CHAPTER 63 - Fireworks

Amid Rayn's bustle with Lucia, Lusia's phone keeps ringing with video calls coming in from Reisa. Lucia answered him and stood up to the bookshelf, slightly away from Rayn.

“Hya...Lussia !!” Shouted Reisa in a call. “Why didn't you tell me about what happened at the Cafe?” reisa asked with an annoyed face.

Lucia could only apologize to Reisa for worrying her. “I'm sorry” he replied.

“Let me see it” command Reisa who wants to see Lucia's wound. That's why he made a video call.

“Really, I'm fine. Don't worry” said Lucia showed a glimpse of her bandaged hand.

"What's that bad?" reisa asked to look at the bandage that wrapped Lucia's hand. "It must have hurt a lot. It feels like I want to tear apart the woman who attacked you" Reisa said, showing her furious face.

"I know you're a bar sometimes, but don't waste your time on people like that. I'm fine and we don't have to discuss the incident anymore" Lucia said.

“I'm sorry. Dave said you were taking a leave of absence. What if during the holidays you stay at the boarding house, I'll take care of you. And while you're off, what if we take a walk to the beach? Don't worry, I won't make you tired. You just bring yourself, let me and David prepare all” with Reisa. He wanted to comfort Lucia and bring her to refreshing, forgetting everything that happened at the Cafe.

“Pantai?” rayn asked a glance at Luisa who was still in a video call with Reisa. “Beach, can not” further said Rayn forbid Lucia to accept the offer. Buta sin he returned to focus on turning his fairy tale book when Lucia glanced at him because of his true origin.

“Who was it?” ask Reisa.

“Ahhh. Don't need to be heard. About staying at the boarding house during the holidays, I'm sorry, I can't. And about the streets to the beach I will consider” said Lucia with back military Rayn.

Lucia discussed many things with Reisa, her best friend. Reisa missed Lucia so much, it was seen from her spoiled attitude and language to Lucia. Lucia could not comply with Reisa's request to stay at the boarding house during her leave of absence from the Cafe, as she still had the responsibility of working for Rayn.

“Why did you answer?” tanya Lucia approached Rayn after finishing her call with Reisa.

“Did you forget? You're hurting and that's why you took a break from the cafe for a break. To is.. ti. rahat! But now you're going to the beach?” ask Rayn back by closing the book.

Lucia put on a serious face, she felt that something was wrong. “It looks like something needs to be straightened. Why speak as if I took advantage of my cut. First, I told Kelvin that I refused to take leave because of this injury, and I decided to take a leave that was my right. Because I don't want to be considered an excuse or spoiled. So, what will I use for and where it is not the business of the company” replied Lucia.

“I still won't let you go with your current condition” Rayn said.

“Hyaaa..." said Lucia whining mixed with annoyance. "I'm very grateful but this is too much. I just had an injury on my hand and it wasn't a broken bone. I didn't hurt my leg, head or anything. This is not a wound that makes me unable to walk or until I can not move. Most importantly, I can still breathe. Why is everyone acting like I won't be able to do much because of this wound. I'm also confused why you bandaged the bandages should be this wide?” asked Lucia by thrusting her hand. “If people see this, they think I'm having a severe injury” he continued.

“Are you done?” rayn asked after hearing Lucia's long words which contained all just complaints.

“Journey to the beach is too far, it will be tiring. If you just want a BBQ party, why not hold it in the Villa yard, I guess it's not too bad.” Rayn suggested on personal grounds that at Villa it would be easier for him to supervise Lucia.

“At this Villa? You certain? We can do it at this Villa?” asked Lucia who did not believe what Rayn had just said.

Rayn answered with a nod. "Why not" he said.

Lucia was still reassuring about what Rayn had just decided. “I will do it with many people, there is Raisa, David, Dave, Nara and of course I will also invite Kelvin. They will all come here, to your villa. Are you kidding me? allow me to bring others to this Villa?” ask Lucia to make sure again if Rayn is not just the origin of the talk.

“Do you think the janitors below are my family?” rayn asked which means if the janitors are also strangers to him. But he still brought it into the Villa.

“Ahh, you're right. I think it's a good idea too, but what about you?” ask Lucia.

“Don't worry about me, there's a painting I have to finish. So you can focus on your friends. Since I can't join, I'll help you prepare everything instead. You just have to enjoy it” said Rayn.

Lucia finally agrees with Rayn's advice, deciding to have a bbq party with her best friend Reisa and some of her closest friends. Reisa also initially does not believe what Lucia said if Rayn allows it willingly.

Reisa finally agreed, because he was also very curious about the figure of Rayn and Villa who lived in Lucia. They finally decided to do a bbq night on the weekend, rather tomorrow.

Early in the morning Lucia was already startled by Arka who was busy with a few people in the Villa courtyard. Arka is given the responsibility by Rayn to set up additional lighting, including a campfire and all that is needed including a chef who will help them.

“Chef?” ask Lucia to Arka.

“True, Young Master Rayn appointed one of the best bbq restaurant chef. So Miss Lucia need not worry because they are the ones who will prepare it for Miss Lucia and the others” replied Arka.

“What's interesting if in the end we just have to eat Lusia's groused”.

It was getting late in the afternoon, a courier came to deliver a package for Lucia. He saw if the package was in a message by Mickey. After the confirmed package was received, Mickey soon sent a message to Lucia.

[I heard you guys were having a BBQ party, sorry if I couldn't come along. I hope my package can represent and enliven your night mood. Have fun - Mickey]

Mickey sent a package containing fireworks that are expected to add more beautiful atmosphere.

Not long after David's car came. Not only David and Reisa, but also Dave and Nara come with them. Kelvin couldn't attend because he was out of town on business. Lucia deliberately did not invite other colleagues because she just wanted to be with the people closest to her. He also only chooses the people he believes to come to Villa, because it will be about Rayn's whereabouts.

Lucia accidentally asks Nara to come, as she believes Nara is a good girl. He also wants to help Dave and Nara.

"Waaah.it's amazing. Are we in a fairyland?” reisa said as she got out of the car. He was amazed by the large Villa Rayn and the spacious courtyard. Even now the yard is filled with all the bbq preparations including the bonfire.

Lucia immediately welcomed their arrival. He received a cake parcel that Resia brought for him. “You don't have to bother” said Lucia.

“So far away Lucy lives here?” cut Dave.

“I only work here, what you see and everything that is being prepared, belongs to the owner of this Villa who is none other than my current boss. Haha” Laughter Lucy.

“But, isn't that too much? All of that just for the five of us? Did he also bring in the chef there?” tanya Nara pointed at a Chef who was busy preparing.

They all looked amazed by the luxury of the great Villa Rayn. “Then where is he?” reisa asked following Lucia who went to the kitchen.

“He was busy painting, upstairs” Lucia replied by taking out the cake from Reisa.

“So, he won't join us?” asked Reisa who was very curious about Rayn's figure. Lucia simply nodded while busy cutting the cake.

“What he did not overdo, even he did not welcome our arrival. At least to say hello” chirps Reisa.

Lucia stopped the cut. “Reisa, you know why he didn't do it” Lucia replied.

“Ahh, you're right. I'm sorry, I forgot that” said Reisa who already knew Rayn's condition.

They finally started a bbq event with great joy in the Villa courtyard. Decorated lighting lamps coupled with the warmth of the campfire further add to the beauty of their night.

Lucia occasionally turned to the balcony of the 2nd floor, she felt that tonight was still incomplete without Rayn. He also did not have to let Rayn alone when he and his friends held a party prepared by Rayn. Lucia put the claw in her hand, and she finally decided to meet Rayn. Lucia tells Resia to enter Villa for a while, he tries to persuade Rayn to join.

Lucia had arrived in front of the painting room. “Rayn, are you sure you don't want to join us?” lucy asked after knocking on the door.

Rayn opened the door. “Don't worry about me, have fun with them” Rayn replied.

Lucia extended her hand to Rayn. “You can hold it for there” said Lucia.

Rayn looked at Lucia's hand and smiled. “I'm fine. After all it will make them misunderstand and will make you uncomfortable” said Rayn.

“Hya.. if you discuss time at the Cafe, it was because it was very crowded. But now I'm serious, you can hold my hand and we can go with” said Lucia.

“There's work I need to finish. Don't worry and come back, they must be waiting for you” Rayn refused.

“Alright..” replied Lusia shriek and then went back.

Lucia is finally back to enjoying a bbq party without Rayn. Although the simple party was only done with a few of his closest friends, but they seemed very happy and enjoyed it very much.

Many things they do, sing together, play simple games, even share stories of the past. Dave & Nara can not be separated from the bullying of Reisa and Lucia who really expect the two to be in a relationship later.

The evening's event ended with a fireworks display that Lucia got from Mickey. The fireworks are ready to be lit by Dave. Lucia asks Dave to hold off, then he grabs her phone to call Rayn. Although Rayn could not join them, at least Rayn could enjoy the fireworks.

Lucia made a call with Rayn.

“Why?” rayn asked, answering Lucia's call.

“You can get out?” ask Lucia.

“I told you, I'm fine” Rayn said.

“No, you don't need to go down, just you go to the balcony reading room now” Lucia orders in a phone call.

Lucia waits for Rayn and gives Dave a cue to turn it on just as Rayn comes out and is seen on the balcony.

“Now?” ask Rayn.

“Eeemm, now” replied Lucia.

Rayn finally put down her brush and went out to the balcony while keeping the phone call on. “What are you going to do?” rayn asked as he opened the glass balcony door.

Daarr.....!!! Dar....!

Rayn was shocked by the fireworks. The sheen of beauty it produced, had bewitched the eyes of all of them. The sound that echoed in the sky, followed by the beautiful sparks of colorful light that broke and sprinkled added to the romantic atmosphere of the night.

“Long right?" lusia asked with a look at Rayn who was standing on the balcony. "Although you are there, but we can still enjoy it with” said Lucia who is still in a phone call with Rayn. He smiled at Rayn by waving his hand.

“Stop..!! Can I stop him” Rayn's orders with a soft tone of voice.

Rayn, who had initially enjoyed it, suddenly changed. The sound and sparkling fireworks began to tease the contents of Rayn's head. Unlock the memories that brought him back that night. A fragment of past clips that occurred on the night of the deadly accident endlessly emerged as fireworks glowed.

Rayn's mind became chaotic, her body instantly suffocating. He who began helplessly tried to reach the glass fence in front of him to survive supporting his body which when he felt like he was about to collapse.

“Rayn, are you okay?” lusia asked, looking at Rayn as if she was in pain with occasional squeezing of her head. Not long after Rayn went inside.

Lucia immediately ran into the Villa while the others enjoyed the fireworks that Dave kept lighting.

"Rayn .. Rayn…." Lucia tried to push the door password by continuing to call Rayn who no longer answered her in a phone call that was still active.
