CHAPTER 164 - NK Group ?

Today Lucia has returned to work like her usual days. Rayn asks Arka to guard and become Lusia's bodyguard. Lucia no longer felt uncomfortable about it, as she knew that everything Rayn did was to protect her. It has been a consequence of him because he has decided to keep working at the Cafe. And it has become a condition of Rayn if Lucia still wants to work.

Arriving at the Cafe, Arka pampit goes to the bookstore to get some of the books Rayn requested. Lucia also allows Arka, because after all everything about Rayn is a priority.

When he just entered the cafe, Lucia was immediately greeted by Dave. Dave greeted Lucy with a greeting and said that some time ago there was a man who claimed to be a friend of Lucia came looking for Lucia. Even the man forced Dave to give Lusia a residence address.

Dave who felt suspicious and not easy to believe would certainly not give any information easily to the man. Dave could only say if he could come back later.

The curious Lucia seemed to think for a moment, if who would come looking for her. Lucia felt that she had no appointments with anyone. Amidst Lucia's guessing efforts, Dave is surprised by a customer who just entered the Cafe.

"Well, that guy was horrible. Look, he actually came back on time" Dave said staring at the clock in his hand and then looking back at the customers who had just entered.

Lucia turned her head, confirming who it was. It was shocking to see Eric walking towards him. Lusia sighed harshly looking at the annoying man. Lusia could not even forget her frustration on the night of their reunion. And now the man suddenly came looking for her.

"What are you looking for me for?" ask Lucia without further ado or greeting.

Ignoring Lucia's question, Eric immediately approached and held onto both of Lucia's shoulders. He suddenly begged Lucia. Eric asks for help to meet Rayn, her husband.

"Lusia, please help me. Can I meet your husband?" ask Eric who is more to the point to say the intent and purpose without saying hello let alone asking the news

Eric's attitude really made Lucia feel uncomfortable. Lucia asks Eric to let go and sit down because he has already caught the attention of the visitors at the Cafe. Instead of listening to Lucia, Eric grabbed onto Lucia's hands while pleading.

Dave who was still standing behind Lucia immediately glared at the man playing hold of Lucia's hand. Dave stared intently at Eric who kept begging like he was asking for forgiveness.

Eric admits that what he did to Lucia during the reunion was wrong. He was sure that his attitude back then must have offended Rayn. Eric desperately wants to meet with Lusia's husband to apologize in person.

Eric is currently under pressure from his father to resolve the issue with NK Group. His father's company is in danger of bankruptcy. Eric is very confident that Rayn is the one who has made NK Group revoke all shares in his father's company. She is also very confident that her husband must be involved in business or good relations with NK Group which has a strong influence.

"Lussia, my father will kill me if I can't recover the company" Eric said.

NK Group has been investing in Eric's father's company. But suddenly NK Gruop revoked unilateral shares. A representative of NK Group told Eric's father that if he wanted to know the reason he could ask his son Eric. Eric tried to remember what mistake was so fatal that his company would be on the verge of bankruptcy after NK Group withdrew its support. And he remembered David's words to him about Rayn.

Lucia really doesn't understand everything Eric says. "Eric, I don't understand what you're talking about and why I should care about your company anyway. And also.." not until Lucia finished her sentence was cut by Eric's shout.

"Therefore I want to meet your husband!!!" eric shouted with a very frustrated tone and face.

Eric's shout made Dave very angry."Take care of your attitude, act like a customer or get out of our Cafe!" say Dave

Dave said to Lucia, if the man continues to harass her then he will contact Arka to teach her a lesson. Dave grabs the phone from his pocket and searches for Arka's number.

"Came ?" tanya Lucia held down Dave's phone to not make the call.

Lucy then spoke to Eric. "Eric, as I said, I really don't understand. I'll try to ask and talk to my husband. But I can't promise you anything. So I beg you, if you still want to keep your good name, take care of your attitude. And also, if you don't have any other business, you can leave the cafe, I have to get back to work."

Lusia leaves Eric followed by Dave who walks behind him like a bodygyard. Until the kitchen, Lucia stopped her footsteps suddenly and turned to face Dave. The shocked Dave stopped his footsteps.

"the arka? what do you mean Rayn's bodyguard? Why do you have Arka's number and why should you call her?" lucy asked firmly to Dave.

Dave explains that Arka herself asked Dave to save her number. Arka asks Dave to call her whenever something happens to Lucia when she's out of her sight. Arka did that of course on Rayn's orders. Rayn tells Arka if she can trust Dave.

"No need, I'll call him if I need him. Go back to work" Lucia ordered.

Dave complies with Lucia's request and returns to work. Eric has left the cafe and Lucia can work quietly.

Although now his life is guaranteed, but Lucia continues to work diligently. His work hours had ended and today he looked more tired than usual.  Perhaps because the previous day he had to carry out his duties as a wife who took care of her husband who was sick.

Out of the Cafe, Lucia was immediately greeted by Arka who was about to open the car door for her. Lucia told her partner to go home. Arka's treatment of Lusia made some of the other staff envious.

"Well, I didn't expect Lucia to be so lucky. She has a handsome and rich husband, and look she even has a driver who is so good looking. Not a driver, but a bodyguard. Ahh. isn't it getting perfect" one staff member muttered to another colleague.

Lucia's life had indeed turned into a lucky woman in their eyes. Everything just happened seemed so easy for Lucia to get it. But, they never knew the journey and the struggles and sacrifices that Lucia had made up to that time. Even so, Lucia will always feel if she is the lucky woman to meet Rayn who has now become her husband.

On his way back home to Villa, Lucia occasionally glanced at Arka who was driving. It was obvious that Lucia wanted to talk or ask Arka something but hesitated.

"It seems like there is something you want to ask, please" Arka said politely.

"Do you know anything about NK Group? I know, it shouldn't be to you but.." said Lucia restrained.

"Is it because your friend who came to the cafe met you earlier?" ask Arka.

Lucia turned her face to the window, she threw away the annoyance because it seemed like the incident had quickly reached Arka. Lucia believes that Dave must have reported this to Arka.

Arka asks Lucia if Eric has come to apologize. However, as to what had happened, Lucia said if Eric had nothing to apologize to, only more to ask for her help. Eric keeps forcing to meet Rayn.

"Is this really anything to do with Rayn?" ask Lucia.

Arka smiled slightly at the corner of her lips. "So he didn't apologize. The man seems to have really made a big mistake again" Arka said.

"Do you really know anything?" ask Lucia.

"Mrs Lucia need not worry, the man will not bother you anymore. About what you want to know, you can ask directly to Young Master Rayn. I felt it would be very presumptuous to answer that question even if I knew it" Arka explained.

Lucia smiled to end the conversation. He was silent all the way worrying about something he still did not understand. Plus this involved Rayn, making Lucia very anxious.
