CHAPTER 156 - Becoming a Father

Before returning to the Villa, Rayn had prepared a special dinner for Lucia. Rayn had made a reservation at an Italian restaurant. Not only one table, but Rayn had reserved all the tables so that all the maids there would only serve them both.

"If I had known from the beginning what they were talking about was you, of course I would not have shared this desire with them" said Lucia, who indirectly praised her husband.

"Are you jealous?" ask Rayn.

"Eemmm... very jealous" said Lucia and broke down a smile.

Rayn grabbed onto Lucia's hands, leaned them against the table and held them. Rayn seemed to want to say something but she also seemed hesitant. Rayn looked back at his wife's face. "What if we go on a picnic weekend, just the two of us" Rayn said.

Lucy was silent for a moment hearing that. Of course Lucia was very happy to hear that. Going on a picnic is a lot of fun and everyone loves this activity. But, if the invitation was said by Ryan made Lusia a little doubtful. Lucia reassures Rayn that she's really okay with it.

"Going for a picnic means we will enjoy the weekend among so many people there. Are you sure you're doing it?" ask Lucia.

Rayn nodded, she unraveled her smile by saying she was serious about it. As difficult as it was for her, Rayn would not let Lucia also feel the same hardship. Too many moments that Lucia missed just because of her. And too many other normal lives have to be sacrificed in order to compensate.

Rayn's phobia may have been a hindrance to him, but it wasn't a barrier to getting Lucia happy. Whatever Rayn will do to give the beautiful married life to Lucia.

Lucia who had just finished taking a bath approached Rayn who was sitting on the edge of the bed. Rayn seemed busy with her phone in hand so she did not realize Lucia was calling her name. Lucia sat next to Rayn and surprised her. Lucia was very curious what Rayn was busy with her phone.

Rayn showed a search page on her phone to Lucia. The search results where he was looking for what to prepare to go for a picnic. Lucia again asked Rayn if she was sure she would go on a picnic.

"Rayn are you sure? Did something happen?" ask Lucia

Rayn shook her head, saying she just wanted to do what everyone else was doing. No matter the condition of his phobia, he would do everything together with Lucia. On the contrary with Lucia who does not want if Rayn does it just because for her sake. The life he lived with Rayn right now was enough to make him happy.

Rayn said she wanted to go on a road together with Lucia, holding her hand proudly and enjoying the beauty of the flowers. Feel the pleasure of eating a picnic by sitting in the field, surrounded by small children running around cheerfully. All those moments were what Rayn wanted.

"All right, we'll do everything. I will hold your hand like this and enjoy all those moments together" Lucia smiled.

"Lussia.." call Rayn shirih

Lucia turned her head to look at her husband, Rayn grabbed a mobile phone with Lucia and put it on the nightstand. Rayn then grabbed onto Lucia's hands and grabbed them. The warm grip of Rayn's hand actually made her become so nervous.

"There's one more thing I want to ask of you" he continued.

Rayn's sad gaze made Lucia unable to think or guess anything. But, looking at the look on his face like he was about to ask for something difficult.

Rayn took a deep breath and looked back at his wife. "What if we have a baby?" ask Ryan.

"Rayn.." - Lucia.

Of course it was an unexpected request. Having a child was not a heavy request for Lucia, let alone it was her husband's request. Of course, Lucia also really wants to be a mother and cradle a baby born from her womb.

Lucia did not expect that Rayn would ask for it. Lucia and Rayn had not been delaying to have a child but both had simply not thought about it. The reason why Lucia had not thought of a baby was because she was afraid that it would further hurt Rayn who was still suffering from Hephephobia.

As a father, Rayn will definitely feel tormented because even herself will never be able to touch let alone hold her baby. Rayn's phobia will be a barrier for her to get closer to her baby.

Lucia didn't want this situation to be a new affliction for Rayn. No parent wants to live just by looking at their child without being able to touch them. Right now the most important thing for Lucia is Rayn. It's okay for him if messki has to delay not having a child.

"I want to be called Dad."

"Well, let's have a child" Lucia said and hugged Rayn's body tightly.
