CHAPTER 131 - Protecting My Brother Ryan

The mattress is still a comfortable place for both of them to relax after ending the heat struggle in the morning. Rayn looked at the face of his wife who was still lying in sweat that was still wetting Lucia's forehead and neckline.

Rayn stuck out her hand, wiping the sweat with the back of her hand. Lucia smiled at the husband's attention, grabbed Rayn's hand and held it. "What are we going to do today?" asked Lusia with a spoiled look on her face.

Rayn shook her head. "There's nothing I want to do today other than just always be by your side, with you" Rayn replied without letting go of her eyes.

Rayn's words made Lucia laugh a little, it was hard to believe that a Rayn would really be so deeply adoring to her. Rayn's eyes made Lucy blush even more, she asked Rayn to stop looking at her because it would only make her want to stay in the moment like now, he had to get up and prepare breakfast for the two of them.

Rayn held onto Lucia who was about to get up and asked her to remain lying down for a while longer. "In a moment, stay like this in a moment" Rayn said with a shady look.

Rayn again grabbed Lucia's hand and made it as a lid on her cheek, then closed her eyes for a moment. Lucia could only sigh and let her husband behave spoiled. Not long after, Lucia felt Rayn's tears drenching her palm.

"Rayn." call Lucia.

Ryan opened his eyes and it was true that he was crying, even Rayn's tears were still sullen and blocked in his eyes.

"You crying?" asked Lusia while wiping away Rayn's tears that came back to drip.

"'I'm just being happy, saaaaaangatt blahaa" he said slowly.

Of course this is a very happy moment for Rayn. Seeing a woman he loved so much with him while opening his eyes, a woman who has now become his wife and life companion. Happiness was a gift that had been only a dream for him, never once in his life Rayn dared to crave someone who would always be with him, even welcome him when he opened his eyes in the morning.

"I thought I would be alone and lonely all the time, every day and so on until I closed my age because of the phobia I had. There is no one I can touch, so I should have lived alone, that's what I've been thinking about" Rayn said.

Rayn clasped Lucia's hand on her cheek. "Do you believe, even now I still feel like this is all a dream. I even prayed and begged if this was just a dream, I wanted God to let me be in this dream for even longer. Gave me a little more time to be able to look you in the face like this." continued Rayn.

Lucia approached and kissed Rayn's chin. "It's not Rayn's dream because I will always be by your side, every time you open your eyes, every time and all your days. Not only today or tomorrow, but until we age and die, we will always be together. You're free to look at my face as long as you want, because I'm yours" she said.

Rayn responded by peeping at Lucia's forehead and hugging her tightly. Amidst the romance between the two, suddenly a surprising voice sounded that spread their romantic moments.

The voice of Lucia's stomach was screaming and struggling from feeling very hungry. Rayn laughed followed by Lucia who also laughed in embarrassment.

"I'll cook for you" said Rayn, taking off her arms and getting out of bed.

Lucia just bowed embarrassed and hit her stomach because she could not be compromised, she then changed to hit her head because she could not control her body that did not understand the situation.

Rayn got out of bed and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. However, he was suddenly startled by the existence of a man from when he had been sitting there. Rayn walked over to the man sitting on the sofa behind her.

"Did you guys really end it this time?" the man surprised Rayn.

Rayn even cursed when she was surprised by the presence of Mickey who suddenly asked with his sharp gaze. Rayn rounded her eyes between believing and not believing whether the man standing in front of her was currently real.

"Why are you looking at me like you're seeing a ghost?" ask Mickey.

Rayn breathed a rough sigh. "I just hope that what I see is really a ghost figure not a human" Rayn said without sin as she walked towards the refrigerator.

"What?" asked Mickey who was confused by the words of Rayn who actually expected himself to be a ghost.

In the confusion of Mickey Ryan was silent and seemed to think hard then he turned around and threw an attack of questions to Mickey.

"Why are you here?"

"When has it been ?"

"What... did you see it or... did you... hear something?"

These questions were posed by Rayn with a panicked face, without giving Mickey a chance to digest let alone answer them.

Mickey rolled his eyeballs then replied casually. "Eeemmm, since you asked him again, then you started again and.." Mickey replied and held back.

"And......??" ryan asked, his eyes curious.

"And I heard all, all including when you mentioned his name with *******, Lucia.." said Mickey with a voice that he deliberately made very sensual.

"I'm the one who should be asking, why should you do it here and not at the main Villa? Do you want to show it off to your mother?" mickey sahut.

Mickey then steps closer to a painting of Rayn's mother sitting with a little baby boy on her lap. Mickey combined both hands and paid his respects. "Ny.Angelina, you don't have to worry about it anymore because now your son is an adult, really very mature, even he's not alone anymore because he has someone who can warm him up all the time" he said and bowed with respect.

Rayn can only squeeze a bottle of mineral water in her hand to stifle her anger at Mickey who deliberately did it to bully her.

Mickey then explains why he was in Dervilia. When he was about to go to meet Rayn at the main Villa, he saw Rayn's car which was parked in front of the Dervilia entrance. He then went to Dervilia because he believed Ryan must be there.

Mickey had knocked on the door repeatedly but had no answer from inside Dervilia. In fact he contacted Ryan and only heard the ringtone sound of Rayn's phone from outside. Mickey peeked inside and only saw Rayn's phone ringing on the table without seeing Rayn's figure despite her phone ringing repeatedly. It makes Mickey worried that something might happen to Rayn in Dervilia.

"Yupss, my ghost I'd be so worried if you'd been drunk and passed out, that's why I barged in. How can you not hear me pressing the password? But aaa. forget about the cipher, you just don't hear how hard I knock on the door and the number of times I call you but you don't hear when this box thing" Mickey pointed to Rayn's phone. "This box thing keeps dancing and singing on the table but you still don't hear it" he continued.

"Ok, ok" cut Rayn. "I accept your reason for barging in but why then don't you go and just sit here after consciously knowing that I'm okay?" ask Rayn with a furious face.

Amidst the word debate between Rayn and Mickey, suddenly Lucia came down the stairs and approached the two. "It looks like he deliberately put on a soft ringtone that drifts, so when there is an incoming call like there is background music that accompanies our activities like a supporting sound in a drama" lusia smiled and held Rayn's hand and leaned her head against Rayn's.

Mickey shook his head repeatedly then let out a short sigh. "Well, there are not only 2, but now there are 3 silly people here now who discuss unimportant and ridiculous things" said Mickey made Lusia laugh loudly.

Rayn ends their strange conversation and asks what made Mickey look for him. Mickey only answers if there's anything urgent he has to say to Rayn. Mickey looked at Lucia with a face that showed that he only wanted to discuss it with Rayn.

Lucia suddenly stroked her stomach. "Aaa. My stomach is very hungry. If so, Rayn, I'll cook this morning. I'm going to the main Villa to cook for you" Lucia said, grabbing Rayn's car keys and saying Rayn could be back with Mickey. He left after Rayn gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"What do you want to talk about?" rayn asked as he opened the fridge door and grabbed a few apples.

With a heavy tone of voice Mickey said a fact that Rayn should have known. He said his uncle, who he was supposed to meet in Canada, was dead. Even his uncle died on the same day he received news of his father's death, who was shot and died while on his way to the prison.

Rayn stopped the movement of his hand that was cutting apples in his hand, accidentally he injured his own finger when he heard Mickey's words that made his heart restless for a moment. Rayn turned and asked Mickey. "Aren't your uncle and your father twin brothers?" rayn asked with a serious face. He did not even feel the pain of the wound on his finger, even the wound was spitting out the blood that Rayn had just left.

"Then she...?" rayn said, which sounds like he already knows the core of Mickey's story.

"You're right, my father is alive and the man I thought was Uncle Louis, he was my father" Mickey said in a trembling voice.

"Whatdidyou say? Impossible ...." Rayn's body became limp, he was shaken and almost fell but managed to lean on the kitchen table, it made the fruit cutting board that was nudged into his body fall apart onto the floor along with some of the pieces of Apples that he had cut. Slowly he dropped his body and sat on the floor with his body leaning against the kitchen cabinet.

Rayn recalled the tragic incident she had experienced that night. He again remembered the killer's words which were now clear if the killer who said those words was Mickey's father.

"It's all your fault. The person you hate should be yourself. All this happened because of your fault!"

"Rayn.." call Mickey with a worried face when he sees Rayn's body being instantly helpless.

Behind the door, Lucia was still standing there from earlier. He overhears all of Rayn and Mickey's conversations. It made her worry and cry, she covered her mouth with her hands to hold back the sound of her crying from being heard. Lucia had a hard time believing what she had heard, she became very worried about Rayn's feelings.

That fact is Rayn's biggest blow right now as she begins to achieve peace in her life. Mickey, who was about to get to his car to pick up the P3K box, was shocked to see Lucia standing at the door. Lucia stepped in and walked slowly towards Rayn.

"Rayn.." he called out in tears, and then he saw Rayn's finger bleeding.

Lucia immediately grabbed and tore the kitchen curtain and wrapped the wound in Rayn's day. Rayn just fell silent not responding to anything, she just looked at Lucia who was bandaging her wound. "Are you stupid? look at the wound on your finger!" lusia said as she wrapped Rayn's wounds in tears.

Lucia finished her last bond, then looked at Rayn who was still silent. "Rayn." she said, slowly hugging her husband's body.

"I now finally understand why he did it, why he had to kill my mother. It's all my fault, it's all my fault. I was the one who made him act vilely to kill my mother. But why should my mother, why should she do it to my mother. If he hates me he should kill me enough, why should my mother, why should my mother? What should I do Lucia?" rayn said in Lucia's arms.

"No Rayn, it's not your fault" Lucia said, hugging Rayn's body in tears.

Mickey, who had just returned from his car, stood at the door with a P3K box in his hand. He sees how Rayn blames herself for the tragic death of her mother.

"Why it had to be your fault Rayn, when you did it back then to protect me and my mother. It's all my fault that was too weak back then." Mickey said in his heart.

What an ironic story for both, it shouldn't have been Rayn and Mickey who endured the pain of adult guilt. The dark memories have become a wound they will never forget, a wound that both had to lose their mother in the hands of the same man, Mr. Mike Rayden, Mickey's real father.

Mickey's father, Mr. Mike Rayden, is the one responsible for all the crimes he's committed. Mickey will not stay silent, he no longer wants to be himself as before who can only receive cruel treatment from his father. Mickey doesn't care even if he has to risk his own life, he will be the one who will make his father get the punishment for his actions.

In a moment, Mickey recalled what Mrs had said. Angelina to him when she was little. "Mickey, I'll always wait until Mickey calls me by mother's call. And what Mickey must know, if since Mickey came to this house, until now until the time comes Mickey will call me mother and so on, Mickey is my son and Rayn is your brother. We'll look after each other and be a happy family."

Mickey was still staring at Rayn and Lusia, and the tears began to grow in his eyes as he remembered Rayn's mother's loving and loving treatment of him.
