CHAPTER 138 - Are You OK ?

Until now, Kelvin himself did not know the truth as to what actually happened. However, as he tries to investigate the case, he is convinced that his late uncle is also involved. He finds many irregularities that lead if his uncle is the one who should be responsible for the event.

To uncover the truth, Kelvin can only hope for the evidence that Lucia's father has. Although until now there has been no clue what kind of evidence Lucia's father had, even whether the evidence really exists or is just nonsense. Kelvin will continue to believe what he wants to believe if Lucia's father is just a victim.

This case is not easy because of the unstable condition of Lucia's father and the uncle who he suspects the main perpetrator has died. He will continue to seek and discover the truth, for the sake of those who have been hurt and become victims of the terrible event.

Lucy knows what happened to her father. Kelvin took a deep breath and sighed at his reckoning. Today has been a difficult day for all. Today was bound to come and he still did not know how he should face Lucia. Kelvin is aware that he is also part of the man who has injured Lucia. Covering up the truth and lying all year long is not an easy thing to forgive.

After receiving treatment, Lucia finally regained her consciousness. Rayn had planned to take Lucia home to get more treatment from her personal doctor. However, Lucia refused to go straight home because she felt she still had to meet with Kelvin to get the answer.

"I'm worried about you, wait for your condition to get better and then we'll talk about it again" asked Rayn, who worried about Lucia.

With her body still weak, Lucia tried to get out of bed. "I have to see Kelvin and I have to see my father. I can't just walk away Rayn" Lucia said in a voice that still sounded weak.

In the midst of his efforts to meet Kelvin, Kelvin had already come to see him. Kelvin was standing right in front of the door staring at Lucia. Kelvin is very worried about the condition of Lucia. "Are you okay?" tanyakanya.

Kelvin didn't take a step closer because Rayn was there. Lucia asked Kelvin to sit in bed right next to her. Lucia knew that it would certainly make Rayn feel uncomfortable, so Lucia allowed Rayn to search for air outside.

Rayn was aware of his weakness and he could do nothing about it. With a heavy heart he gave Lucia time to talk to Kelvin. "I'm not going anywhere, I'm going to wait for you outside" Rayn said, leaving them.

Lucia looked at Rayn's back with a feeling of guilt. Lucia realized that at this time she had been selfish to Rayn, she had ignored Rayn's feelings that were very worried about her. Lucia wanted to say sorry but she held him back because she didn't want to if sorry it would just end as a word.

Kelvin came in and he sat in bed right next to Lucia. "How are you doing? Are you all right?" kelvin asked for the second time. Lucia replied with a mutter followed by a feeling of Kelvin relief.

"If you've known him since my father was working at your father's company, does that mean you knew me at the time ?" ask Lucia who does not want to waste time just to mince words.

It is undeniable that what Lucia said was true, Kelvin had known Lucia long before she realized and acknowledged her existence. Kelvin just mutters and looks down which is the same as giving an answer if it's true.

"At that time I was too small and still did not understand anything, but I always trusted your father since I knew him and also until now" said Kelvin.

Kelvin begins to recount what he knows, including his first meeting with Lucia's father. Lucia's father always treated himself well whenever he met. Although they met whenever Lucia's father had business dealings with his father, Lucia's father always took the time to meet Kelvin. Lucia's father comforted her a lot and gave her advice whenever she did something wrong.

Kelvin hasn't seen each other since the collapse occurred. The last time he only knew if Lucia's father was visiting his father. Kelvin tried to get information about Lucia's father at every talk of his father with the guests who came to see his father. Until finally he knew Lucia's father was treated in a home.

Kelvin asks his father to take him with him when he visits the orphanage. It hurt her heart when she saw Lucia's father sitting in a wheelchair with such a dire condition. When Kelvin met Lucia's father seemed so calm but he had trouble remembering the incident because of the severe trauma he had.

"When I saw your father again, he said to me doubtfully that he missed his little family so much. Even he said he wanted to introduce you to me, but the problem happened and that he himself could not meet his daughter. Your father even showed me a picture of you he kept behind his pillow. I wanted to talk more but unfortunately your father's mental state suddenly deteriorated due to emotional overload." Kelvin explained.

"When and how did we first meet? I'm sure you're the one who can answer that." asked Lucia.

Kelvin looked at Lucia. Of course, even Kelvin still vividly remembers what Lucia said the first time they met. At that time Lucia asked what Kelvin also wanted to ask Lucia.

"Are you okay?" kelvin answered in his heart. "That's the question I first heard from you" he continued.
