Love, Let it Get Lost

Love, Let it Get Lost
Trying to calm down

We'll be at Nicko's parents' house, or ours.

With the spirit of Kara released her seatbelt, and Nicko immediately carried Kara out of the car. I brought Kara's bag containing her supplies for swimming and changing clothes. I also brought Nicko's stuff left in the car.

I look like a real Mother and Wife now. I smiled to see Nicko who excitedly carried Kara into her house. Then I walked behind them.

But we both stopped when we saw a woman wearing a tosca-colored dress sitting in the living room with Mama.

Kirana. She looks so beautiful and graceful sitting in the living room chatting with Mama Nicko who wears her home clothes in green striped white.

“What are you doing here?” Nicko asked Kirana.

Kirana saw that she was not happy with me and Kara coming with Nicko. He stood up in annoyance.

“Where have you been?! Why is your phone inactive?” Ask Kirana.

He glanced at me cynically.

I stayed beside Nicko so casually, not caring about his sharp glances. Then I approached Mama and kissed the back of her hand with a smile.

“Hay dear” greet Mama while gently stroking my hair.

“Hay Ma. Where's papa?” Ask me to look inside the house.

“Papa is in his room” replied Mama. Then he looked at Kara who was still in Nicko's arms.

“Hallo Oma” greet Kara while waving her hand.

“Hallooo Kara. Omaa” Mama's granddaughter approaches Kara and kisses her cheek gently.

“Finally here again. Today Kara stays?” Ask Mama to Kara.

Kara shook her head while smiling in embarrassment.

“Why?” Ask Mama while pretending to be sad.

“Mama is still working Oma, said Mama later if Mama has a long holiday Kara bole nginap at the house of Oma” replied Kara innocently.

“Oh easy then” said Mama while glancing at Nicko.

“We stay pinch aja Bossnya to give Mama a holiday that panjaaanggg once so Kara can stay here with Mama” Mama quipped to Nicko.

But Nicko was still cold to his mother. And Kirana was still standing before Nicko with an unhappy look on her face.

“Kara, ayo down. We greeted Opa in his room” pinta me by continuing to smile to hide my discomfort around Kirana.

“I also want to meet Papa first, ayo we go there” said Nicko coldly, regardless of Kirana who stood in front of him.

“Nicko!” Call Kirana in annoyance.

“Wait a minute. I want to meet Papa” first Nicko said staring lazy Kirana.

“Iya it's okay for Kirana Mama to accompany here” said Mama held Kirana's back gently.

Kirana looked upset, as she was stuck in the living room with Mama, and Nicko followed me inside instead.

I'm still wondering, why does Nicko still look cold to his Mama? Does Nicko still hold a grudge against them?

We get to the front of Papa's room, we bang on the door until there is a screaming voice.

“Iya in” said Papa in the room.

Nicko opens the door and takes Kara into Papa's room.

“Opaa!” Kara Shouts.

Nicko takes Kara down and lets Kara run to her Papa who is sitting behind her desk.

“Haii.”

Papa was surprised to see our presence and he greeted Kara who ran towards him. Papa immediately catches Kara and settles Kara in her lap, she kisses and hugs Kara so tightly.

“Hallo darling, why did you come here?” Anxious Papa while pinching Kara's cheek gently.

“Iya Opa's. Mama and Kara have just had a holiday, so they can come back here again”

“Oohh”

“Hay Pa” greet me while kissing the back of Papa's hand.

“Hay Son. Why are you guys together?” Tanya Papa pointed at me and Nicko as well.

“I..” said I was confused to glance at Nicko who kept silent reluctant to answer.

“I'm asking to pick up Nicko Pa. Because my car broke down”

“Ooh. Already taken to the workshop? Need Papa call Papa's subscription mechanic there?” Ask Papa worries me.

“Oh no Pa. I've handled it, all is almost done kok” replied I rejected his offer quickly.

I look clumsy when I lie.

“Baiklah” replied Papa.

Then Papa looked back at Kara who was in his lap.

“And Opa's grandson now want to play what?” Ask her angrily.

“Kara bring a swimsuit Opa” show off Kara, who like can't wait to get into the pool immediately.

“O yes?”

“Where to learn more swimming?”

“Mau dong Opa” says Kara.

Then Kara brought her lips closer to Papa's ear as if she wanted to whisper something.

“Soalya Mama never permitin Kara to swim in addition to the house Opa” whispered Kara who can still be heard by me or Nicko.

“Oh gitu” replied Papa in a whisper following Kara.

Papa and Kara's conversation made Nicko frown and glance at me.

“Then let's” take Papa while lowering Kara from her annuals.

Papa and Kara come out together with their funny behavior. Before leaving Papa's room, Nicko pulled my hand.

“Never allow him to swim?” Nicko asked in wonder, and made me wonder at his short question as well.

“Learning to swim is also important for children his age. So that when he grows up he can swim” Nicko tried to lecture me.

I frowned when I heard his words.

“Trust. Raising him alone is not easy” I insinuated to Nicko.

She then fell silent and let me go leaving her adrift where she stood to think.

I approached Papa and Kara who were already in the pool, I replaced Kara with her swimsuit. And Papa was still waiting for one of his maids to bring Papa clothes to swim.

“Pa. Do you mind continuing to work Kara like this?” Ask me so I feel bad.

“Why should you mind?” Ask Papa who is sitting in the long chair beside the pool.

“Yes. I'm not feeling well Pa”

“Papa more object if you still do not want to go back to this house”Jar Papa re-emphasized the problem.

I breathed so deeply and stared at Papa with a piteous glare.

“Pa. Don't discuss it first ya”

“Then, stop feeling if you and Kara are strangers in this house” pinta Papa seriously.

I smiled hearing it.

“Baik”

Then not long Nicko came to the pool without wearing clothes and only wearing black color boxer.

“Let me accompany Kara swim”, Nicko said to Papa.

Papa looked at Nicko in confusion. But Papa nodded his head.

“Alright” Papa replied without objection.

“Papa still have work right?” Guess Nicko who seems like he already knows what Papa did in his study.

“Yes. But actually Papa can postpone it for Kara”

“No need. I will accompany Kara this time”, Nicko said with still cold to his own Papa.

“Horeee!! Swim the same Om Nicko” exclaimed Kara with so happy.

“Ayo” invites Nicko to take Kara's hand to the shallower side of the pool for Kara to learn.

Suddenly Papa smiled at Kara and Nicko who were so happy in the pool.

“Then Papa returned to the office huh. We'll meet at the dinner table”

“Good Pa”

Then Papa went back to his room.

And I looked at Nicko as well as Kara who had started swimming in the pool. Kara looks so happy to learn to swim with Nicko, and Nicko seems happy to see Kara's happiness.

Moments later, Mama and Kirana came to us at the pool.

“Omaaa!!” Greet Kara when she sees her Oma next to the pool.

The two of them stood before me to look at Nicko and Kara.

“Loh. How about Nicko? Where's opa?” Ask Mama to Kara.

“Papa continue working Oma,Om Nicko want to replace Opa”

“Oh so” Mama replied with a smile.

Kirana continued to stand next to Mama Nicko by continuing to steal a glance at me who was behind her tightly.

“It looks like you deserve to be Nicko”'s Dad Mama made me surprised to hear that.

And I saw Nicko was jolted with Mama's words but he tried to calmly hold Kara.

“Mama can't wait to carry out your marriage with Kirana in the title, and soon give a grandchild also to Mama and Papa”

My heart feels slashed. I was so stuffy hearing Mama's words that hurt me so much. She's expecting grandchildren from Nicko and Kirana, while she doesn't care if Kara is also Nicko and me's granddaughter.

I'm starting to cramp, my heart is starting to blow. With my head down I left the pool quickly. Kirana was aware of my departure, as was Nicko. Nicko kept glancing at me who left from his presence with a worried look on his face. But I just kept going to my room upstairs to reflect and calm down.
