CHAPTER 12 - Negotiation

Lucia who was already unable to dodge, frowned finding Mickey's face slowly getting closer to her. Even he could feel the breath of the bar-bar man that was getting furious at this moment. Lucia, who can't tolerate Mickey's madness, spontaneously returns to the raw bogem for the second time.

Mickey withstood Lucia's blow, locking her up until it was hard for Lucia to let go of her hand. "Why ? are you afraid I'm doing something to you ? Don't I have to prove it" Mickey said with a smile as if satisfied to tease Lucia.

Lucia returned Mickey's smile with an even sweeter smile, as if she had happily accepted Mickey's treatment. He just brought his face closer to 1cm again his nose will touch Mickey's nose. Mickey rolled his eyes feeling that something was wrong with the girl in front of him.

“Aw.....!!” mickey cried out in pain after Lucia hit him on the head landing, strongly attacking Mickey.

Mickey coughed after holding his breath because of Lucia's hand that was threatening his face.

“I can't imagine what would happen to Rayn if I forced myself to make this girl stay with her” Mickey said inwardly staring at Lucia's indecency.

“Back run the car, we can go to your cafe or anywhere like that crowded with people. At least I can discuss it with security there” Mickey ordered to Lucia while enduring the pain of her seduction.

"Is your head made of stone ?" he asked Mickey to see that Lucia did not look in pain.

Without a word Lucia continued to drive back, while Mickey was busy stroking his forehead. Lucia brought Mickey to a fast-food fried chicken restaurant. He just entered the restaurant leaving Mickey after parking his car. He sat in a chair close to the window and ordered a serving of fried chicken.

“Why did you bring me here instead of to the Cafe where you work?” mickey asked, looking around and sitting in the chair opposite Lucia.

“What is it important now ? I just need to finish our business and bring back Momo" he replied.

At first Mickey only responded by nodding, but hearing a unique name called Lucia made him curious all of a sudden.

“Momo ?” ask Mickey.

“Forget it, not important to know. Straight away, first what do you want to talk to me about ?” ask Lucia.

“Seat a little, even the food has not come yet. It's a pity that we've ended this discussion without spending it" Mickey replied.

Lucia responded with her sharp gaze making Mickey cringe and immediately spoke to the core of her goal of getting Lucia to speak.

"OK... OK.." chirped Mickey saw Lucia start clenching her hands on the table.

"Do you want to work with me?” mickey asked with a serious face.

“No !” lusia answered briefly while welcoming the food the waiter served to her.

“Did you just answer with your mind ? Even I have not told you what kind of work and how much salary I offer has not only played" said Mickey astonished by Lucia's brief rejection.

Lusia did not budge, he was even engrossed in himself eating fried chicken in front of him.

“You don't want to eat ? it's not you yourself who said it's a pity if you don't spend it?” lusia asked, pointing a chicken thigh at Mickey. Looks like a gesture asking Mickey to shut up or I'm gonna gag you.

“I will pay you 2x the salary you receive at the Cafe where you work now”, said Mickey casually by grabbing a piece of fried chicken and eating it.

“You did not ask first how much salary I have, making me suspicious of the job you will offer”, replied Lucia felt the smells were not right from Mickey.

“I don't need to know what your salary is, just double it enough to be able to complete this negotiation" Mickey felt challenged by Lucia's doubts.

“How ?” mickey asked about Lucia's decision.

“It looks like you found the wrong person, I'm not interested. Let's just say I'm a Loyal person with my job at Cafe” replied Lusia again eating her chicken.

“Alright, 3x fold“ chirped Mickey with a cynical smile believing that Lucia would definitely be tempted.

Hearing that, Lucia was shocked in her heart, her eyes were gulped. He did not believe what he had just heard. But he could not just trust the person who did not know him.

"If you don't want to spend it, you can go" Lucia replied showing that she really wasn't tempted."

"Haisttt. you stubborn girl. OK 4x Fold" said Mickey still does not want to give up.

"OMG.. 4x Fold !" lucy said in her heart.

“Your job is easy, just be a friend. Yeah, I think that sort of” Mickey continued.

“Friends ? Can being a friend be called a job ?" ask Lucia.

"Are you a lonely man ? You think friends can you just buy with money?“ then asked Lucia astonished by the strange work offered by Mickey.

“Do not conclude with such negatives. I don't know how to call it, it's just that you will also do a lot of other work later” Mickey replied. It is also difficult to describe the work for Lucia. He could think about it later, the most important thing right now for him was to get the girl for Rayn.

“I can't say it's like being his personal assistant because he also doesn't do anything in his daily life” continued Mickey knowing there's not much Rayn did at his Villanya other than painting and reading books.

“Explain to me first, what kind of job exactly ? you're not gonna sell me to her, are you?“ ask Lucia cynically. He was actually tempted because the offer could help him raise a lot of money quickly so as to pay off his family's debt.

"Then." said Lucia.

"I'll explain before about Rayn's condition, because you'll be working with her. The incident that night was not a strange attitude or something from Rayn, it was because he suffered from Hephepobia” said Mickey seriously with a heavy tone of reality that must be conveyed.

“Haphepobia ?” ask Lucia.

“One type of phobia where she can't accept touch from others, no one can touch her. Feelings of anxiety, panic, tightness even worse can be unconscious if he overextends himself. That's what he's going through, as you saw that night" Mickey continued.

“Then why could I touch it that night?” tanya Lucia did not believe what Mickey said.

“That's what I'm also looking to find out” Mickey replied.

“Do you have any special conditions? or special rules?. Even he did not have any reaction against me back then” said Lucia.

“I also could not confirm anything about it before I discussed it with his family Doctor. I still don't have any plans with this other than getting you involved” Mickey replied.

“You agree ?” ask Mickey excitedly.

“Fix you're crazy” said Lucia rose from her seat intending to go to the cashier.

“I'm serious“ said Mickey held Lucia by pulling a piece of his shirt that he had achieved.

Lucia stopped her footsteps, let out a long sigh releasing Mickey's hand and sat back down.

“You think I'm going to comply with your silly request by staying with him ?” ask Lucia firmly.

“At least he has one person who can always be at his side. And right now, you're the only one who can do it. Together without feeling anxiety and not having to keep your distance will make it more comfortable” Mickey explained with a waving face.

“No one feels comfortable staying with a stranger” Lucia said denying Mickey's statement.

“I know, you're also gonna be a little crazy, but I kind of have a wish to meet you. You're quite the friend who's always been there for her. He never seemed to feel lonely but I couldn't see him for a lifetime alone. That's why I need you to be with him. I hope slowly you can help her overcome her Haphepobi." Mickey tries to convince Lucia.

“Did he not undergo treatment or some kind of therapy ?“ ask Lucia.

“There's another reason why he didn't do it, I can't say now but sooner or later you'll also comply later" Mickey replied.

“Why should I stay there, can't I just do it from morning to afternoon so the rest of me can work at Cafe ?” tanya Lucia tried to bid for her job.

“I don't understand what makes it difficult for you to give up your work at the Cafe, but Ok I will pay you extra 5x fold but leave all your work behind. How ?” Mickey raises his offer so that Lucia can fully work with him.

“Hah, that's how easy you are to talk about money, don't you plan to trick me and lock me up as a prisoner there ?” ask Lucia.

"I told you I'm not kidding, it's also about my life and death” Mickey replied reassuring Lusia.

“Then what did you do for him ?“

"I did a job you couldn't do, and vice versa. As you know I can't touch either, but it's different with you. And the reason why I asked you to stay is because it takes too much time if she needs you all of a sudden. So I beg you to help me" Mickey tried to explain to Lucia not to misunderstand.

“We can make a valid contract letter in the eyes of the law and I release you have your own terms there. If it's best for both why not” Mickey replied.

"Give me your phone." Mickey grabs Lucia's hand and attaches Lucy's finger to Lusia's screenlock. He took it forcibly after the Lock Screen opened and immediately dialed his phone number to make a call.

“Think, I won't force you to give an answer now, but I hope you don't refuse. You can call me at that number”, Mickey said, returning Lucia's phone.

“Does he know this ?” ask Lucia.

“Surely he doesn't know it yet, you know for yourself how he helped me blindly because of last night. Maybe he will refuse but I will take care of it, at least you want to help me” Mickey replied.

Although still curious about other things and want to ask more deeply, Lucia decided to end it because the most important thing first was the decision to accept it or not. He told Mickey he would think about it. Lucia said goodbye to Mickey after paying the cashier.

“I hope with your presence can help him to be able to live a normal life like we” Mickey's last request when Lucia will open the door to get out.

“Please think about it..” he said again.
