CHAPTER 45 - Misunderstood

Today was supposed to be a holiday for Lusia working at the Cafe. However, he still has to keep working in place of the shif when he took permission a few days ago to keep Rayn.

Lusia worked on getting a morning shif, she had woken up early to be able to prepare breakfast for Ryan. With her eyes still dimmed she went in the kitchen. Although not entirely the life of Lucia collected from her sleep, Lucia's eyes immediately led to the Rice Box on the dining table. Lucia approached and picked up the blue note paper attached to the food box.

[I asked Mickey to bring it to me when he picked me up. I have business with him. Finish your breakfast]

Lucia smiled at the unusual sight of Rayn. One thing Rayn had never done before was to prepare the breakfast that Lucia was supposed to do for Ryan. “What's with him today. Did he make a mistake?” tanyanya opened the food box. He took a cell phone and took a picture of it and sent it to Rayn.

[I don't know what this means, but thank you. I'll spend it]

The message has been sent by Lucia. He prepares to eat it, but soon Lucia remembers something and grabs her phone back to send Rayn a message again.

[I don't know what your business is with Mickey. But, be careful and call me if anything happens]

The message Lucia had sent to Rayn, and she proceeded to eat the breakfast Rayn had prepared for her.

Rayn is currently on her way to a fishing village along with Mickey and Arka. Rayn who received the message from Lucia smiled after reading it. "When he stopped being suspicious of me" Ryan murmured in a message from Lucia discussing the intent of his act of preparing breakfast.

“Mickey..., do we really have to do it?” rayn asked Mickey who was in the front seat. Rayn asks about the purpose of her current journey.

Mickey turned around with a rough sigh looking at Rayn who was sitting in the back seat. “We have traveled so far, Arka has been driving for us almost an hour and only half the journey we will arrive. And.... Suddenly you're just asking now?” ask Mickey. He felt that it was very unreasonable.

“Alright, we continue” replied Rayn briefly. He was lazy to argue long with Mickey. Rayn grabbed the headphones and put them on. He stared at the window ignoring Mickey who was still babbling at him.

When they reached their destination, Mickey got out of the car, followed by Arka who opened the door for Rayn. Rayn walks into a famous Seafood tavern with her Shellfish Soup menu. A simple shop that is currently closed.

“It's like I'm closing someone”'s rizky Rayn said staring at the CLOSE script hanging on the door of the store.

Rayn walked closer, but her steps stopped when she almost reached the door of the tavern. A middle-aged woman opened the door and came out with a bucket full of dirty water in her hand that she was about to throw away. The woman was similarly shocked by Rayn. Rayn immediately took a step back seeing the woman walking towards him.

Seeing Rayn avoiding the woman, Arka immediately ran up and stood in front of Rayn. While Mickey just finished the phone call he received since getting out of the car.

“Sorry, today we are not open because there will be important guests of our family. Maybe you can come back again tomorrow” said the woman politely to Arka and Rayn.

After hanging up the phone, Mickey realizes that Rayn is no longer in the car. He was surprised when he saw Ryan already standing in front of the store with Arka who was guarding Rayn from the middle-aged lung woman. Mickey rushes to them before the woman approaches Ryan.

“Auntie, it's us" cut Mickey. "I, this is me Mickey” he continued pointing to himself.

“Oh Nak Mickey, so they came up with Nak Mickey turned out to be” said the woman who only knew Mickey's face without Mickey's name memorized before. “Come in Nak” invite the woman to let them in.

“Nak..?” rayn asked whispered to the strange-looking Mickey with the call.

"At least it's a call I can still receive than before he kept calling me Mr at the beginning of the meeting" Mickey said, following the woman in.

The middle-aged woman tidied up the chair to let Ryan, Arka and Mickey sit down. “What is he Nak?” the woman asked Mickey by looking at Arka and Rayn.

“Oh you're right, he's Mr. Rayn. The boss where Lucia works and the person who has helped auntie finish her previous aunt's business” Mickey politely pointed to Rayn. Rayn had previously told Mickey not to call it debt. Mickey introduces Rayn as Boss Lucia and Arka as Rayn's bodyguard.

“Master?” ryan asked inwardly at Mickey. He was quite amused to hear Mickey calling him Master after a long time not hearing the call coming out of Mickey's mouth.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you Mr. Rayn. I am his mother Lucia” said the woman by extending her hand to greet Rayn. Rayn immediately dodged and took a step back so that made the woman silent for a moment to see Ryan's attitude. The woman gave permission for a while.

“Why should he take us to his shop rather than to his house?” rayn asked Mickey.

Not long after Lucia's mother came out, she looked after washing her hands. Lucy's mother returned with a washcloth and cleaned the chairs and tables for them to sit on. “Sorry Mr. Rayn, if I did not recognize you and intend to throw away the remaining water from the laundry, so a little smelly” he said apologizing considering Ryan refused to shake hands before.

Ryan was well aware that Lucia's mother had misunderstood her attitude earlier. “You don't need to do it” said Rayn began to open her voice to Lucy's mother. He asked Lucia's mother to stop cleaning tables and chairs for him.

“I am not a janitor and not a man who hates anything dirty or smelly” continued Rayn said politely looking at Lucy's mother who was still busy cleaning the table.

Mickey immediately approached Lucy's mother and grabbed the duster from her hand. “Mr Rayn's right, Aunty doesn't need to do it” Mickey said.

“I have no problem with you who just went to waste dirty water and please do not call me Sir. You can call me like him by name…. Na...k” continued Rayn said with doubt and shame.

“Sorry, has my attitude offended you? I just want to entertain you who have helped our family“ said Lucy's mother.

“May I sit.. Bi.bi?” asked Rayn with a smile. Lucy's mother nodded and immediately let Rayn sit down. Lucy's mother felt overwhelmed to hear Rayn also calling her aunt showed her the familiarity of the two.

"Auntie has misunderstood my attitude and I can understand that. I am not offended at all. I just...” said Rayn who stopped to take a breath before continuing.

“Begini bi...” cut off Mickey who tried to help Rayn explain the misunderstanding of Rayn's attitude earlier.

Not until Mickey finished, Ryan cut him off. “I just have a phobia problem that can't let others touch me and it makes me look very bad at socializing. The same is why I asked Auntie to close this shop while I was here. I have no other intention" Rayn continued.

“I'm sorry if you don't know and are insensitive to that Mr.. Oh sorry .. Nak” said Ms. Lucy who is still used to calling Rayn as Mr.

"Auntie doesn't need to apologize, because it's just a problem I have. Problems where myself can not help him” said Rayn. Rayn admitted that his weakness was what made him choose to always be at Villa.

Mickey just sat staring at Rayn's attitude. He smiled in amazement with the man who had opened up with the man and the adult. This is the first time Rayn has spoken about herself to anyone else after Lucia. And now that person is also Lucia's mother.

“Awhile I will get you a drink and prepare food for you. Sorry I don't know if it will come as soon as this” he got up and went straight to the kitchen.

Rayn and Mickey want to resist because they don't want to trouble Lucia's mother. But Lucia's mother had already left before they opened their voices. While waiting, Rayn stared at the entire store, her eyes suddenly stopping towards the back of the cashier. He smiled seeing a medium-sized picture frame hanging on the back wall of the cashier.

A small family photo of Lucia. It was seen that Lucia wearing a school uniform was standing in the middle by holding a bouquet of flowers in her hand. A photo that appears to have been taken during the graduation of Lusia school. She stood up as Mother, Grandma and Lucas were her sisters.

Mickey looked at Ryan and then looked in the same direction as Rayn. “It looks like a photo of Lusia school graduation time. She turned out to be adorable also when she was young” said Mickey.

“Only that?” ask Ryan.

Mickey starts thinking about something else Rayn might want to hear. “Eemmm. In the photo he looks very innocent and now he is very tempting” replied Mickey still by staring at the photo of Lucia.

Rayn who was sitting a little away from Mickey, frowned and crossed her arms looking at Mickey who said a seductive word.

Mickey turned to Rayn, he immediately closed his mouth which would have thrown another compliment about his view on the beauty of Lucia. But Rayn's sharp gaze made him immediately lock his lips.

“Didn't you remember it either?” ask Ryan.

"What should I remember?” mickey asked back, he didn't understand Rayn's question.

Rayn breathed. “It seems like I'm alone to remember the incident” Rayn muttered softly when she saw Rayn's mother coming with food in her hand. Rayn stops her conversation with Mickey and smiles at Lucy's mother and asks Arka to help her.
