CHAPTER 148 - The Dusk

The Friends Cafe...

Today Lucia is quite busy with Cafe activities that are crowded visitors. No matter how busy, Lucia can always finish her job well.

"Who do you expect not to get bored?" kelvin suddenly surprised Lucia.

Lucia was surprised because Kelvin suddenly appeared from behind without a sign. Lucia did not answer the question but she instead asked Kelvin about his plan to go abroad.

Kelvin asked Lucia to sit down for a moment because there was something she wanted to convey. By chance, Lucia's shift just ended.

Kelvin said that in this week he will go abroad for a very long time for work. From now on Kelvin will focus on pursuing his career.

Kelvin wanted to talk elsewhere because he did not want to make Lusia uncomfortable sitting together in front of his coworkers. But, maybe this is better if they are in a place where many eyes are looking to avoid misunderstandings that could happen.

While Lucia and Kelvin seemed comfortable conversing together, the bell hanging from the door rang, indicating a customer was coming. Lucia was about to stand up from her seat because she had to welcome the customer. But Kelvin held him back, he asked other staff to do it because it was no longer Lucia's working hours.

Lucia who sat back to the door half-standing sat back at Kelvin's behest. Kelvin needs Lucia's time for just a little while, because Kelvin is afraid that there will be no other opportunity for them to talk to each other before he goes abroad.

The first thing Kelvin wants to tell you is about the case of Lucia's father. Although Kelvin will be gone for a very long time, but Lucia does not need to worry because she has taken care of everything. Kelvin has sent a personal nurse to Lucia's father. The more Lusia feels burdened, Kelvin will also feel burdened and guilty. "Everything I do is purely sincere from my heart. But, if you feel overwhelmed by it, then what should I do, I'll just feel sad" Kelvin explained.

Lucia apologized for making Kelvin sad. Lucia asks Kelvin not to worry about it. Lucia said she might one day stop working, but it's not now. For now, Lucia asks Kelvin to allow himself to help Kelvin keep the Friends Cafe, if the time comes later he will say goodbye to stop.

"If that time comes, don't you ever dare to ban me! " threaten Lucia in her candle.

Kelvin smiled at it. "One more thing, can you tell him?" kelvin asked Lucia.

Lucia seemed confused as to who Kelvin meant and what he wanted to say.

"He is Rayn, your husband. Tell him my thanks."

Lucia doesn't understand what makes Kelvin have to say thank you to Rayn. During this time Kelvin and Rayn very rarely meet let alone share something that makes them have to thank each other.

"Everyone, thank you to him for everything."

What Rayn said when she met Kelvin that night made Kelvin realize one thing. Rayn was right, if the feeling she had for Lucia all along was not love. Therefore Kelvin felt that he had no right to expect the love from Lucia. Kelvin felt very guilty because he only gave a burden that he could not account for.

Kelvin did not give a clear answer to Lucia. He only said things that Lucia did not understand. "I think he loves you very much. Look, now he can be very calm like a real man. Lucia knocked on the table three times to turn Kelvin's gaze. "I don't understand, you're talking to me like I'm Rayn in front of you"

"He's here." replied Kelvin.

Lucia turned her head towards the eyes Kelvin was looking at now. He glanced towards the entrance that was behind Lucia sitting down. Lucia's eyes instantly widened to see a man sitting alone there, and the man was now throwing a smile at her.

"When was he there?" lusia asked spoke to herself with a look of disbelief at this sudden situation.

"Since we sat together, since the orange sky began to change with the night sky. From that moment on he didn't let go of his gaze" Kelvin said.

Lucia complained why Kelvin didn't tell her that Rayn was sitting there. Rayn is a customer that Lucia wants to welcome but is detained by Kelvin.

Kelvin asks Lucia to go see Rayn because there is nothing else she wants to talk about.

"This is the second time I've said it. Go, because he must have been very waiting for you" said Kelvin then also stood up.

Lucia was ready to meet Rayn. Lucy doesn't think Rayn will come. Lucia approached Rayn and asked her why the data was to the Cafe. Rayn does not come to pick him up while Lucia brings her own vehicle.

Rayn said she was bored and wanted to see Lucia soon. Lucia said that she could not leave the cafe immediately. Even though his working hours were over, there was still work in the kitchen that he had delayed earlier.

Lucia asked Rayn to wait for him for a while longer because it would not take long. But not unexpectedly if the Cafe suddenly crowded the arrival of visitors, Lucia asked Rayn to wait for him at the VIP table in the room.

"Please wait a minute, OK" said Lucia.

From a distance Kelvin sees how Lucia is trying to take care of Rayn.

"Now I understand what kind of destiny they have. And this time I sincerely wish you both happiness. Especially your happiness, Lucia."
