CHAPTER 69 - Don't Go

Today, according to Rayn's approved schedule, she will be doing Hypnotherapy with Dr. Leona. Hypnotherapy they will do is not the first for Rayn, because Rayn has already done Hypnotherapy with Dr. Brian then continued Dr. Leona, until Rayn finally decided to stop.

Dr. Leona began to give instructions and suggestions that are at the core of the hypnotherapy process. A suggestion consisting of verbal reps and mental images to influence Rayn's perceptions, feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. He slowly starts to lower the volume and replaces it with a clockwork clink as Rayn relaxes and focuses on the suggestions Dr. gives. Leona.

With the technique of affect bright or bridge feeling, Dr. Leona begins to gain wider access to Rayn's childhood memories. Rayn begins to get the therapist's guidance from her conscious mind to her subconscious mind. “Wah... Aunt Adelin, did you hear that?” rayn's mother asked her nanny Aunt when she heard Mickey call her mom. The nanny's aunt responded with a smile that showed she was happy.

“Mickey, don't worry. I will fulfill my promise to go to the Festival event in your place. Like I said, I hate crowds and crowds. But this time I'll enjoy it for you. You need to heal OK!" rayn said with a smile and moved to leave.

Rayn, who was holding the doorknob, turned back and looked at Mickey. "I saw mom very happy because you finally called her mom. Instead, remember what I'm going to promise you right now. If you recover, we will go together to next year's Festival event, and when the fireworks celebration is released into the sky, then I will acknowledge and call you “Brother”. That's why you have to heal” Rayn said with a smile. He waved his hand with a carefree smile as he continued to open the door and left Mickey's room.

Mickey could only return Rayn's smile and wave with teardrops drenching his cheeks .Adelin's aunt wiped Mickey's tears and said to Mickey, if he was the lucky kid to be among those who loved him so much. However, Bibi Adelin's remarks actually made him feel more guilty, because his weak self at that time actually gave disaster to people who he also loved.

That night, the one who was supposed to go to the Festival event was Mickey. Mickey told Ryan he really wanted to go to the Festival with Rayn's mom. “Do you refuse to believe what you remember last time? That's why you're trying so hard to prove to yourself that what you remember was wrong. That's why you weren't there. You want to prove that Mickey can't be involved” continued Dr. Leona talks about the results of hypnotherapy today.

“Why? You still want to prove and trust Mickey?” ask the Dr. Leona.

Rayn got up from her seat. “Because I still care about him” said Rayn then left Lucia and Dr. Leona.

“Look, even he also ignored you who were waiting for him anxiously” said Dr. Leona to Lucia.

Lucia smiled and said if she was okay with it. Lucia understood very well that at this time Rayn might not ignore it but take time to be alone. Although he was very curious about what happened between him and Mickey. But he realized, after all, he was still a stranger who had just entered Rayn's personal life.

Rayn sat pensively in her painting room, thinking about what she had gained this time from hypnotherapy. He was more doubtful and worried. He began to think about what he had never thought of all along.

"He wanted to go with his mother, but he was also the one who eventually forbade us to go. It's like he knew something was going to happen.” Rayn said in her heart.

Rayn still did not get an answer, why it should be his fault as said by the man who had the heart to kill his mother.
