Friendship That Starts to Sift

When the break arrived, Andi invited Alexa to lunch together in the hospital canteen. But Alexa does not want if Vita can not join.

"Al, let's eat together in the cafeteria" Andi said

"I took Vita ya mas" said Alexa. Which usually if in the hospital call the dock, now changed to Mas Andi according to Andi's request, especially now working hours. So Alexa also does not mind calling mas or doc.

"Why should you take him?!" ask Andi not to like it

"Because he's my best friend" replied Alexa

"Don't you know we're eating alone?" ask Andi

"Pity him when eating alone," replied Alexa who insisted to invite Vita to eat together

"Yes it's up to you," Andi finally relented because he did not want to make Alexa sad and disappointed

"You're not angry, are you, I picked up Vita?" ask Alexa to make sure

"Dear child. I'm waiting in the cafeteria, yeah,"

"Yes, I will be followed by Vita" replied Alexa smiling

Andi nodded and went to the cafeteria while Alexa went to Vita's room.

"Assalamualaikum Vita, what are you?" alexa asked as she approached Vita who was sitting pensively in her chair.

"Nothing," replied Vita flatly

"You got a problem?" ask Alexa because Vita is not cheerful as usual.

"No" replied Vita cuek

"Comm ... Oh yeah, I'm the same Mas Andi wants to eat together in the cafeteria. You wanna come?" ask Alexa

"When have you been close to Mas Andi?" ask Vita full of questions

"I'm not Deket, it's normal. I just ate with him, was that wrong,"

"I know you're Alexa, we're pretty close. I know when you lie and when you're honest with me. Please answer me, do you have a relationship with him?" ask Vita

But Alexa is confused about what to answer because honestly Alexa is not ready to tell Vita about her engagement last night.

"Jawab I'm Al, what do you have to do with him? Not that you like Edwin, Mas Andi's friend. But why are you suddenly the same Deket Mas Andi? Whereas before, you always keep the same distance he even you do not want Nerima to give him but why now your attitude changes. You're not as cranky as him anymore? Why?" ask Vita

"Why did you get to buy Bit? You're not like you used to be?" ask Alexa wonder

"Well I'll be honest, I've been engaged to Mas Andi,"

"APR?!!"

"why are you surprised like that?" alexa asked astonished by the response of her best friend

"You're not kidding, are you?" ask Vita

"No, I'm not kidding,"

"But how can you be engaged to Mas Andi if you don't like Mas Andi?"

"I just wanted to give Mas Andi a chance to prove his affection to me. Most of the time even though I refuse him but he keeps trying to get my attention and I can feel Mas Andi sincerely love me so yes I will give a chance for him so that he can make me fall in love with Mas Andi."

"How about Edwin?"

"He's gone home,"

"Truthfully, you're just making Mas Andi an escape, right?" insist Vita

"No. Why should I do such a lowly thing? I just want to give Mas Andi a chance, anyways I'm getting comfortable with him" replied Alexa

"You're selfish, you know not" said Vita

"So from where?" ask Alexa not understand

"You hurt a lot of people. You realize, Edwin came home because he knew that Andi likes you. That's why he relented and chose to leave,"

"I can't believe it. Then Mas Edwin came home because his mother was sick not because as you said,"

"It's up to you to believe me or not but clearly, what I'm saying is the truth"

"Where do you know?"

"It's my feeling to say that" Vita replied

"That's just a feeling you're not necessarily right. Don't talk about it anymore, I'm hungry. You want to come with me to the cafeteria, don't you?"

"No!" Vita snapped which made Alexa surprised why Vita like angry at him but Alexa tried to think positive

"Yes I've been to the cafeteria first yes," said Alexa who immediately left because Vita did not respond to his words.
