CHAPTER 128 - She's My Husband

After a long journey, Lucia has now reached the Hospital, where her mother is being treated. At the Hospital, Lucia was immediately preoccupied with the administrative affairs of the Hospital. "Why haven't you slept yet?" ask Lucia. "Aren't you asleep waiting for news from me? I'm sorry Ryan, just now." Lucia obviously felt very guilty.

Rayn immediately brushed it off. "So I was too serious about painting, so it didn't feel like painting until late" Rayn replied lying about not wanting to make Lucia feel guilty. Although actually he was still awake just because he was waiting for news from his wife until this late.

"What about the condition of the mother, is it very serious?" ask Rayn.

"Mom's pressure rises due to fatigue. Mom received a lot of orders these few days and mom only did it with Aunt Nia. But the doctor said if the condition of the mother has improved and the doctor has allowed the mother to go home tomorrow" explained Lucia.

"But, Rayn.." continued Lucia restrained.

"Is there something?" ask Rayn.

Lucia asks Rayn's permission if she can't get back home tomorrow. Although the doctor said his mother's condition had begun to improve, but he still had to make sure his mother was really healthy. In addition, she and Aunt Nia also had to complete the order that her mother had received, they could not cancel it.

"He...?" ask Lucia. He did not understand who Rayn meant.

Rayn laughs and distracts Lucia's confusion by telling her she's just joking. Rayn allows Lucia to take care of her mother. Rayn also asked Lucia not to push herself too hard and work too hard, she was worried that it would make Lucy become exhausted or even become sick like her mother.

The next day after taking care of her mother's return from the Hospital, Lucia had to go to the mother's shop to complete the order that had been received. Arriving at the Shop, Lucia is surprised by the presence of a chef and two assistant cooks who are already busy in the kitchen with Aunt Nia.

"Auntie is so happy that you got a very understanding husband. In fact, he immediately sent them to help us complete all orders" said Aunt Nia.

"His husband? What does it mean Rayn sent them?" tanya Lucia was confused. Lucia's confusion makes Aunt Nia confused because she thinks Lucia knows about it.

Lucia immediately contacted Rayn to ascertain whether it was Rayn who sent the chefs. In a phone call, Rayn did not dispute it, she confirmed it.

"I hope I can help you in any way. Don't you like it? If you refuse, how about I help you get there?" ask Rayn.

"Rayn. But you don't have to, I'm sorry I worried you" Lucia said.

"Why shouldn't I? I'm your husband and I have no other reason than to reason because I'm your husband" Rayn explained.

Lucia smiled and was moved by the attention of her husband. "Thank you Rayn, I'm so lucky to have a husband like you" Lucia said.

"You made my heart beat hearing that. Don't lure me or if you don't want me to actually run after you there. Don't you know how I've been holding him all this time?" goda Rayn returned the praise of Lucia.

"No.no. You don't have to follow me here" Lucia refused.

"Muah.." came Rayn's kiss. "I love you Lucia, take care of the condition and don't get sick. I'll wait for you" Rayn said.

"I love you too Rayn" Lucia replies and hangs up.

After all her affairs were done and making sure her mother was healthy, Lucia decided to return to the city earlier than the time she told Rayn. Lucia calls Arka, she asks Arka to pick her up at Terminal. Arka insists on taking Lucia directly to the fishing village, but Lucia refuses.

Lucia did not want to trouble Arka who had to go all the way to pick her up. Lucia said she would take the bus home and the arka would pick her up later if she reached the terminal.

Lucia deliberately does not want to tell Rayn because even though it is only simple she wants to surprise her arrival. Along the way, Lucia looked happy and still had an incredible spirit, not looking the slightest bit tired on her face.

After several hours of travel, now Lucia has arrived at the Terminal stop. When he was about to get off the bus, Lucia saw a grandfather who looked troubled down because of the many luggage he brought. Lucia rushed to help carry the goods and led him down from the bus carefully. Lucia also helped him to find a seat after getting off the bus.

"Thank you son" said Grandpa.

Lucia volunteered to drive Grandpa home until the grandfather's house when Arka had arrived later. But the grandfather refused because his beloved grandson was already on his way to pick him up. Grandpa was very grateful to Lucia. The grandfather also said if he felt happy because in the present era there are still young people like Lucia who still want to pay attention and help the people around him even though the person is a stranger.

"Go home son, your husband is waiting for you" said the grandfather surprised Lucia.

"How does Grandpa know if I'm married? Is it clearly visible on my face?" ask Lucy smiling.

"Your handsome husband must be a good man and love you very much" continued the grandfather.

"So he was standing there waiting and looking at you. Go, your husband is waiting for you" said the Grandfather looking at Rayn who was already standing not far there.

Grandpa had seen Rayn's whereabouts since he was about to get off the bus. He saw Rayn about to wave her hand to Lucia. However, due to Lucia who was then busy helping her so that Lucia did not see Rayn's presence.

The grandfather immediately realized that the man had come for the woman who was helping him. Even Grandfather saw Rayn who chose to wait there and did not let go of his gaze at his wife.

Lucia turned her head immediately and was shocked to see a man standing there, under the dimly lit shop in the terminal was her husband, Rayn Dean Anderson. A handsome man who never let go of his gaze. Lucy smiled at Ryan.

"Go, son, my grandson has come. Thank you for helping" Grandpa told Lucia and left.

Lucia invited grandfather to leave and turned back to look at Rayn who was still standing there.

Looking at Lucia who was now alone, Rayn slowly stepped her feet towards Lucia. Lucia stretched out her hands to greet Rayn who was getting closer to her.

"True, he's my husband. The husband that I love and love me so much" said Lusia lirih and broke down a smile.

Lucia really did not expect that Rayn would come, she thought that Arka would pick her up. However, Arka tells Rayn and Rayn insists that he will pick up his wife.

Rayn's steps were getting closer and he immediately greeted Lucia's hand with a longing hug.

"I miss you so much" said Rayn then softly kissed the sweet lips of the wife who also missed her.
