CHAPTER 83 - Not Your fault

Mickey immediately helps Lucia to bring Rayn to her room. Dr. Leona immediately injects a sedative and Rayn falls asleep. Dr. Leona and Rayn go downstairs to talk to Mr. Charles, while Lucia keeps Rayn in her room.

In Rayn's room, Lucia didn't stop shedding tears as she looked at the lying Ryan with her hands constantly clasped.

“I don't want you to delay or stall again. Mickey, tell Rayn that her mother's birthday is approaching, and my decision on the painting exhibition is final. If he doesn't want me to disturb his mother's painting then it's time he removed the Lotus” mask Mr. Charles ordered to Mickey.

“Mr Charles, can't you postpone the exhibition of his paintings?” ask Mickey.

“Just do as I say" replied Mr. Charles.

Mr. Charles asked his assistant to prepare a car to leave the Villa. Dr. Leona bowed to Mr. Charles, who stepped out, while Mickey accompanied Mr. Charles to his car.

“What's with him? didn't he just look beaten up and empathized with Rayn? Why did he suddenly again decide to continue pushing and suppressing his son?" grunts Dr. Leona told Mickey who had just returned to the Villa.

“Aren't you the one who should be more expert at assessing his nature and behavior? Why are you even asking me “ Mickey said.

"I said it after taking off my medical cape" said Dr. Leona's upset.

"I don't know what's going on with you two, why he's waiting for you to say it and you're waiting for him to find an answer on his own. Isn't this too ridiculous while you can fight together to uncover the facts?" sahut Dr. Leona looked furious.

“What do you mean? Is there something you found in hypnotherapy?" ask Mickey. He began to look at Dr. Leona with a serious face.

"Rayn lost his phone in the accident and for him it was natural that he lost it. Maybe the phone was destroyed and couldn't get it back. But in the end Rayn knew you kept it, she still didn't want to have bad thoughts on you for that she didn't ask why you could have it and still keep it. Initially for Rayn the phone only brings bad memories and does not have any influence even with you keep it. Although curious but he will only wait for you until you tell him yourself" said Dr. Leona.

Dr. Leona doesn't want to suspect or accuse Mickey, but she has no recourse but to let Mickey know what's really going on.

“Why are you asking the question that I should be the one who asked him that?” asked Rayn who was standing between the stairs.

Lucia who was asleep while keeping Rayn awake, she realized that Rayn was no longer in her room. He immediately ran out of the room looking for Rayn. He sees Rayn coming down the stairs with a serious face talking to Mickey.

"Rayn, I don't know" Mickey said.

"There's something I want to ask you about Mickey. That night, on the night of the accident, weren't you supposed to be treated at home? That's why I'm the one who went in your place to go to that celebration. But, did you leave the house and go somewhere?" ask Rayn.

"I.." Mickey replied, stopping his words.

"When I made a video call to show you the fireworks, I saw you in the car. You seem to be on your way, don't you?" rayn asked, getting closer to Mickey.

With a face that still looks pale Rayn approached Mickey with a surprising question. Mickey was still speechless looking at Rayn who was walking towards him. Lucy and Dr. Leona was also silent to look at the two, waiting for Mickey's answer to the question posed by Rayn.

"Did you go to the festival too? Did you come and be on the scene back then?" tanyanya.

"Rayn.." call Lucia inwardly looking at Rayn.
