CHAPTER 19 - Exiled

“You chose the right decision baby..” said Mickey saw there was an incoming call from Lucia. Mickey unhesitatingly answered the call.

“Have you decided on it?” ask Mickey excitedly.

“It looks like you already know why I called you. Yes, I accepted your offer. Can we meet to talk more about his work ?” ask Lucia.

“It looks like you're the one who's more excited than me. Of course, I'll pick you up tomorrow” Mickey replied smiling broadly at Lucia's words.

Mickey looked very happy. For him, with Lusia working for him was already like winning the Lottery. Uncontrolled excitement suddenly stole the attention of some people who dressed neatly like a bodyguard standing around him. Realizing all eyes were on him, he immediately returned to calmly walking to leave the room.

"You guys stay here, you don't have to follow me" Mickey told the men not to follow him. They simply nodded simultaneously and opened the door for Mickey to leave the room.

The next day, Mickey was in front of the minimarket not far from the home of the hostel to pick him up. Lucia asks Mickey to wait for her there because Reisa doesn't want to know. He decides to get a deal with Mickey first, after which he will tell Reisa. At least that way he will still get the blessing of his best friend despite having to fight through the war with Reisa.

Mickey honks his car when he sees Lucia across the street. Lucia ran to her car, then knocked on the windshield in a hurry to ask Mickey to open the door immediately. Lucia repeatedly glanced left-right then entered the car. Again in a hurry he asked Mickey to run his car immediately. Without much question Mickey followed him running the car.

“Are we playing a drama called ‘Kabur with My Friend's Affair’ ? asked Mickey laughed amusedly at the behavior of Lusia earlier.

“It turns out your imagination is more ridiculous than my behavior” replied Lusia while removing the hoodie headgear she wore to cover her face.

Mickey says he will take Lucia directly to the Villa to meet Ryan. Honestly, Mickeky still hasn't got Rayn's approval. Rayn ignored his call since he told her that Lucia was accepting the job she was offering. Not only was Mickey's call ignored, but Rayn also changed his Villas password to avoid Mickey's interference.

Once at Villa, Mickey tries to re-enter with the last password he knows, hoping Rayn will change it back.

“Does he still ignore you until now ?” tanya Lucia felt signs that the offer would no longer take effect.

“Not only ignored my call but as you can see, even he still hasn't changed his password yet. The punk” upset Mickey after failing to try to enter the password. Mickey banged on the door screaming for Ryan.

“Do we go back first, maybe he's not home.” Lucia asks Mickey to stop banging on the door

"No, he's never going anywhere. All right, we'll just wait. I've asked officers who are experts in this matter to come, they will clean it up” said Mickey.

Lucia shook her head in wonder, why Mickey had to waste time shouting and banging on the door while she had already asked someone who could help her to come.

“But are you sure he's okay ? Is something possible inside, that's why he didn't answer your call?” lusia asked as clingak-clinguk peeked at the window breaking through the sidelines of the curtain that opened slightly.

“You're right, if so we do this” said Mickey grabbed a small stone to put horses ready to throw it to the 2nd floor which only visible balcony only.

“Hey, what are you doing ?” husia shouted to stop Mickey.

“Solving the glass, what else is it ? if he still doesn't come out then fix something happened with him in” Mickey replied.

“You did the tampering of his name.”

“In case of damage, I just need to replace it with a new one.”

“Are you crazy ? what if it hurt him ?” lusia's question forced Mickey to throw a small stone in his hand.

Amidst their little debate, an officer who will help Mickey arrives.

“How can you do this ? Doesn't he think you're a con man who intends to steal" whispered Lucia.

"There's nothing I can't do" he replied with a proud smile.

"How did he trust you so easily when you said you forgot your password because you haven't been visiting for so long?” asked Lucia with a suspicious look.

“Haha, don't look at me suspiciously like that. Do you think being in the drama ‘Thriller’ your reaction that actually scared me”, said Mickey.

“If I thought again, it looks like you're mostly watching dramas. Almost every genre you memorize. I warn, for a man it is not good for you” said Lucia checkmate.

“I'm a person who doesn't like to be misunderstood, especially by a girl who always thinks wild like you" Mickey said of Lusia's strange thoughts about bromance to him.

"So I'll make it clear to you, their security company is also part of the one responsible for the security of this Villa. And I'm in charge of everything. Why is that, I don't have to explain it to you. Is that right Mr Bram ?” mickey asked with a smile as he tidied up the identity card bearing the name of Bram hanging in the pocket of the officer's shirt. The man just lowered his head and let Mickey put up a new password.

The door opened and the horse was shocked by Rayn's presence behind the door with a horrible look.

“Since when did you stand there ?” ask Mickey.

“Are you guys conspiring to rob ?” rayn asked with a face full of annoyance.

“You alone, what are you doing ? I wouldn't have done it if you hadn't ignored me, and about the password.'ll forget” Mickey replied stepping in, Rayn immediately took a step back to avoid it.

“What did you bring him here for ? Didn't I clearly tell you ?” rayn asked Mickey to see where he was. Lucia turned her face towards Mickey.

“Stop scaring him, you've read my message so you know” Mickey said.

“Nail !!!” rayn orders Mickey to follow him who has already climbed the stairs up to the 2nd floor leaving Lucia.

“Alright, this is what I should have finished with you from yesterday” geurtu Mickey followed Rayn up to the 2nd floor.

“What can be trusted if they don't have a special relationship ?“ lucy asked inwardly looking at the behavior of the two.

Mickey tries to explain his intention of bringing Lucia to work with him. Although he cannot promise a perfect result, he is confident that Lucia will help Rayn heal.

“I told you not to do anything” Rayn said.

“I just hope this helps you" Mickey said.

“Help me ? What makes you think he can help me ? Because I didn't have any reaction when I touched her ? Then what do you want me to do if he's the only person I can touch ?You're gonna hold her with me my whole life or you're hoping if I need to marry her ?” ask Rayn from muddle-ceplos out of annoyance.

“Married ? If it had to why not” replied Mickey follow origin without thinking.

"Are you crazy?”

“I know this may sound crazy, but it never hurts us trying. It's not just about your recovery, but you'll no longer need Lotus to show your work.”

“Wah... “ Rayn smiles cynically in disbelief at what she just heard. “You know if I don't care though no one will ever recognize me”.

Micky sighed. ”How about your father ?" tanyakanya.

“Why you should take him. Wasn't it enough with him to ask you to watch me all this time. Has he begun to urge you to make me a worthy son as heir ? You can come to him in my place, I don't need him.” Answer Rayn.

“Until when will you keep this up?” ask Mickey.

“Did you forget ? If he's the one who dumped me.” Rayn held back her anger considering how long her father had exiled her to live life alone.

Although Rayn's father met all of Rayn's facilities and needs, his father never once introduced Rayn to the public as his son. His father only always said that he did not want to disturb the life of his son who was abroad. Surely the attitude of his father who once loved him changed after the death of Rayn's mother.

"Then you'll take it and leave it alone for the rest of your life ?” mickey lowered his tone to hear Rayn's answer. Mickey knows how Rayn feels.

“He who wants it, what do you care. Do you want me to beg him to love me ? Even I can't remember the last time he called my name as his son.”

“What do I care about ? How can you ask me that after seeing all this” Mickey said looking around the room that was only filled with bottles of liquor.

“Look! Do you think it's mineral water that should be consumed every day ? How can I ignore you when you keep ruining your life with those drinks”.

“Why ? are you starting to regret coming into my family ? You can blame me for taking you and making it hard for you like crazy.”

“Rayn... !” yelled Mickey mad.

Mickey tries to regain control of his emotions. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

“Only once, can you do it ? If you refuse treatment at least we try it with Lucia. I know I don't deserve to ask or force you . But, you also know why I do it.” Mickey again lowered his tone.

Rayn closed her eyes, sighed and looked back at Mickey standing in front of her.

“Therefore, I tell you not to do anything. You know why ? all this time he'd rather isolate me than give me a medical. I don't care how much he hates me but. I'll accept this as punishment for me, so forget your plan” Rayn's orders end the conversation leaving Mickey in his room.

Mickey just silently watched Rayn leave him. He lowered his head and took a deep breath and went down the stairs to approach the old Lucia they had left alone downstairs.

Arriving under Mickey was surprised not to see the whereabouts of Lusia. Mickey rushes out, he sees the surroundings calling Lucia's name. He realized that his discussion with Rayn must have surprised Lucia so much that he decided to leave. Mickey drives his car hoping to still meet Lucia. He was worried that Lucia would return only on foot.

In the middle of the road Mickey saw from a distance a taxi car that was spinning and Lucia stood on the road. Mickey stopped his car to see Lucia get into the taxi.

“I know he won't be that stupid” said Mickey running back his vehicle following a taxi to make sure Lucia returns safely. He had not expected that Lucia would think of hailing a taxi.

In the taxi, Lucia is silent about what really happened between Mickey, Rayn and her family.

“What kind of past do they have ? It seems very complicated and has painful memories. How could his father do this to him. What is meant by punishing him” said Lucia asked inwardly looking at the populace she was going through.
