CHAPTER 136 - Secrets Without Me

Now Rayn felt relief more than what Lucia felt. Lucia no longer had to keep the burden of Kelvin's feelings for her. "Are you not hungry? How about we eat something before we go back to the villa?" ask Lucia when she wants to get to the car.

Rayn turned her head towards Lucia's stomach while raising an eyebrow and speaking inwardly, how Lucia was discussing food when they had just walked out of a restaurant. Rayn could accept if it was her who was feeling hungry, but what was possible if it was Lucia.

Rayn then asked if Lucia did not eat anything while in there while with Kelvin and hesitated Lucia nodded in confirming it. With a spoiled expression while touching her stomach Lucia said if she was very hungry.

Rayn stopped her steps and blocked Lusia's steps by standing right in front of her. "What did you guys do and talk about all that time until you didn't fill your belly?" ask Rayn. "Make me more restless" he continued.

Lusia laughing. "Anges? But why do I see if you look more upset" said Lucia.

Lucia ignores Rayn's annoyance and asks Rayn to take him somewhere. Lucia invites Rayn to eat her favorite Mozarella Corndog. Common snacks sold on the side of the road. With an adorable look on her face and a spoiled manner, Lucia pleaded with Rayn.

"Wahh, what should I do with this adorable face" Rayn said, looking at Lucia with a smile.

Rayn was about to pinch Lucia's cheek but she held it in, Rayn grabbed Lucia's hand and held her. Rayn of course he would not refuse Lucia's request and said if it did not matter where it was he would go for and be with his beloved wife.

The sky suddenly darkened with clouds that were gray in color. A cloud of cloudiness makes it difficult for the Sun's light to penetrate the thick cotton-like clouds. The blowing wind blew out the cold air, the water droplets from the sky slowly fell down on the earth. Lucia seemed to enjoy drizzling behind the glass of the car that Rayn was driving.

It does not take long to drive, both have arrived at a street that is always crowded with vendors of various types of suburban food. The drizzle had subsided the moment they got there, though Rayn asked Lucia to wear a coat and scarf because of the cold air. Rayn got out of the car and opened the car door for Lucia. Rayn held onto Lusia's hand with such a sweet grip. They walk along in rhythmic steps, enjoying the distinctive aroma of petrichor left by the rain until they arrive and stand right in front of the foodtruck.

Lucia seemed busy ordering, but suddenly Rayn's hand grabbed onto Lucia's shoulder and she slowly shifted her body. He shifted his wife's body to get closer to her when a pair of students in uniform suddenly stood so close right next to Lusia.

It was as if Rayn did not want the student to touch her woman when she saw the students seemed cool in joking around with a frenzy and could not keep quiet. Lucia turned her head and smiled towards Rayn, a sweet attitude that was so simple but made her so happy. Rayn's gaze shifted back to the focus of looking forward when she realized Lucia was looking at her, she then smiled to herself.

The corndog they ordered has been finished. Rayn first grabbed Lucia's Mozarella Corndog from the seller's Aunt's hand. Lucia stared fixedly at her Corndog that Rayn had taken as if confirming it was mine. Regardless of Lucia's gaze, Rayn slowly blew away the Corndog that was still emitting hot smoke. He continued to blow it before it was given to Lucia. "Be careful burning your lips" Rayn said, then gave it to Lucia.

Lucia grabbed him with a reddened face, Rayn's attitude further made her blush in embarrassment. Rayn then grabbed her Corndog. The two began to enjoy the simple snacks by keeping each other hand like a young couple full of romance that will make anyone jealous who saw it. Lucia smiled, with a greedy face she immediately ate her first bite so delicious.

"Waaa. this is so good. It is very suitable to enjoy it in cold weather like this" said Lucia turned to Rayn while continuing to chew.

Lucia really while enjoying it until not aware of the ketchup from the bite is still left lipped. Rayn smiled at how adorable his wife was. Rayn looked at Lucia's face with such a dazzling look and such a sweet smile.

"Why did you stop eating and look at me like that?" tanya Lucia reduced her chewing speed.

"Do you like her that much? Even leaving sauce on your lips" said Rayn.

Lucia panicked and felt that if it was so embarrassing, she immediately took off Rayn's hand to clean it. But unfortunately Rayn held her hand, she did not want to take it off when Lucia was about to take it off. Rayn was getting closer to looking at the two beads of Lucia's eyes, one of her hands was still holding onto Lucia's hand and one of hers was holding her Corndog.

Lucia asks Rayn to let go of her hand. "Rayn, I have to clean the bi.." said Lucia who stopped when she felt something that made her speechless.

Rayn brought her face closer, without warning she briefly kissed Lucia's lips and tasted the sauce that was lipped Lucia clean. "Rayn, what are you doing?" lusia asked as she moved her eyes flashing, glancing left-right

"I told you, I don't want to let go of my hand." said Rayn then without sin he again ate his Corndog and ignored Lucia who was still silent.

Lucia was completely helpless with Rayn's attack, she was bewitched the sweet kiss she had just obtained. Lusia could only blink repeatedly with her heart continuing to beat. Lucia started to grumble after regaining her consciousness, this was already the second time for today Rayn dipped her in a public place.

"Why do you keep attacking me without even giving me a sign" Lucia grumbled smacking Rayn's shoulder.

Corndog's aunt who saw their behavior laughed and asked Lucia not to be embarrassed. "You must be a newlywed couple. Rayn and Lusia's vehicle manages to catch the bus that Lucia's mother boarded. Ms. Lucia got off at a terminal and then continued to travel in a taxi. Rayn and Lucia followed the taxi again.

"Why are we following him, what's going on?" ask Rayn while driving.

Lusia's gaze remained focused forward, not even he answered Rayn's question. Lucia looked uneasy as if she had a lot of thoughts on her head. An unsettled face that made Rayn even more worried. "It's not like you don't trust your mother" Rayn said.

"I trusted him very much and wanted to always believe him, but this time my mother was obviously lying to me Rayn. Do I have to let myself keep believing those lies?" ask Lucia.

Rayn's one hand reached for Lucia's hand and grabbed her. "I just don't want any misunderstanding between you and your mother. Like I always believed in you, I will always be on your side. But, I will take one step standing in front of you when you feel confused and disoriented" Rayn said hoping to reduce Lucia's current anxiety.

As a husband, Rayn will of course always give full trust and be on his wife's side. But Rayn will also be a wise husband and a guide when Lucia starts to get confused or disoriented. After almost 30 minutes of driving, the taxi driven by the mother of Lucia stopped in a courtyard of such a large building. "This place is why you came here" said Lucia.

"You know this place?" ask Rayn.

"Did you forget? You also came here to pick me up when me and Kelvin did the Cafe charity" said Lucia then opened the door to get down and rushed in in in a hurry.

While passing through the information room, a female officer greeted him. "Sorry lady, where do you want to go?" ask a woman behind the information table.

Lucia looked nervous with a hunting breath. "I came with my mother, the pulmonary woman who just entered" Lucia replied. "And he's my husband" Lucia said as the female officer turned to look at Rayn.

"Oh Ny. Alenias. So you're Miss's daughter. Alenia" said the female officer.

Lucia smiled nodding then put on a face as if confused while pointing towards the left or right aisle. The woman immediately told Lucia. " Left hallway, room 503" he said to invite Lucia.

Lucia and Rayn continue their search for room 503. Yes, room 503. Now both are standing in front of room 503 which is a patient room.

Lucia peered inside through the small glass on the door. Lucia was so shocked to see who was inside, her mother was cleaning the arm of a man sitting in a wheelchair. A very familiar man sat down with appalling conditions. The man was a patient who not only suffered from mental problems but also a stroke that almost paralyzed 80% of his body. Lucia's body was immediately limp and almost fell. Rayn's two hands immediately grabbed onto Lucia's shoulders.

"No way, what really happened...?" lusia asked with quivering lips and eyes that started dropping tear circles.

With trembling hands and an increasingly limp body, Lucia tried to grasp the doorknob about to open it. However, from a distance came the sound of footsteps of a man calling out his name.

"Lusia...."

The man walked closer to Lucia, he then held back the hand of Lucia who was holding the door handle about to open. Lusia turned her head, looking clearly at the face of the man holding her hand.

"Kelvin....?" sahut Lucia with a full gaze asked why he was here.

"Can we talk before you meet him" Kelvin said.

"How did you get to know him?" ask Lucia.

How Kelvin was able to be there and forbid him to enter. What Kelvin knew about this situation that Lucia did not know. What is going on, what secrets he is hiding and why he is doing it. These questions that Lucia had in mind and were clearly implied behind the sharp glare of her teary eyes.
