CHAPTER 78 - Mickey's Love

After working at the Cafe, he arrived at the Villa, as usual Lucia immediately went up to the 2nd floor to visit Rayn. As Lucia climbed the stairs, she saw Rayn seeming busy working on something on the desk of the reading room.

“I didn't know I should call this room your reading room or work space. I also don't know what job you have other than writing” said Lucia approached Rayn.

In addition to painting and reading books, Rayn is sometimes busy at her computer desk. All this time Lucia thought that Rayn was busy working or something. But he doesn't know what job it is. Mickey never asked Mickey or Rayn. He only remembers Mickey's message not to bother Rayn when he was serious about what he was doing.

“You're back?” ask Rayn.

“Eeemmm.. because Arka brought me back safely”.

As Lucia draws closer to Rayn's desk, she takes a peek at what makes Rayn look serious. Lucia was surprised to see Rayn was doodling to signal a book that was quite tickling Lucia.

“Romantic activity guide?” ask Lucia.

Rayn tells Lucia that she just ordered a book that caught her eye at an online bookstore. A book about romantic activities that women want. The book titled ‘Perfikan Harinya’ was bought by Rayn after receiving a tip from Mickey about finding a love consultant for him.

Lucy did not expect that Rayn would need such a book. Lucia believes without guidance from the book, Rayn can already be said to be a very romantic man.

“Let's do it together” invites Rayn to raise her head to look at Lucia.

“Heh?” tanya Lucia was confused.

Rayn smiled, saying what she had in mind. “Go shop together, cook together, watch together, shop, go to an amusement park and everything. Let's do it together” take him.

"I don't understand why women like things that are simple enough" Rayn said.

Rayn nodded, grabbed the book she was reading and turned it over to a page containing a cartoon drawing where a girl sat on her lover's lap in the study. Rayn showed the picture to Lucia. One of the romantic activities suggested in the book.

"At first I didn't think this would work for you. But looking at your reddened face, I think what this book is writing and describing is true. Romance is not always with something big, it is just enough to start something simple like this" Rayn told Lucia.

Lusia smiled slightly, a sense of pleasure and shame had now attacked him at the same time. He was fanning his reddened face like a boiled crab. Rayn had actually studied everything in the book and practiced it firsthand.

Rayn was still staring at Lucia. “I love it when I can hold your hand. I love it when we walk together. I love all the times and days I have spent with you, the days I have loved you with all my heart. I like it even though it's just the two of us, it's just you and me. But I still want to do it. It's not just my deepest sincerity for you. But this is a small part of the effort I want to make to make you happy” Rayn said with a sweet look.

“Rayn...” call Lucia back.

Rayn smiled. “Maybe it will be different and a little difficult, but let me give it a try. Let's try to do it together, Lucia” he said reassuring Lusia.

Hearing everything, Lucia could not say anything more. She hugged Rayn with a happy smile. Still in Rayn's lap, Lucia embraced and buried her head in Rayn's neck. He never once blamed Rayn's phobia which would make him have a different life, including their dating ways.

“Alright, let's do it together” said Lusia lirih.

Lucia and Rayn continued to spend their nights in the reading room until late. The two sat on the sofa further marking the various romantic activities they would do together.

“You sure you bought this book just because it provoked Mickey?” ask Lucia.

Mickey's loyalty to Rayn never made Mickey serious in a relationship. He decided to never fall in love or date again.

Mickey once had a relationship with a girl who also knew Rayn. Someone who knows Mickey's position in the Anderson family. However, their relationship must end when the girl begins to get tired of Mickey's attitude which always superior to Rayn's rather than the girl.

“And finally their relationship ended just like that?” asked Lucia who was seriously listening.

Rayn nodded. “End just like that in a very cold way” said Rayn while remembering that time.

That day Mickey was looking after Rayn who was being treated for an over dose of the drug. Rayn wanted to give up by choosing to end her life. And that day also became the day that Mickey gave up on his love that ended in separation.

At that time Mickey had an appointment with his girlfriend who was on his birthday. The girl had prepared a fancy party and was already planning on introducing Mickey to her friends.

But while on the way, Mickey receives a call from Arka telling him that Rayn is unconscious in his room due to overdosing. Mickey immediately turned the direction to go to the hospital after giving orders to Rayn's personal doctor to immediately send an ambulance.

Panicked and anxious Mickey has no memory of his lover who is waiting for him. Mickey's girlfriend immediately followed him to the Hospital after learning of Mickey's whereabouts.

On a cold night, on the balcony of the Hospital. “So you'll always prefer him?” ask the girl in tears. He's demanding clarity on their relationship with Mickey.

“I've told you before, whatever the reason I will still choose it. I'm very grateful and grateful if you can understand and understand it. But I'm not forcing you and don't regret it" Mickey replied.

Mickey's smiling girlfriend wiped her tears away. He was very frustrated with what Mickey said. This isn't the first time Mickey has done it. Too often, Mickey leaves him and even breaks a promise because of Rayn. Again and again all because of his dealings with Rayn.

The girl has repeatedly tried to be patient and is convinced that one day Mickey will change. But it was like expecting flowers to grow on a barren land. Expecting change that will only happen because of a miracle beyond his control. Mickey's girlfriend never knew if Rayn had haphephobia, because Mickey never said it.

“How many times have I understood you and tried to continue to understand you? Till when? I'm also tired of Mickey" said the girl.

"Finally now you understand. Do you want to give up?” ask Mickey.

“Ok, if so this is the last time I asked. Between me and him, who did you choose?” ask the girl with a look of anger.

“Have you forgotten what I told you? Let alone compared to you, with my life I will still choose him” said Mickey seriously.

Mickey began to grow furious, he clenched his hand trying to hold back the anger at the girl standing before him.

“Don't look at me like I'm a weak man. Don't pity me and stop thinking that I'm a helpless prisoner. You're wrong if I've been controlled by him. I'll never blame your words because you don't know anything about them. But, one thing you can't deny, my biggest reason I can tell you. If it wasn't for him, I might not be in this world. It means you'll never meet me and we won't be here as we are" Mickey said.

The girl climbed the wall with her arms out to jump, threatening Mickey. “ You go, then I'll jump, I don't care about your past. But, you are now only in the choices that are in front of your eyes. Let's see if you still choose him" he threatened.

“We'll just end this relationship. From this second we break up” said Mickey did not heed the threat of his lover.

“What?” ask the girl not to believe that Mickey decided.

“Thus, there is no point in you jumping, it is useless because you are no longer my lover” replied Mickey.

“Mickey... !!!! Why.... ????” teria.

“I don't think I can continue, you know he's struggling to survive. But what do you want me to do here? Watching your silly drama?. The girl just cried hearing Mickey's words. Mickey did not ask him to come down and stop his dangerous actions.

“I'm sorry..” said Mickey left the girl who was still on the balcony.

Lusia tamapk is confused with Rayn's answer. “Surely the girl remained reckless doing so right? And that's why Mickey decided he's not in a relationship with anyone anymore because it's a terbesanya's cover that traumatized him, right?" ask Lucia curious.

“Hhahaha" Rayn's laugh.

"What are you laughing at?" ask Lucia.

Lucia replied with a nod repeatedly. Rayn asks Lucia to get closer, she slaps her thighs gesturing Lucia to position herself lying down and leaning her head on Rayn's lap. Lucia rounded her eyes, looking at Rayn's unusual demeanor. With a shy smile, Lucia followed Rayn's request, lying down with Rayn's thigh as a pillow.

"This is also part of one of the romantic activities that are said in this book" said Rayn still continue to membali book. "If it's written here I should have told you a romantic story, but now I have to tell Mickey's tragic love story" she continued.

"Then what did Mickey's ex-lover do to you?" tanya Lucia wanted to continue hearing her story.

Rayn goes back to the story if the girl accuses him of taking Mickey. Mikcey's ex-lover comes to Rayn's hospital room when Mickey is not around. He made a fuss as Rayn's bodyguards blocked him from entering.

Rayn eventually allowed the girl in because she did not want to disturb the comfort of the patient in another VVIP room. Rayn only allowed him to stand up to the door. This made him angry and immediately threw a Voice Recorder to Rayn containing voice recordings while on the balcony.

Mickey's former lover suspects Rayn has been in a forbidden relationship with Mickey. He was accused of having Mikcey choose Rayn even though he had threatened to end his life. He continued to curse Rayn with harsh words. He continued to refer to Rayn as the snatch of people's lovers.

Arka who was furious with the brash attitude of the girl directly dragged him out even though there was no order from Rayn. Rayn just sighed at all the swearing she received.

"I don't wonder why Mickey didn't keep you" he murmured inwardly and then lay back down to rest.

Rayn and Lucia continue to share their stories until they both fall asleep on the couch.
