CHAPTER 05 - Stuck Hugging

Elsewhere, in a luxurious 5-Star Hotel Ballroom with an elegant Flower Trumpet concept, Reisa could not help her worries by continuing to stare at the screen of the phone that had repeatedly failed to make phone calls with Lucia.

David feels very guilty for having told Reisa about what happened at the Gallery after receiving a report from his staff.

“If you want, we can go back to Galeri” persuade David to offer Reisa to leave the ongoing event.

“Did Bella not tell you anymore?” reisa asked with concern. Reisa was very unsettled because she had not received any news about Lucia.

“Last they are still trying to understand the situation to solve it. Because there is a problem with electricity so I can't monitor the cctv from here” replied David staring at Reisa.

Reisa continued to hold her phone in her lap, still trying to repeatedly try to contact Lucia again.

"Honey.. ” call David. Hearing the call, Reisa immediately realized if the word was aired, meaning David was very worried and asked Reisa to listen to him this time.

David grabbed his girlfriend's hands and looked at her. “How important this event is, I don't care. I don't want to make it a burden on your mind. It doesn't matter to me if I have to go back to Gallery now” David said.

Hearing her lover's words made Reisa take a deep breath and slowly swallow her. He must decide immediately, stay for David's sake or return to the Gallery for Lucia.

“It's okay, I'm fine. We can wait until Lucia answers my call or Bella calls you to tell”.

“I'm sorry David. I know you're worried about my current anxiety, but I also don't want to disappoint you who always choose to give up on my situation. Always and always I mess it up” Reisa said inwardly looking into David's eyes.

“Are you sure?” ask David back.

"Eemm.." replied briefly Reisa looked back to the front. David nodded, he clasped Reisa's hand and placed it on his lap.

David initially does not want to tell Reisa, but he also does not want to hide anything from his lover. He realized what happened in Galery should not be told to Reisa before getting certainty about what happened. However, he perfectly understood the personality of his lover who would feel very guilty if anything happened to Lucia. Because Reisa was the one who asked Lusia to come to the Gallery so that it was stuck in the current situation.

“I will follow your decision if you want to stay, believe me everything will be fine” David said with a small smile helping to ease Reisa's worries.

David is busy with his phone and goes back to talking to Reisa. “I've asked Bella to report Lucia's condition first after seeing the situation. I hope everything is fine" continued David whispered and then looked back to the front.

David follows Reisa's choice to stay instead of selfish feelings because he is currently attending an important event for his company. He knew under any circumstances, Reisa would always put her best friend Lusia first than she did. But what is happening now, Reisa has tried to decide to choose herself by staying on her side. David wanted to appreciate that by accepting Reisa's decision to stay.

At the Gallery, Lucia was still waiting with her arms around her and gave a small pat on Rayn's shoulder to calm her down. Although Lucia still could not fully understand what was happening with Rayn, but she could clearly feel the overwhelming fear Rayn was currently facing through her embrace.

“Are you starting to feel better?” tanya Lusia lirih's. Lucia's question doesn't get any more answers from Rayn.

The elevator was open, seen a staff & security officers approached him after driving the visitors out of Galery. Lucia gave the code not to approach first. Understanding the code given by Lucia, they stopped their steps.

Not long into the silence, the cell phone of one of the security guards rang. “Iya Mr. David, good sir. I will connect it with Ms. Bella”, said a security officer in a call and handed the phone to one of the staff named Bella.

Bella is one of David's trust staff. Bella learns of David's relationship with Reisa. Bella also knows and knows who Lucia is. Bella has a lot of respect for David, so she always treated Reisa and Lucia with courtesy.

“Yes Mr. David, everything is fine sir. The visitors have left the Gallery and we will close the Gallery soon”, Bella said as she looked back around the second floor. He confirmed that all visitors had left the Gallery except Rayn and Lucia.

“Iya sir? oh, you don't have to worry. Miss Lucia is currently fine, Pak” continued Bella.

“Good sir, I will give it to Miss Lusia.” Bella ends her conversation with David and gives her phone to Lucia at David's request.

“Sorry Miss Lucia, Mr. David would like to talk to you“ said Bella hesitantly to come closer.

“Oh, can. Give me the phone” Pinta Lusia.

“Ya.. this is me“ said Lucia.

“Are you okay?” ask David.

“Don't worry I'm fine” Lucia replied by staring at Rayn. Although the commotion had ended yet he still had to be caught in the arms of an unknown man.

“Talk first to Reisa, because she is very worried about you from last”, David said and handed the phone to Reisa.

“I'm sorry..“ replied Lucia felt guilty for making her best friend anxious.

“Are you hurt..?” ask Reisa.

“Everything is fine and I am also fine” Lucia replied.

“I don't understand why everything has to happen at once, why it has to turn off the lights, why the generator has to be problematic, and why there must be a strange man who starts a commotion. And what, a fight… ?. What kind of situation is this ? Me... .” Reisa's long nagging had to come to a halt as it was cut by Lucia.

“Wahh...., you really have received a complete report, even I myself do not remember the sequence of events that I experienced” cut Lucia.

"Reisa, listen to me. I'm doing fine. Really, no one was hurt in the least, all still intact as you saw last time. So stop worrying or worrying about me” stressed Lusia.

“How can I not worry, I have trouble contacting you, I told you to replace your phone with a new one!” reisa commands because she knows that Lucia's phone sometimes likes errors. “If you still haven't changed your phone and I have trouble contacting you again, I'll throw away all your stuff and drive you out of the kost” house Reisa continued.

“Haha.., at a time like this you can still taunt me. No problem with my phone, just continue your show, enjoy it, I don't want you to miss it again this time because of me. I'm sure David's a lot more worried about you now. Ok, I turn it off well, Bye...“ Lucia turns off the call and asks Bella to take her phone back.

Reisa seemed annoyed to hear Lucia turn off her call just like that. “ Wow, you see? How could he just disconnect his call?” reisa complained to David in annoyance.

The still panicked Reisa had no idea what kind of situation her best friend was currently facing, was stuck in the arms of an unknown man and still had to hear a scolding from him.

“That means everything is fine” said David with a thin smile looking at his adorable lover when upset.

In Galery, Lucia asked the Gallery staff to leave them for a moment. “Can you guys give us a minute?” tanyakanya.

“Oh sure, we will wait on the ground floor. If Miss Lucia needs anything can contact me below”, Bella said, then rushed to leave the second floor by giving a code to security officers to follow her.

“Thank you.” said Lucia lowered her head. Seen from the look of Lucia's face, he felt an incredible tingling because he had been squatting to hug Rayn for a long time.

“I'm not a phobia of dark” said Rayn slowly releasing her embrace. “While it is, isn't it your jacket that keeps me in the dark?” rayn continued while leaning his body against the wall.

“Ah... haha... . You're right, there were times when I was stupid, too rushed to read the situation. Sometimes it just makes me act careless” replied Lucia embarrassed to remember the ridiculous thing she did.

He only realized his folly of having told visitors if Rayn's possible phobia of the dark but he actually covered Rayn's head with his jacket.

“But I still gave you the light from my phone, didn't I. Haha” continued with a small laugh and then smiled like a fool.

“After this, do you still dare say that you have just saved someone Lucia ?Save your veins first, Lucia!” lusia's grumble inwardly lowered her head in front of Rayn held back the embarrassment.

“You are not stupid, because what you did saved me tonight” said Rayn inwardly looking at Lucia who was still downtrodden blushing in shame.

Rayn continued to stare at Lucia without saying anything more. The gaze that increasingly made Lusia misbehavior.
