CHAPTER 50 - Happy with My Suffering

Increasingly understanding Rayn's condition, Lucia begins to take small steps by helping Rayn open up to the outside world. Even if his efforts are not able to help Rayn's recovery, but Lucia wants if Rayn can see and enjoy the beauty of the world without having to always lock herself in Villa.

Although Rayn has decided to give up her social life for the rest of her life, Lucia still wants to change that view from Rayn. After seeing Rayn's suffering and psychic torment, Lucia cannot close her eyes and let Rayn choose her own path. Lucia will do whatever she can for Rayn, because that's why she's working with Rayn.

It was morning, as usual Lucia prepared breakfast for Rayn. Today Rayn does not do any activities, she does not even do her routine of exercise and also does not touch her breakfast. Ryan was still sleeping in his room.

Lucia was busy in her own room preparing some equipment. As he exited the room, Lucia saw Arka coming down from the 2nd floor with a tray filled with empty bowls and glasses. “Did he finally finish his breakfast?” ask Lucia. Arka just nodded followed by a smile then continued stepping into the kitchen.

Lucia returned to her room, she immediately packed some of the items she had broken into a cardboard box. He then took her to the 2nd floor. “Can I help Miss Lucia?” asked Arka from the kitchen who saw Lucia carrying the box herself so that she could not see the stairs.

“Not necessary, it's okay. I can do it” replied Lusia by still trying to climb one by one stairs with great care.

Arka could not help herself, she immediately walked ahead of Lucia. “Sorry if I force, but let me help” he said by taking the box by force from the hands of Lucia.

“Do you want to take him to the painting room of Young Master Rayn?” asked Arka who was walking in front of him.

“Oh no, please take it to Rayn” room replied Lucia.

Upstairs, Lucia immediately precedes Arka and goes knocking on Rayn's bedroom door. Lucia opened it after knocking. Rayn very rarely locked the door of his room, but instead he put extra security for the painting room by installing a door password.

Arka put the box on the floor, he told Lucia who was still inside. After Arka came out and closed the door for her, Lucia immediately took out some items from the Box. Among them are handkerchiefs, umbrellas, bucket hats, masks, glasses and many others.

"What are you doing?” ryan asked who had woken up. He had been silently staring at Lucia who was behind him busy with what she was doing.

Lucia was surprised, she immediately turned to look at Rayn who was already sitting on her bed. “Good if you're awake. I am preparing combat equipment for the 2”th Mission, Lucia said, brandishing her umbrella and hat.

Ryan frowned, thinking about what the girl would do with the stuff in her hand. Even to have to dismantle everything like to open a stall. “Fighter equipment 2nd Mission?” rayn asked with his arms crossed.

Lusia smiled innocently. “haha, we will go to the Park today. So, I need all of this” the answer.

“What do you mean taking me to the Park is your 2nd Mission?” ask Rayn.

“Emm. But, because the Park will be more full of people, so I prepared this all” replied Lucia.

“Payung, to protect us if there is a surprise attack when you can not rise” he said by showing himself squatting and shelter under the umbrella.

“Hats, glasses and gloves, for you to wear” he continued by showing Rayn.

“And...“ Not until Lucia finished her words, Rayn had already cut.

“And you're gonna bring all this and then ask me to wear it while going to the park?” rayn asked astonished and disbelievingly. Lucia simply replied with a quick nod.

“You think I'm doing a monkey mask show?” ask Rayn.

“Not me saying it well, but you yourself!” answer Lucia. “already, be prepared, I will wait for you below, OK” he continued and left Rayn's room.

“That girl..., did she just rule me?” rayn grumbled with a scratch on his head.

Rayn finally followed Lucia's request. They finally went to the Garden accompanied by Arka. Arriving at the park, Arka first got out of the car and opened the door for Lucia and Rayn.

Lucia gets off the car, followed by Rayn. Lucia held an umbrella still covered in her hand and a Tote bag containing the equipment she had prepared for Rayn. When Rayn got off the car, Lucia pulled out her glasses and put them on Rayn. Like the scene of the Sultan accompanied by an assistant and his bodyguard.

Rayn felt very uncomfortable wearing glasses from Lucy, she took off the glasses and put them on top of the hat. He took a deep breath looking at the crowd in the garden.

“You ready?” lusia asked by extending her hand to Rayn. Rayn confidently grabbed onto Lucia's hand and was ready to step up. But the procession of a sultan suddenly broke when a ball accidentally thrown by a small child towards them. As in the drama, like a procession accompanied by melodious music, then suddenly slowly the music changed like a broken cassette.

Rayn stared at the small ball rolling at her feet. “Gray…. Pursue the ball” shouted the boy with a dinosaur doll in his hand, he ran over to Rayn.

Hearing that shout, Rayn who had already picked up the ball immediately stared intently at the child who was running towards him. His eyes are getting rounder. “No... no... no what will it do?” rayn panicked as the boy got closer. Rayn spontaneously threw away the ball and shifted to hide behind Lucia.

Arka quickly put the body in front of Lusia to block the little boy who was too close. “Uncle, why did you throw that ball?” asked the boy innocently after seeing Rayn throw away hers earlier.

“Gray... Bite him!” the boy shouted with a roar mimicking the sound of the dinosaurs approaching Rayn.

Realizing that, Ryan immediately let go of Lusia's hand and ran away. Lucia follows after Rayn. “Rayn quiet Rayn” shouted Lucia. Arka runs away to protect Rayn.

The little boy continued to chase after him because he felt that Ryan's response was running as if he agreed to play with him. The boy looked happy and kept on roaring as if the dinosaur doll in his hand was chasing prey. They really looked like a child playing romp with his father and uncle. Who knows if it turns out the man dodged and ran away for fear of being touched.

Arka seems to have trouble protecting Rayn, as Rayn continues to move back and forth left right avoiding the boy and keeping a distance from him. "Arka... stop that kid!!" rayn orders with a shout.

"Young Rayn's people have to stop first" replied Arka.

"Gray.. go after him Gray.." said the boy excitedly.

Lucia asks Rayn to run towards her. "Why am I like being the Baby Sister of the three of them" he grumbled as he approached Rayn.

The boy was crying hysterically with his eyes cut open, Lucia was confused, she helped the boy stand up and calmed him down. “Arka what is

you did?” ask Lucia to Arka.

“I have no other choice Miss Lucia” replied firmly.

Rayn looked very exhausted. With an irregular breath he called for Lucia. The boy was then taken over by Arka. Arka helped clean the boy's pants that were dirty because of the fall earlier.

Lucia approached Rayn, she grabbed Ryan's hand and held him back. He led her to approach the boy. Rayn held onto Lucia's hand increasingly tightly. "What are you doing?" rayn asked to see Lucia who actually invited him to approach the child.

Lucia smiled and nodded her head giving a sign that everything would be fine. Look at Rayn

unwilling to move again, Lucia finally relented, she squatted down to compensate for the child's establishment.

“See... Giant uncle who will be.

gray's prey has admitted defeat and no longer strong run let alone run away. Brother has helped catch him” said Lucia tried to comfort the child until the mother came and apologized if it was troublesome. She also thanked him for accompanying her son to play. Lucia simply replied with a smile.

Lucia then took Rayn away and sat down on a wooden chair in the deserted Park of the crowd. While Arka stood not far from them.

Lucia laughed amusedly remembering what happened just now. Rayn is still trying to catch her breath. Lucia took out Mineral Water from her bag for Rayn.

“What did the boy do?” rayn asked not to believe the napa he had just experienced.

Lucia with still a small laugh replied “But she looks very happy and happy” he replied.

“Above my suffering ???” sahut Ryan's. Lucia is laughing.

Lucia stopped her laughter when she saw Rayn's annoyed face. He then looked at the little children who were playing in the park. “I am so

want to return to being children” he said with a smile.

“If the time can be turned back, I really hope to return to that time” said Rayn.

“I see why you so badly want to go back to that time. But, you also have to look forward in order to continue living” said Lucia.

“Hell just knows how to please yourself by continuing to play and feel free. Without thinking about how difficult it is to survive the adult's task. Fun isn't it?” ask Lucia.

“You're right it's a lot of fun, but those times don't apply to me.” Answer

Rayn.

“I know, but you can still enjoy your youth right now. Eemm... can I still mention we're young?” lusia asked herself with a face that was thinking hard. Rayn just smiled at him.

Rayn then glanced at the hand that was still held by Lucia. “You are right, even now you are enjoying that time. Are we dating now?” rayn asked by showing his hands which were still tightly grasped by Lucia even though they were currently safe.

Realizing that, Lucia suddenly let go of her hand. Her face is red

deeply embarrassed, he does not realize that he has not yet taken Rayn's hand off. He stood up "What date??? I honestly didn't realize it. Why are you just keeping quiet?? Perhaps it was you who really enjoyed it" Lucia replied.

Rayn simply smiled at Lucia's chattering. He stood up to grab Lucia's hand and held her back.

"What are you doing?" ask Lucia.

"What else, as you said, I just continue to enjoy it" he said and walked first by holding Lucia's hand.

Lucia was already so embarrassed by Rayn's innuendo, she hit him on the head repeatedly. "What the hell do you think of Lucia" he grumbled.

Rayn stopped her steps and turned around, she held back the hand of Lucia who was still about to hit her head. "Stop hurting yourself and do not need to be ashamed, we are used to holding hands, even though you will never take it off I do not matter" said Rayn who actually made Lucia's face reddened.

"Already, let's go home" Rayn walked back. "What mission do you say failed again this time? asked Rayn with a smile.

" I don't know. "answered Lusia.

They ended up walking together back to the car by staying hand in hand. Rayn continued to open up small talk to get Lucia back to feeling comfortable.
