CHAPTER 76 - Bushes

Inside Dervilia, Lucia stared at the beauty of Dervilia's courtyard from behind the window. The beauty Rayn created for her. He still asked in his heart how Rayn prepared all this, because Rayn could not do it alone.

Lucia frowned at the man who was busy making tea for her. "Nothing is impossible for him" Lucia said. After all, he was very happy with the surprise Rayn gave.

Lucia walked up to every line of painting that was in the main room of Dervilia. “Actually this place? I

Lucia continued to stare at a painting that had stolen her attention from earlier, a painting of a woman smiling with happiness looking at a baby boy in her lap.

“#Dervilia..” murmured Lucia softly read the initials on the painting.

Rayn approached Lucia and hugged her from behind. “It was the work of the woman I loved so much, the woman who meant so much in my life besides you”, Rayn said.

“I know, the woman is your mother and the baby boy in the painting is you” said Lucia turned to Rayn. Lucia can already figure it out because she's seen a picture of Rayn's mother in Rayn's room.

“You are right, she is the woman who has given birth to this handsome man” Rayn replied.

Lucia releases Rayn's embrace and goes back to see another painting by Rayn's mother. Rayn told Lucia everything, all about Dervilia being not only the mother's pen name, but also the name of the Villa they are currently staying at.

So many questions Lucia asks about Rayn's childhood story with her mother. Including his fond memories of when Mickey began to enter Anderson's residence.

“Why? Are you disappointed? Do you want me to do it?” rayn looked at Lucia.

"Are you crazy? All right, if you don't want to go back I'll go back myself now” 'sort of Lucia with a flushed face.

The threat made Rayn smile, she felt that Lucia's reaction was adorable. Rayn let go of his embrace and grabbed onto Lucia's hands.

“Are you not afraid out there?” ask Rayn.

“Why? Are you afraid to come back because it's dark?” ask back to Lucia.

“Of course I am not afraid of anything, but even so my body will not be able to if I have to deal with wild animals” replied Rayn.

“I'm more afraid of wild animals that might pounce on me in this Villa” said Lucia stared intently at Rayn as if she bluntly said if Rayn's a beast.

“Hahaha” Rayn's laughter is amused by Lucia's speech.

"If you are afraid of wild animals, then why do you make a dwelling in the middle of the forest like this” said Lucia.

“For both of us to be in a situation like now” replied Rayn again teasing Lucia.

“It looks like you've been setting it up for a long time to trap the girls out there" Lucia chirped.

Rayn stared at how she was holding onto Lucia's hand. " Sleep in the room, I'll keep you sleeping here" Rayn said.

Rayn looked back at Lucia. "Remember what I will promise you, my promise to the most precious woman in my life”.

“I... Rayn, the man now in front of you, the man who now holds your hand, the man who loves you so much and loves you so much. I promise to always protect you, whatever it is even

Lucia immediately opened her eyes from her sleep after hearing her phone ring. “Hallo...” greet Lucia with a heavy tone because her life has not been fully collected.

“I'm sure you're still sleeping” said a woman on the call.

“Yes, I know what time it is. That's why you need to get up, I'm waiting for you downstairs. I was in front of Villa" Reisa said.

Lucia looked at the clock on her phone which still showed at 06:00 a.m. “What are you doing early in the morning here?” ask Lucia.

Reisa asked him not to ask much and immediately opened the door for her who was waiting.

“OK, OK, wait a minute, I'll go down” said Lucia rose from her sleep.

Lucia immediately woke up, her position was still sitting on the mattress with a blanket that had been half open looked confused. He glanced left and right, watching the room.

“Dervilia..” shouted Lucia.

Realizing he was still in Dervilia, Lucia jumped out of bed and ran out. Lucia did not see Rayn on the sofa, she looked for places in the Villa while calling Rayn's name in a panic.

Lucia opened the door, seeing Rayn arranging some flowers in the yard. “Rayn, fast, fast, we have to return to the main Villa immediately” pinta Lucia by running up to Rayn.

Rayn held onto Lucia's hand asking what had happened. Rayn sighed then grabbed onto Lucia's hand asking her to sit on Dervilia's courtyard chair.

Rayn stared at Lucia's dirty feet. “Whatever it is important, where can you go back barefoot” said Rayn by cleaning the feet of Lucia who was already dirty and then put sandals on the feet of Lusia.

Lucia did not reply she immediately ran away leaving Ryan and asked him to follow.

On the way back to the main Villa, Reisa again called Lucia. Lucia ignored the call and continued running back to the main Villa. "Oh no, end your story Lucia" he swore to himself.

With a gasp of breath, Lucia looked at Reisa who was constantly trying to contact her. “Hey, sorry to make you wait long” greet Lucia.

Amidst Lucia's panic and Reisa's confusion, Rayn suddenly comes to the two. This added to Resia's suspicion. Reisa hears for herself that Lucia has just woken up from her sleep and says she will come down to open the door, but she is suddenly outside and back together with Rayn.

“What are you here for in the morning? Let's go in” get Lucia to divert Reisa's suspicions.

Inside, Lucia sat on the sofa with her legs and hands constantly trembling. He did not dare to look at Reisa who was sitting in front of him with both hands crossed. While Rayn looked relaxed and calm sitting next to Lusia.

"I came here to give you a surprise birthday, but it seems I got a surprise” said Reisa.

Lucia, who was not good at lying or making up stories, could not answer Reisa's question properly. It confused Reisa. Reisa had already smelled some bad smells, she asked Luisa once again.

“You even immortalized it?” yelled Reisa who still thought that they had an out-of-bounds relationship.

Lucia finally resigned, there was nothing to cover up anymore because Reisa already knew she and Rayn were dating. Lucia bluntly straightened out Reisa's wild thoughts. He shows Reisa the footage and pictures he has captured with Rayn are a moment of celebration of his birthday in Dervilia.
