CHAPTER 37 - The Cruel Haters

Mickey contacted Lucia to confirm

lusia is still waiting in the library. Because he had arranged for the driver at Arka's request which was also an order from Rayn.

“What Rayn asked you for?” ask Lucia.

“Yes, wait. I've arranged people and he'll be right up to” Mickey replied and hung up.

Lucia was getting upset. “For what he asked Mickey to arrange for people to pick me up while he went away leaving just”.

Lucia asks Arka to stay waiting, while she does not return to the Villa and will go to the Cafe. Arka forbids Lucia from leaving alone because Rayn has assigned herself to ensure Lucia returns safely.

“Not this is still not the time for you to work at Cafe Miss Lucia?” ask Arka.

“I'll meet someone then go to work” he replied.

Lucia finally decided to leave Arka after calling a taxi. Lucia contacted Reisa and told him that she was on her way to the boarding house. However, Reisa is not there and asks Lusia to meet at the Cafe where Lusia works.

Once at the cafe, Reisa was waiting. “You are fast once until” said Lucia sat down. Reisa smiled by thrusting out the Juice she had ordered for Lucia.

“How are you doing with David? Is everything okay” asked Lusia.

Reisa doesn't seem to want to go over it too much, she just asks Lusia not to worry about their relationship. He also asked Lucia not to worry about her family's debts. Reisa did not want if Lucia took such a dangerous action without thinking long like last time.

“Reisa, thank you for worrying about me. Don't worry, I won't do that stupid thing again” said Lucia alluding to the decision she once took that was working at the Bar.

In the middle of the time they were chatting to each other, Reisa kept paying attention to her clock. “Do you have an appointment?” ask Lucia.

Reisa nodded. “I'm sorry Lucia, I have to go” immediately Reisa replied.

Lucia volunteered to accompany Reisa, but Reisa refused because she could go alone.

“Last-lately what has kept you so busy?” ask Lucia.

Lucia felt that for some time she had a very hard time contacting Reisa. Even though Reisa responds by only replying with a short chat.

“Don't worry, just a little preoccupied with the affairs of gallery” said Reisa saw Lucia worried about him. Reisa continued pamit. When Reisa got out of her chair, Kelvin suddenly came and approached them.

“You want to go?” ask Kelvin.

“I have an appointment and have to leave, but maybe Lucia will still be here. I say goodbye, Reisa told Kelvin. “I'll call you later” he continued to Lucia then left.

“How are you?" kelvin asked Lucia.

“Why are you asking while you know I'm still fine and can still work today” Lucia replied with a laugh.

Kelvin laughed. He admitted, although Lucia always came to the cafe but not for him. Because of his busy life, he rarely visited the cafe.

“Do you still see David often?” ask Lucia.

“David? Sometimes I talk on the phone, but I haven't seen each other in a long time. Why are you asking him?” ask Kelvin.

“I just feel Reisa's a little different, so I'm worried about her. Just the other time something happened with his relationship with David.” Answer Lusia.

“They are adults, even if something happens with their relationship, we cannot interfere too much. Believe me they can handle it” Kelvin said.

“Before they attack me and cause gossip, we should end our chat” Lucia whispered to Kelvin.

Kelvin glanced around and laughed. “Just let them create new gossip. I think it's better if they believe we have a relationship” Kelvin said with a smile. “It just helped me free from them” continued Kelvin again whispered to Lucia.

“Haisttt. It's profitable for you but a disaster for me. I still love my life, so I don't want to be their target” said Lucia.

“Then I will be the prince who protects you” Kelvin chirped.

“Oh, No... it's not that easy against them. Then how are you gonna protect me? By stretching your hands? Take me on a run with your white horse? Or confront them with your sword of fire? Do you think you're a Goblin.” Lucia. Kelvin just laughed amusedly at Lucia's imagination.

“However, in many ways and in all aspects, I am the one who is wronged. Losses in physical terms that they might attack to make me tempe tenet” continued Lucia.

He was increasingly excited to see the reaction of Kelvin who relaxed. “ in terms of image, I am sure they will always look for a gap to bring me down. “Just ignore me” says Kelvin.

Kelvin laughed again. “Do not laugh! You don't know the cruelty of the haters.

shaking his head as he moved out of his chair.

Kelvin rose but was banned by Lucia. “Do not stand!” lusia said, Kelvin again put his ass to sit. “Stay here, you can go later after some time later. Otherwise, they will be more and more convinced by their wild opinion” continued Lucia.

Kelvin ignores her by staying on his feet following Lucia. “It's not yet your working hours, what are you going to do?” ask Kelvin.

“To find extra salary. Aren't you proud to have a model employee?” ask Lucy smiling.

“How can an exemplary employee while Kak Lusia just mentioned about extra” salary said Dave. Lucia just laughed at Dave's insinuation.

“Dave, I told you” Kelvin said.

Rayn who left Lucia did not return to the Villa but went to a hotel. He was previously upset because of Lucia's attitude, but before arriving at the cashier's table he got a message from someone who sent a picture of Lucia.

Arriving at the hotel, he immediately went up the emergency stairs from the underground floor to reach the 4th floor. His departure alone without the care of Arka and Lucia made him unable to go through the lobby like other hotel guests.

Rayn headed straight to one of the hotel rooms that had been guarded by several bodyguards. Rayn held back her steps to a safe distance as the bodyguards began to take steps closer to her. Ryan's arrival was seen as a threat.

“Stop your step and tell your master if I am Rayn here” Rayn's orders go to the guards who intend to stop her. The guards ignored Rayn's orders and took steps to get closer.

“It looks like Michael didn't tell you. Before you lose your job, let him know if I'm here" Rayn ordered.

A bodyguard then gave the code to his subordinates to stop the move and contact someone who was inside the hotel room.

Who will Rayn meet ?
