CHAPTER 104 - The Hard Decision

Today, Lucia is scheduled to go to the hospital to exercise control with Reisa. After getting an examination, Reisa went in line to take the medicine that the doctor had prescribed. While waiting, Lucia saw an elderly woman who was also both a patient at the Hospital. Lusia had met him several times in the park while he was still being treated.

"Grandmother.." call Lucia.

"We meet again" said the grandmother with a smile. "Is your condition getting better now?" tanyanya.

"What is this guy you mean?" tanya Lucia showed me a picture of Rayn.

"Aaahhhh right, he is the man" said the grandmother with a smile because she recognized Rayn's face.

Lucia fell silent, she seemed to think for a moment and thanked grandma for the information she received. Lucia apologized because she had to leave immediately, politely she said goodbye and left the grandmother.

Lucia rushed to meet Reisa who was waiting for the medicine. "Reisa" call Lucia.

"Oh wait a minute, just 1 more queue number" said Reisa.

"Give me the keys to your car!" lusia's orders extended her hand.

Reisa was immediately confused and asked. "What do you need the car keys for? Is there anything left in the car?" reisa asked as she opened the bag, took the car keys and handed them to Lucia.

"I'm sorry, I have to go now. You can call a cab or have David come to pick you up. I'm sorry Reisa" Lucia said as she walked away leaving Reisa in a hurry.

"Ta. ta. but Lusia, you can't drive, your wounds are still not healed" cried Reisa rose from her seat about to chase after Lucia.

"Miss Lusia Alkeysha" called for an officer to name Lucia. Instantly the call halted Reisa's steps and left her confused.

"Lussia... !" shouted Reisa decided to stop her steps because she had to take Lucia's medicine.

Reisa's shout made everyone who heard her look at her. They looked curious and wondered what was going on between the two.

Reisa immediately contacts David and asks him to check the GPS of his vehicle and follow where Lucia is going. While he will soon go after by taxi after completing business at the Hospital.

Lucia never knew, if it turns out that as long as she was transferred to the hospital room, it turns out Rayn always came to visit secretly. Inside the Villa, in his painting room lay the body of a man on the floor with his eyes closed and still holding a bottle of drink in his hand. Yes, that man was of course Rayn. It turns out Rayn is still in the country, he never left the country let alone returned to Canada.

"Ray... Rayn... open the door !!"

Rayn's eyeballs move under her closed eyelids when she hears Lucia's voice calling her name. He convinced himself that what he heard was not an illusion.

The door opened, Lucia rushed in to go to the 2nd floor which was Rayn's territory in the Villa. But the footsteps stopped along with Rayn's footsteps which also stopped after seeing Lucia's presence.

Lucia looked at Rayn's face with a look of sadness clashing with disappointment. It's hard to believe that Rayn deliberately avoided him and lied about leaving the country.

Lucia was even more upset to see the whole room was now filled with bottles of drinks scattered. All messy, self-harm like life is no use. A scene that was exactly the same when he first came to work for Rayn.

Rayn was still silent staring at Lucia, he tried to convince himself if the one standing in front of him at this time was really the figure of the woman he loved and missed. He looked more and more fixedly at Lucia who was walking with quick footsteps approaching him.

Without a word Lucia directly hit Rayn's chest repeatedly with a cry that began to break. "Are you stupid, why are you doing this to me?" ask her with tears. The tears were no longer held in his eyes, but had already flooded his face.

Without dodging or resisting, Rayn let Lucia vent her anger. He just looked at the face of the woman he loved so much now finally present in front of his eyes. The woman he missed and almost made him desperate.

"Why are you doing this to me, why Rayn?" lusia's shout stopped her blow with her hand still stuck in Rayn's body.

"Maybe you understand why I did it" Rayn said.

"For what? Our happiness? Do you know how much I've suffered without you? And look at you, this drink... Is this what you mean by happy?" asked Lucia in a firm tone.

"I've tried so hard, I've always thought about the wonderful days I could create for you. I tried to cover up my conscience that kept screaming and cursing myself if it would not be possible for me. I close my ears, I close my eyes from people's view of my weakness that will only burden you. I thought that was enough to force my worthiness with you, but it turned out that I was wrong. When I thought I was doing my best, it hurt to know that it wasn't enough" Rayn said with a sad look at Lucia.

The gaze of Rayn's pair of shady netra started to shake Lucia's defense. Hearing Rayn reveal what she had tried to do to be with him, made Lucia instantly speechless. He did not expect if Rayn had been through that time alone.

For Lucia, as long as it is not Rayn who gives up then she can still survive and fight for her feelings. However, he doesn't know what to do if Rayn becomes the one to give up on their relationship.

"It's not about Lucia's happiness, it's about your safety. Maybe together I can give you happiness but one thing we can't avoid is the fact that I can never protect you" Rayn said.

Lucia understood and understood what Rayn was saying. However, protecting each other is not the only thing that must be fought for in a relationship. Rayn's weakness isn't her fault and doesn't mean she doesn't deserve to love and be loved.

Lucia took one step back, she wiped her tears and tried to stay firm. "Then do you want me to live with someone like what? With a cop? An army? A martialist? or someone like Arka?" continued asked Lucia who felt if the reason Rayn could not be accepted.

"At least along with a normal person who can give you a date full of romance as you dream. A real date" Rayn said.

"Ray....!!!!" shout Lusia.

Lucia's tears were flowing, he did not expect that Rayn had misjudged her. "Is that all you think about me? Do you think that's all I've wanted? We haven't even asked each other why we chose each other. How can you judge everything is only limited to Rayn" said Lucia with a word that faltered because of the sobbing of her cries.

"You know I love you, I also know you love me. I also want to ask and want to know. I'm just an abnormal guy who's different from everyone else. I don't understand what made you finally drop your choice on me. I don't even understand what you saw in me. Even without knowing the reason, you've made me feel like a special person, feeling that there's only me you want. More than that, I'm the one who wants you the most to be with me my whole life."

Those words were only stuck in Rayn's heart. Behind her sincere love for Lucia, Rayn chose to quit her desire to have Lucia completely. Release the woman who is already part of her future plans.
