CHAPTER 103 - I'm Without You

Crings.......
The sound of the alarm went off so loud for the umpteenth time, but the body of a man still lying on his bed was not disturbed at all. It was as if not hearing the sound of an object that continued to sound and vibrate even almost broke the eardrum. The man was still sleeping with one leg dangling to the floor.
It seemed like only the scorching sunlight was able to make him wake up as he tried to flip his body into a recumbent one. He reflexively squinted his eyes to avoid exposure to sunlight that penetrated his bedroom window because the curtains were left open all night.
Yes, that handsome guy is Rayn. Rayn quickly covered her eyes using her arms to continue sleeping. But unfortunately the alarm went off again making him snort annoyed. Rayn is forced to wake up because she will not be able to sleep again. With Rayn getting up, he sat down on the bed. The tail of his eyes looked at the bottle of alcohol that was on the nightstand and grabbed it.
Rayn was about to drink it, but no water flowed from the bottle.. He then stared fixedly at the empty bottle that did not leave even a drop. Rayn was the one who had finished the entire bottle. But he became angry, with Rayn pissed the bottle against the wall of his room and broke.
Pyar.....!!
The sound of shards shocked Arka who was standing guard outside Rayn's room. Arka immediately banged on Rayn's room, frantically asking what was going on inside and asking Rayn to open the door.
With gontai Rayn standing out holding his head that still hurts from drunkenness, he then opened the door of his room.
"Sir Rayn, are you okay?" welcome Arka who was standing at the door asked with a panicked face.
Arka peered into the room and saw the broken bottles of drinks scattered on the floor. He checked straight from head to toe to make sure Rayn wasn't hurt. Without caring about Arka's question, Rayn asks Arka to step aside and she goes down the stairs to the bottom floor.
Rayn went to the kitchen and opened the fridge which again and again contained bottles of alcoholic beverages. He took out a bottle of the drink and grabbed the painkiller that he wanted to drink along with the alcohol that was in his hands.
Arka who had been walking after Rayn behind suddenly seized the medicine that would be gulped Rayn.
"What are you doing?" asked Rayn to scream.
Without fear of his Master, Arka remained in his stance by continuing to hold the medicine. He did not hand it back to Rayn who kept asking for it.
Arka could not stand still, almost a month he continued to watch his master torture himself with drinks and drugs.
"You can drink it with this water Mr. Rayn" Arka said as he offered a bottle of mineral water.
Without saying much, Rayn grabbed the medicine and mineral water roughly from Arka's hand and drank it. After drinking it, Rayn again walked away from the kitchen while reaching for the bottle of drink on the table. Arka can only resign, he reminds Rayn not to take it now because Rayn has just taken medicine.
Without heeding Arka's warning, Rayn continued walking to return to her room. Rayn's footsteps suddenly stopped when he was just climbing 4 steps, he heard the splashing sound of rain water that had just come down with a rush.
Rayn was silent, she was steady to the outside where the whole room was full of glass walls. The look in his eyes was empty, he looked so deeply washed away with a face full of sadness. Rayn recalls the moment of her encounter with Lucia, the moment she first brought Lucia to her Villa on a rainy night.
That night, Lucia managed to steal his attention when Lucia squatted down by covering both ears in front of the door of Villa Rayn. Lucia shouted to her mother in surprise at the sudden sound of lightning striking.
Rayn recalled how the moment she reached out her hand reaching for Lucia's body, she allowed Lucia to enter into her defensive villa without thinking if she would pose a threat to her afflicted phobia.
Rayn was still standing in view of all the moments she passed with Lucia when it was raining. Rayn turned down the stairs to the living room, and leaned her body against the wall with a bottle of drink in her hand. His one hand ruffled his hair wanting to get rid of all the memories he had to forget.
Slowly sitting down and crying out her tears, she tried to hold back something that slipped in her heart and squeezed it mercilessly. Rayn opened the lid of the drink bottle in her hand and gulped it down violently. Only the drink that he considered as a medicine that could make him forget about everything that happened.
"Young Master, are you okay? I beg you to stop drinking it" asked Arka who was worried about Rayn's condition.
Rayn smiled faintly in response to Arka's question, the smile then changed and made her feel hurt again. Every time people ask him if he is okay, it reminds him that he is not okay.
Rayn felt herself like a fallen leaf by force, because detaching from the old twig became a backrest. Without the twig it returns to a meaningless leaf, which will dry up with the soil and disappear.
"Now I can only stare at something you can't see with me. Heard something you didn't hear. Feel something you don't feel. I'm alone, I'm going through it all alone without you. I think I'm holding on, but why is it so hard?"
Inner Rayn inwardly stared at the rushing rain. Like a cloudy sky wrapped in rain, Rayn shed her tears, she was unable to resist her longing for Lucia, the woman she was no longer with.
With no Lucia by his side, Rayn is back to ruining his life. Rayn returns like herself before meeting Lucia. He just spent his time sleeping and drinking, he even stopped painting.
Mickey is also worried about Rayn's condition. It's like going back to the beginning with Mickey and Dr. Leona begins to have hopes for a cure for Rayn's phobia. Now they can only wait until they can again persuade Rayn to do advanced hypnotherapy and do the Flooding technique for his recovery.

Time passed, Lucia's condition had improved after returning from the Hospital. Lucia lives with Reisa in Reisa's apartment. Although his condition began to improve, Lucia still had to be careful in treating puncture wounds after undergoing surgery. Lusia also still has to do routine control in accordance with what the doctor has scheduled for him.
Arriving at the lobby, he was greeted by one of David's staff named Bella who also knew Lucia. Bella greets Lucia and asks how she is doing. Bella finds out that Lucia has not been discharged from the Hospital due to the terrible events she experienced.
Bella shows her concern for the events that Lusia experienced. "Did Miss Lucia come here to meet Miss Reisa?" ask Bella who thinks that Lucia has come to see Reisa.
Bella tells Lucia that if Reisa is not in Galery, she left with their leader who is none other than David about 1 hour ago.
"I'll help you to contact Miss Reisa or Mr. David, let them know if you've come to meet" Bella said.
"Well, there's no need. I didn't actually come for them. It's only been a long time since I've been here, I didn't tell Reisa that I was coming. You don't have to call them, I'm just visiting" Lucia said.
"Well, if so, do you need me to accompany you?" ask Bella politely.
"No need, janges are worried. I only looked around for a while while waiting for them to return" Lucia replied smilingly.
Bella invites Lucia to take a look, she even helps Lucia push the elevator door button when she wants to go to the 2nd floor of Psithurism Art, he went to see a collection of paintings by Lotus owned by Psithurism Art.
Lucia now stands where she first met Rayn. Still clearly illustrated in his memory how Rayn's situation at that time. A meeting that he never regretted until now even though Rayn left him with no news. Lucia was still convinced that one day Rayn would definitely return to him.
After being satisfied to remember the moment, Lucia was about to go see the painting somewhere else. When he was about to turn around, a woman accidentally bumped into him so Lucia dropped her bag.
"I'm sorry" said the woman as she petrified Lucia into her bag.
"It's okay, I'm also less careful" Lucia replied.
Lucia then turned to look at the glass wall to tidy up her coat after wearing the bag back. At a glance the tail of Lucia's eyes saw the shadow of a man who had just passed her behind.
"Rayn.." said Lucia.
Lucia immediately turned around to confirm if it was true that the man was Rayn. Unfortunately by the time Lucia turned around the man had already entered the elevator to get off. Lucia immediately chased after him using the elevator next door. Lucia repeatedly pressed the elevator button that did not open immediately. He became impatient even though he knew that the elevator was in a position to descend from the top floor to the 2nd floor.
With a restless and nervous face, Lucia waited in the elevator. The elevator door opened, Lucia rushed out looking for the whereabouts of the man earlier. He finally came back to see the man who walked out of Galery. Lucia chased after him and kept shouting calling Rayn's name.
"Rayn.." said Lucia, but the call was not heard.
Fearing not to be overtaken, Lucia decided to run even though she realized that her injuries had still not fully recovered. Lucia continued to chase him until Galery came out and the man was successfully overtaken by him. Lucia sped up as she got closer and patted the man on the shoulder and called out Rayn's name.
"Rayn.." call Lusia in a breath of breath.
"Yes...?" the man looked over and was confused. "What's wrong Miss?" ask the man.
Lucia was immediately speechless to find that the man was not Rayn, just a man who had a posture like Rayn.
Without getting an answer from Lucia, the man ignored Lucia. He looked at Lucia with a strange look and decided to leave Lucia just like that.
Disappointment can be seen from the look on Lusia's face, sadness began to envelop him who was still staring at the man leaving. With an irregular breath, he swallowed his hope. Lucia must accept the fact that Rayn really isn't on her side anymore. Lucia could not shake the longing that almost drove her crazy. He can't let go of his feelings or let go of Rayn, he can't live without Rayn.
"I put my feet together in the hope of your presence. I'm still waiting for you in the quiet despite the uncertainty. However, no matter how many times my heart calls you, I guess you will never hear it. I still didn't want to give up but over time I started to become restless. I'm even more afraid that as time goes by you can no longer feel the same way as me. My heart aches, missing you like this really torments me and slowly it's like killing me."
