CHAPTER 44 - The Good News

The day had passed, Lucia returned to her usual routine, collecting money coffers by working at the residence of Rayn and Kelvin's Cafe. As Lusia was preoccupied with a very crowded Cafe, Lucia's phone continued to vibrate inside the apron bag she was wearing. Lucia deliberately ignored the incoming call because she was serving Cafe visitors.

When there was a chance, he immediately peeked at who had been non-stop contacting him. Lucia was shocked when she found out that her mother had made the call 10 times. Lusia quickly accelerated his hand movement to clean the table of former visitors to quickly finish.

Lucia became panicked and worried something was happening with her little family. As he headed for the cashier, he saw Vhia who was preparing to go home ending her shif. Lucia approached Vhia and immediately gave her a tray containing plastic glass trash. “You want to go home? Wait, just help me take care of the cashier for a second. I want to make a short call yah” he said and went to the dressing room.

Vhia doesn't seem to care. “Hey, hey, don't play live as you please” he shouted.

Vhia put the empty tray from Lucia on the cashier table just like that. “Dave, you continue guarding the cashier. I have more important business. Why should I waste my time replacing him.” continued Vhia said asking Dave to stand at the cashier's desk in place of Lucia, then he just left.

“How can there be a woman without conscience like” grumbled Dave took the tray containing the trash and took it to the kitchen.

Inside the dressing room, Lucia was on call with her mother. “Mother, sorry to answer mom's call. The cafe was crowded. What did mom call me? Did something happen?” ask her in a panic tone.

“Nak... “ call the mother.

“What's mom? Say” says the impatient Lucia.

“Mom just wanted to tell you about our home security debt” replied Ms. Lucia.

Not until her mother finished her words Lucia had already cut in with so many questions. “Why mother? Have they charged? Or do something to mom, Lucas and grandma? Are they threatening our families?” ask Lucia.

Lucia's mother didn't really hear what her daughter was asking. Without answering Lucia's question, he immediately said what he wanted to tell his daughter. A good news if the debt that makes the grandmother's house as collateral has been repaid.

“Lussia... did you hear what mom said just now son?” ask the mother because Lucia did not respond. Lucia was speechless at the good news, between confusion and disbelief.

“It looks like the signal here is very bad, mom will be out for a while looking for a place with a good signal” continued the mother.

“No mother, I heard it, but I just still can't believe and don't understand why the debt suddenly paid off?” ask Lucia.

“A man who says the messenger from the boss you worked for paid it off son" replied the mother.

Lucia still does not believe, she is worried that her mother could be deceived by people who try to find opportunities in the midst of their difficulties. “What are you sure about? Lusia is afraid if the person actually intends bad” he said.

calling you to ask you to thank your bosses” replied Ms. Lucia.

“Bos? Which boss?” lusia asked inwardly remembering that she was currently working for Rayn and Kelvin. The two of them were currently the Boss of Lucia.

Lucia tries to find more information from her mother. But his mother also still does not know for sure, because she only met with representatives who take care of everything directly with loan sharks.

Lucia ended her call with her mother. He began to think hard which boss would spend that much money just to pay off the debts of his employees.

Lucia still continues to paddle alone with pacing in the dressing room. He continued to guess all possibilities to find clues as to who the Boss meant by the mother.

"If it's not Kelvin, the other person who can claim to be my boss is Rayn. Rayn…? Rayn…? A Rayn..?” lucy asked doubtfully at her own words.

“OK Fix. I'm pretty sure, it's definitely not Rayn. He's a more unlikely person than many. Rayn who just locked herself in the villa would never know about my personal problems. If only he knew, what was the benefit for him to waste so much free money” continued Lucia spoke to herself.

Not long after the mother sent a message to Lucia.

[Tomorrow the mother has made an appointment and invited her to come home. If you can tomorrow you'll spend some time with mom to see her]

Lucia immediately thought of Reisa and immediately contacted him. He still thinks if it's Kelvin, then Kelvin would know from Reisa.

Reisa answered the call Lucia. “oh my little baby,, what's up?”

Lucy : “I want to get straight to the point. Is it possible that you told Kelvin about my family's debt?Or maybe you told David to finally get to Kelvin?”

Reisa : “Why did you suddenly ask her?”

Lucy : “Someone has paid it off, but I don't know who” is

Across the phone Reisa fell silent. It was immediately thought of by one person who helped Lucia pay off the debt. The person in his head right now is not Kelvin or Rayn, but David.

Not long ago Reisa and David's relationship began to improve after he finally came to the point and told David why he worked lung time at the restaurant. David immediately asked Reisa to stop working at the restaurant and asked her not to worry too much about Lucia's business.

At the time, David told the club's chairman that he had decided to move from a language club to a photography club because he was chasing a girl and wanted to get closer to her. At the time, Lucia was the only female member of the photography club.

The same thing with Reisa, he began to get to know David when Reisa club was holding social activities. He asked Lucia and her clubmates to help perpetuate the activity. David and Lucia are helping Reisa's club social activities. From there Reisa immediately fell in love at first sight with David. Unyielding Reisa, plus support and help from Lucia, decides to move to a photography club for the sake of David.

Lucia doesn't know if David harbors a taste for her, and that sense has somehow fallen in love with her. His feelings for David were nothing more than a friend.

Thus Lucia strongly supported Reisa when she told him that she was falling for David. Throughout time, Reisa and David's relationship became close until they finally established love as a couple.

Not long after they were in a relationship, Reisa only learned the fact of David's feelings for Lucia from the former club chairman during the school breakup. But Reisa doesn't want to think too much about it, for her it's just the past and she'll just look to the future with David and believe in David's feelings towards her. As long as it doesn't hurt anyone, it tries to close its eyes and ears.

But now I don't know what makes him feel anxious. David's concern for Lucia has always been different. He continued to try to throw away the thoughts that continue to encourage him to be suspicious of the lover and his best friend. "Reisa, what are you thinking, please don't be stupid and get carried away" he said and closed his eyes put his head on the chair.

At the Cafe, Dave felt that Lucia had been in it for too long to worry him. He went to the changing room to check it out. He saw Lucia squatting playing with the washcloth in her hand with a blank look.

"Not long ago Lucy can tear it to shreds" said Dave realized Lucia.

Lucia looked at Dave raising her head. "The cave... Who is he.. I still do not find the answer, what should I do.." whining Lusia to Dave with increasingly strong ripped the washcloth in his hand.

"Is Lucy okay?" ask Dave. Lucia just nodded.

"I don't understand what Lucy said. If you still need time to find the answer that you are looking for, please continue but return the washcloth to me first" dave slowly grabbed the washcloth from Lucia's hand carefully and crept away.

Dave slowly left it and closed the door, shaking only his head at the cry of Lucia with a whining tone calling out her name. "The cave.....Who He is" Lusia's whining saw Dave leave her.
