CHAPTER 154 - He's the Winner

Eric started to look agitated after hearing David's words. He knows what kind of man David is. During school, David was famous among his friends if he was the person who hated talking nonsense and also hated to interfere in matters that he considered unimportant.

Eric felt that if David had warned him, it meant serious trouble. Eric reassured himself once again by asking David. "Is he a person with great influence?" tanyakanya.

David smiled in silence. "Why should I tell you? All you do is be a dutiful child with enough attitude" said David.

Eric became very panicked, he asked all his friends who were staring at him. He asked all those sitting there, whether they knew Rayn's figure or knew about the business the man was running. No one could answer because they also did not know who Lucia's husband was.

In the lobby, Lucia and Rayn were about to return to the car. Rayn stops her from saying she has to come back because she has stuff left on the table. Lucia offers to take the item for Rayn, but Rayn refuses. It would be difficult for Rayn to go back there alone, therefore she would not let Rayn go alone.

"I'll call Arka and ask her to take her out. You wait here for a second, I'll be right back" Rayn said, leaving Lucia.

Lucia was finally willing to wait for Rayn. Today Lucia feels that her husband is amazing. Although Rayn's attitude is very firm but Lucia is very sure if Rayn is also trying to hold back her anger. Lusia had thought that Rayn might make a scene there, but it turned out that she was calmer compared to her already furious self. Rayn looks back, she breaks a smile to see Lucia who is standing waiting for her.

"Lusia...."

The voice of a man called his name out loud. Lucia turned her head towards the source of the sound it was coming from. Lucia looked surprised to see a familiar figure walking towards her. Rayn who saw it immediately lowered the rhythm of her footsteps with a curious look on her face.

"Mario?" tanya Lucia greeted him first.

Mario is a schoolmate of Lucia who will also attend their reunion event. Mario came late because there was business that he could not leave. Mario can already guess if the woman who stood alone earlier was Lucia. He would never forget the face of the woman he once liked.

"Again I've known it's you, does that mean I have eyes?" mario asked smiling.

Lucia greeted him, apologizing for barely recognizing him. Lucia thought that Mario would not attend because during school Mario was never near or liked those who were there.

"You're getting prettier, really pretty" said Mario praising Lucia's beauty with a sweet smile.

Lucia was not surprised by the compliment because it was the way Mario was. During school, in addition to David and Reisa, Mario also became a classmate of Lucia who always did good to him. Mario is a guy who is always honest, if he likes he will say straight away. But if he does not like it, he will even curse if someone bullies him. He is also known to be neutral in all things so that he is much liked by his friends and also respected.

"Did they still bother you?" ask her to Lucia.

"If they harass him, it's my responsibility to protect him" Rayn said, suddenly appearing from behind. "Darling.." continued Rayn stared at Lucia with a questioning gaze and then looked at the man.

"Is he your lover?" ask Mario.

Lucia smiled, she immediately introduced Rayn to Mario if the man standing next to her was her husband. Mario seemed surprised by Lucia's statement. "Husband?" tanyakanya.

Mario also pulled back his hand with a smile, he was not at all offended by Rayn's attitude that looks arrogant because he does not want to shake Mario's hand. Of course Mario does not know if Rayn has his own reason for phobia. Mario then said goodbye to Lucia and Rayn because his friends were waiting.

Rayn then took Lucia by the hand and invited her to leave the place. Rayn asks Lucia if the man liked her at school. Rayn could see that he seemed to be a good man, even the look on Lusia's face seemed different when talking to him. Lucia did not answer she just smiled.

"He.., he did express his feelings to me but.." said Lucia restrained.

"But you refused!" cut Rayn off and walk first to open the car door for Lucia.

Lucia chuckled, she did not expect how Rayn knew everything, knew everything about herself and could guess even with just one look. Lucia teases Rayn saying if it gives her goosebumps.

Lucia did reject him because at that time he really did not want to be involved in love affairs. Rayn sighed slowly, besides David and Kelvin, now appeared again a man named Mario who added a list of men who had fallen in love with his wife.

"I thought you'd be jealous, but didn't expect you to stay calm. I don't know why it makes me sad" said Lucia.

Rayn grabbed the seat belt and fitted the seat belt for Lucia. "Why should I be jealous?" rayn asked to stop his movement after pairing it. He was still stifled looking at Lucia's face so closely.

Rayn was getting closer and closer to looking at the two beads of Lucia's eyes. Rayn's close gaze always made Lusia's heart gurgle. Rayn clasped Lucia's cheek with one hand. "I am the winner, the only man who managed to touch the heart of this beautiful woman" he said, then briefly kissed Lucia's lips.

Without sin, Rayn re-established her seat to be ready to drive. But Lucia suddenly pulled the collar of the coat Rayn was wearing. "If you're the winner, why just give me that" Lucia said, kissing Rayn's lips.

Rayn took off Lucia's hand which was still tightly grasping the collar of the coat she was wearing. Rayn grasped it, wrapped both of Lucia's hands at her neckline and returned the kiss with a long lumat.

What just happened was probably the worst reunion that Lucia had. But now, Lucia is not alone. Lucia has a husband who has become a shield that will always protect her.

"Rayn is right, no matter what they think. We don't need any recognition from them either because my life and Rayn's ours."
