CHAPTER 33 - Drunk

Kelvin and Lucia have arrived at a bbq restaurant that David meant. Inside, David was already sitting there and smiling at the arrival of the two. Lucy and Kelvin sit opposite David.

“You have come” greet David with a smile.

Kelvin and Lucia simultaneously only took a deep breath looking at David. The two looked at each other and then they looked back at David.

“What did Reisa show you?" ask Kelvin.

“Hust, keep your word” said Lucia by hitting Kelvin's shoulder immediately heard Kelvin's question.

“Then, let alone make it this way if it is not a matter of romance” Kelvin said looking at his best friend who was drunk.

“Why are you two here?" asked David with a plain pretentious face.

“Because you asked for it” Kelvin and Lusia replied simultaneously in a high tone to David.

“So, why are you showing off your affection when it comes to comforting me?” david asked with a grouchy face.

“Wah, his brain is really tilted. Where'd he get that friendly picture between us?” ask Lucia. “Already, don't just be quiet. Better immediately we return him back to his habitat” continued Lucia to Kelvin.

“He didn't even answer my call” chirped David in a serious tone then sipped a glass of booze.

Lucia just gawked at David without taking a sip until it ran out. Nor does he believe that the cause of David's drunkenness is really because of Reisa. Reisa is his best friend, Reisa is always open to him when it comes to his relationship with David. So, it was highly unlikely that he would know anything if something was going on with both of them.

“I will try to contact Reisa now” said Lucia grabbed her phone directly make a call.

But David immediately grabbed Lucia's phone “She.., he will not answer her” said David shaking his head repeatedly.

“Why you, I have to tell him if you..” said Lucia has not finished her speech already detained by Kelvin. David immediately turned off the call that they had not realized had been answered by Reisa.

“At this time we take care of him, you can talk later with Reisa” replied Kelvin stood trying to reach David's body to help him stand up to go home.

David refused and shouted “He's been dishonest to me. Why would he lie to me? That's what I wanted to ask him” he told Kelvin by pointing at Lucia and then sitting back down. David's shout stole the attention of other visitors who were staring at Lucia. Everyone looked at him as if David was chatting with Lucia.

Lucia tole left right with an awkward laugh “haha, it's not me” he told visitors who had mistaken him.

“Did I make a mistake?" david looked at Lucia seriously.

“I'll ask him later. Let's just go home first” replied Lucia.

“Tell me what's my fault? Why are you avoiding me? I never covered anything from you. I will always accept you for who you are and I don't care about anything else. But..., but why did you do that to me? Why?” David did not stop asking questions of Lucia. Lucia just can't say anything because she still doesn't know what happened between David and his best friend Resia.

David's actions actually make the views of people around them more convinced that David and Lucia are in trouble. Sometimes Lucia codes Kelvin to bring David home. If it continues then he will be increasingly misunderstood.

“I understand your feelings, we can talk again later” persuaded Lucia to David.

“Haha, you can't even answer" said David.

"What answer can I give while I'm not Reisa" Lucia said in her heart.

"You should answer him” David's orders and then be unconscious at the table.

“Ok” said Lucia then asked Kelvin to immediately make love to her. “I feel like Dejavu” continued Lucia saw Kelvin holding David on his back. He remembers David doing this when Kelvin was drunk.

"It seems like my job is here just to do this, I should have had a feeling why he called me" Kelvin grumbled as he tried to position himself holding David.

Lusia just smiled while tidying up David's bags and belongings in a hurry because Kelvin had gone first.

“Duk...!”

Lucia accidentally bumped into a chair occupied by a man in a hat wearing a mask. “Maaf” says Lusia. The man just lowered his head and looked away while he put on the hat as if intentionally to cover his face.

Lucy at first glance felt strange about the man's reaction. But he ignored his feelings by apologizing and leaving.

The two halted for a moment after seeing a man go down and called out Lucia's name. “Nona Lusia” said after opening the door.

“Arka? How did you get here?” lusia asked to look at Arka and she realized that it was Rayn's car.

“Young master Rayn is in mobil” replied Arka let Lucia in the car.

“You know him?" kelvin asked with a sharp look on Arka's face.

Rayn got out of the car approaching Lucia, but still kept her distance because there was Kelvin next to Lucia.

“Can we go back now? It's too late” said Rayn.

“What brought you here, you followed him?” Ask Kelvin.

“It's strange that you call it by following him, rather I worry about him” Rayn replied.

“If you see the situation, a girl was taken to an apartment by two men who even one of them looked very drunk. Who do you think I should trust” said Rayn with a cynical look towards the unconscious David.

“Although you want to say this is just a misunderstanding, I don't care. Because I will still act on what I see” continued Rayn said seeing Lucia look like she wanted to explain something.

“I just helped drive him” said Lucia.

“If so, your task is done. I can ask Arka to help him now. After all, a little girl like you will not be able to help”ucap Rayn.

“Arka, you already know what you have to do, right?" rayn gave orders to Arka to help Kelvin. Arka bowed to Rayn's orders.

“Forget it, I can do it myself” said Kelvin refused Arka's help with a face that looked unhappy.

“Come home with him, I'll give you news if he's okay” continued Kelvin told Lucia and then paused to enter by holding David.

Lucia returns with Rayn and Arka. Before returning to the Villa, Lucia asks Rayn's permission to stop by Reisa's boarding house first. Lucy was very worried about Reisa.

Arriving at the boarding house, Reisa was not there. Lucia kept trying to contact Reisa, but Reisa did not answer her call.

Not long after Reisa contacted Lucia. “You contacted me? What's up?” reisa asked in a call with Lucia.

“Reisa, are you okay?” ask Lucia.

“Oh, I'm fine” he replied.

Reisa says that she is going home to visit her grandmother because her grandmother is missing her. Lucy asks if her relationship with David is okay.

“Ah, there is indeed a little problem but don't worry” he replied.

“You sure? But..” said Lusia not until he finished his speech has been cut Reisa.

“Don't worry, he's angry because he's anxious. That's because I didn't say I was going to my grandmother's house. Rest, it's night” cut Lucia and then turn off the call.

Reisa hung up the phone with a face full of guilt for lying to Lucia. He is not currently going to his grandmother's house but is still around the boarding house. He even sees Lucia leaving the boarding house and getting into Rayn's car.

In the car, Lucia just silently stared at the road she passed. “Is everything okay?” ask Rayn.

“Oh , yes” replied Lusia briefly then divert discuss another.

“Wait, how about my car at the Cafe? And are you guys really following me?” lusia asked with a suspicious look at Rayn and Arka who were driving.

Ryan did not answer Lucia's question, instead he grabbed onto Lucia's hand and grabbed her. “Don't worry about the car. Today was quite exhausting. Can you just let me take a break and wake me up when we get to” he said softly and closed his eyes.

Lusia was only speechless at Rayn's attitude. He looked forward looking at Arka who also looked back from the rearview mirror. Lucia raised her eyebrows as if giving a code to ask, but Arka pretended not to understand and returned to focusing forward.
