Love In Silence

Love In Silence
The Truth about Inez

At 7am, Balqis rang. With his eyes closed, he felt palpable looking for his phone that was beside him. He immediately lifted his cellphone which from earlier did not stop sounding.

"Assalamu'alaikum." Balqis said in a hoarse voice because he had been crying all night.

"Waalaikum salam. Son why you? Kog sounds weird. You're crying, aren't you?" ask Dedi to panic

"No kog pa, maybe because I just woke up." Balqis replied lying.

"Oh. Oh yeah papa wants to see you, you're not busy?" ask Dedi.

"Well, where are you going to meet me?" ask Balqis.

"Beloved, we have breakfast together." Answer Dedi.

"All right, I'll be ready." Balqis said as she slightly opened her eyes.

"Okay, papa wait downstairs yeah. Assalamu'alaikum." Dedi.

"Getishalight." Reply Balqis while turning off his phone.

And after that, Balqis immediately got up from her sleep and immediately went to the bathroom.

After finishing the bath, he immediately put on his clothes and went to the bottom floor because papa and his two in-laws also stayed at the same hotel with him only different floors. If he is on the 7th floor then his papa is on the 4th floor while his two in-laws are on the 2nd floor. And now her father invited her to meet on the ground floor. On the ground floor there is a cafe made specifically for hotel visitors.

Baliqs immediately went down to the bottom using the elevator. And after being on the ground floor, he met his father.

"Son, what's your eye?" dedi asked in shock to see her daughter like a panda.

"What happened to my eyes?" ask Balqis.

"You're crying, son." Answer Dedi

"Oh papa there's aja, where maybe I cry on my first night pa." Balqis smiled.

"Yes, come with me, Papa Ezra and Mama Ayu are waiting for us." Said Dedi while holding his daughter's hand towards the cafe.

"That's them." Said Dedi while pointing wrongly towards Ezra and also Ayu Andana.

Dedi and Balqis also approached Ezra and Ayu who were waiting for his arrival.

"Assalamu'alaikum ma, pa. Sorry I'm late because I just woke up." Balqis said as she greeted the two in-laws.

"Where's my son?" ask Ayu.

"Anu ma, it's Mas Aksa out ma, he said there are interests that can not be delayed." Balqis replied nervously.

"Anu pa.." Balqis was confused as to what to answer. Should she be honest or should she lie to save her husband from his father-in-law's rampage. Duh, I have to answer what. I want to continue to boong.

"Jawab son, papa won't be mad." Ezra.

"Last night pa." Balqis replied.

"What time?" ask Ayu Andana coldly.

"When Mas Aksa and I just walked into my room. Mas Aksa got a text and he went right away." Answer Balqis. "I'm sorry, I have to be honest. You see, I was afraid to look at the faces of Papa Ezra and Mama Ayu. It feels like his face is scary." Balqis in the heart.

"Maybe that woman again." Ezra said.

"Is that woman Aksa's lover?" ask Dedi.

"Yes and I never approved of their relationship." Answer Ezra.

"Why pa? Is it because he is poor?" ask Balqis.

"No. Papa never minded the social status of boy, all men are equal in the eyes of god both rich and poor." Answer Ezra.

"Why don't you respect their relationship?" ask Balqis.

"Because she's not a good woman, son. She was dating Aksa just because she needed her money.  For almost 7 years, Aksa was the one who financed the woman. She's not a respectable woman because papa has seen her change men several times." Answer Ezra honestly.

"Astaugfirullah. Then why don't you tell me the truth?" asked Balqis in shock.

"She's a cunning girl, son, and Aksa can't possibly believe papa's talk. Papa all this time hard it's all for Aksa's own good. Not because papa is selfish but papa does that because papa does not want him to be sloughed and at the ATM jatan walk by his lover." Ezra.

"How should we be now?" ask Dedi.

"We have to meet the cunning woman and warn her if not deterred, we can make Aksa hate her for good." Answer Ayu.

Dedi and Balqis could only resign because he knew that his mother and father-in-law would do anything for the happiness of his son.
