CHAPTER 52 - Is He His Girlfriend? (Mission 3 Part 1)

Lucia finally could only resign, with heavy steps she stepped about to enter the car. Lucia fell silent she held back the door that Arka had opened. He looked down and asked Rayn who was sitting in the car. “You sure we go to the Cafe where I work?” tanyakanya.

“Do you have a problem with that?” ask Rayn back.

Lucia thought for a moment, she just felt that it would definitely be very awkward in front of her comrades later on. But Lucia also felt that she had to be professional and could put aside her personal feelings. “OK, no problem. I'll have Dave prepare a VIP room” he replied then walked in and sat down next to Ryan. Arka just smiled and closed the car door.

“Why should I ask them to have their VIP Room ready?” ask Rayn.

“Because it's safer and they also have to know your condition so that no one carelessly approaches you” replied Lucia while busy with her phone who will contact Dave.

Hearing Lucia's reply, Rayn immediately snatched Lucia's phone. “Why did you tell them? I don't want you to tell them my condition” orders Rayn.

“Why can't?” ask Lucia astonished.

“That would make me look weird if a man took cover behind a woman”, Rayn replied as she canceled Lucia's call with Dave.

“But it would be even stranger if they saw you continue to hold me, they would think if you were my girlfriend” grumbled Lucia.

Rayn positioned her seat turned to look at Lucia. “That's your problem and none of my business. And don't forget if you know better now we're not like going on a date or just want to have a coffee. But, you're running your mission. So, it's your job to somehow make things work out as usual and make me stick around looking normal. Otherwise, why would I sit there if everyone would have kept their distance by themselves. So, remember you're on your mission” Rayn replied by returning Lucia's phone and then looking forward again.

"Well, why is it so long" murmured Lucia heard Ryan's words.

They have arrived at the Cafe, Lucia still asks Dave to set aside a table for her and says if it will come with a friend.

Still in the car, Lucia hit her head repeatedly against the windshield. “Why he should come today” he said lethargicly looking at Kelvin's car parked in the Cafe staff's special parking lot.

Rayn comes to see Kelvin's car and looks at the look on Lusia's face. "Hah, as I expected" he said smiling with satisfaction as he exited the car after Arka opened the door.

"You're sure this Cafe isn't a market?” ryan asked after getting off the car followed by Lucia who was now standing next to him.

Rayn was surprised if the cafe in front of her eyes was filled with many visitors. It looks like every table is full, even has a long queue for take away because it does not have a seat.

Ryan just shook his head. “Look, are they traveling to the museum?” tanyanya sees the visitors who look busy live streaming and take pictures every corner of the Cafe. Especially the view centered on Kelvin, Dave and other baristas.

"Of course, it's because we have high-value Artifacts that can bring them all" said Lucia by looking back at Kelvin's car with a limp face.

Lusia sighed. "Ok, Lucia you can" he said encouraging himself. He tried to prepare mentally because the mission is currently carried out in his place of work. Where not only will there be coworkers but now there is also Kelvin there.

Lucia extended her hand. “You sure you're ready?” ask Ryan. Rayn nodded, she took a deep breath and ignored him. Ryan grabbed onto Lucia's helping hand and clasped her tightly.

They finally entered the Cafe after Arka helped open the door for the two. The sound of bells hanging on the door that indicate visitors enter immediately attracts the attention of all who are inside.

Seeing the arrival of Lucia, Dave immediately waved his hand and coded Lucia the location of the table that he had kept for Lusia.

After receiving a reply to a wave of Lucia's hand, Dave's facial features that had been excited slowly turned to be confused and curious. “He told me if he would come with his friend but what do I see now?” dave muttered seeing Lucia coming with a man even holding hands.

“Isn't that the man who came with him back then” said Vhia talking about Arka. “Already expected, if the man was the bodyguard of his girlfriend's messenger at that” he continued staring at Lucia and Rayn.

“Lussia already has a boyfriend?” ask Grace to Dave. Dave is one of the staff who is very close to Lucia, therefore he has always been a target for their kepo.

“Very surprising, it seems like he's good at picking up rich men. As soon as he always acts like a plain ass” chirps Vhia with a cynical smile.

Hearing Vhia's words, Dave immediately approached Vhia and asked. “What sister Vhia is talking about yourself?” ask Dave with a sharp look.

“Heist.... Keep your mouth shut!!!” gertak Vhia realizes that Dave is deliberately insinuating her.

"As for Vhia's sister to be able to take care of her and set the right example, then I will also try to keep my mouth" Dave replied.

“Already, everyone is back to work” Kelvin's command cut their conversation. He then looked at Lucia and Rayn.

“Is it true that Lucy already has a boyfriend?” ask Dave to Kelvin.

“Why did you ask me while the one who brought the man was he” Kelvin replied ketus.

“Ok, I'll ask myself” said Dave then go to Lucia to greet him.

“Hai.." say hello Dave. "From the many cafes why should this Cafe? Isn't he bored? Even Kak Lucia has made a fuss in the kitchen with the arrival of her brother with? dave asked, pointing at the hands of Lucia and Rayn who were still holding hands.

"I also have a hard time thinking about what answers you might be able to receive about who he is" he replied, not wanting to discuss more. Dave just nodded, he understood that Lucia did not want him to ask again.

Lucia asks Rayn to sit down. "Sit down, I'll order a drink for you” Lucia told Rayn.

Rayn held onto the hand of Lucia who was about to take her hand off. “No “ answer by opening the mask. “I will come and see for myself menu“ he continued by walking first to the cashier by still holding Lucia.

Ryan who opened the mask immediately attracted the attention of many visitors, the majority of whom were all women. They all started to whisper and did not take their eyes off Rayn and Lucia.

"OMG.

"Isn't that girl one of the cafe's staff?" whispered a loyal visitor Cafe who memorized with the entire staff. In fact, he also knew that Lucia was one of the cafe staff.

"True, even I also followed the social account of this Cafe and the account of all its staff including the girl. Is he her boyfriend? Wow very handsome" whispered another.

Lusia occasionally covered her face with one hand because of the discomfort was being noticed. But, he was also unlikely to take off Rayn's hand.

“No need to care, just focus on your mission” replied Rayn.

Kelvin stopped his activities after serving coffee he had made to staff to give to customers. Kelvin did not let go of his gaze to Lucia and Rayn who were already standing in front of the cashier table to select the menu and order.

Kelvin greeted Lucia with a smile. He already knew that Rayn was Lucia's superior. But seeing them hand in hand made Kelvin hard to believe that the two were this close.

"You're here apparently" Lucia said with an awkward smile.

I don't know what makes Lusia's heart feel very uncomfortable with the current situation because of Kelvin. Lucia knew very well that she did not have any special feelings or relationships with Kelvin. But, because he already knew how Kelvin felt to him that made Lucia feel like a bad girl.
