing I need to emphasize to you, stop calling that man my father. He's not my father, my father was dead before I even saw this world. And also, am I okay? If Tiger can't kill him, then I'm the one who will" Mickey said.

Arka reluctantly apologizes to Mickey for speaking presumptuously. Arka leaves the hotel room after reminding Mickey of the hours of their next flight to Canada.
