Breakfasted

The next morning I woke up to the sound of knocking on the door. I blinked my eyes little by little, and frowned because the noise of knocking on the door woke me up this early. I opened my eyes and saw Nicko's hand still coiled around my body. I woke Nicko up slowly.

“Nick wake”

He blinked his eyes so heavily.

“It looks like it was Kara knocking on the door” I said.

Then Nicko glanced at the door and woke up from his sleep. We both wore our clothes scattered on the floor and immediately opened the door. And sure enough it turns out that Kara who has been standing in front of the door with a plate in her hand, there is also Mama who accompanies Kara behind her.

“Hay dear” greet me while crouching to greet her.

“Good morning Mama, good morning Papa” greet Kara.

Then she kissed me on the cheek, and Nicko leaned over to get a kiss from Kara. We both smiled with Kara's sweet attitude.

“Kara bring Mama and Papa breakfast” said Kara made me more moved.

“Iya Sorry yes, from earlier Kara was fussy keep asking where you are, and she was worried you will starve if not breakfast” said Mama looks bad.

I smiled at Kara and stroked her long unraveled hair.

“Thank you dear, Mama and Papa are hungry” I said with a smile to Kara.

“This Kara bring same milk box sandwich for Mama Papa”

I took the plate from Kara's hand.

“Kara want to be here with Mama and Papa ?” Ask me.

Kara immediately glanced at her Oma who was still standing behind her. Kara's asking her Oma for permission on my offer.

Mama immediately raised her halis and glanced at me meaningfully. Mama probably didn't really want to bother us as newlyweds.

“It's okay Ma, I want to be with Kara” said I seem to understand what Mama thinks.

“Alright then” Mama said.

“Mama back to room ya”

“Iya Ma. Thank you very much”

Mama nodded her head.

“Bye Kara”

“Bye Oma”

Then Mama went back to her room. And I led Kara into the room with Nicko closing the door.

I sit Kara down at the dinner table and keep her food at the table, I sit on her one seat and when Nicko comes she picks up Kara and puts Kara on her lap.

“How much is breakfast?” Ask Nicko.

“Already Pa, but only a little, because earlier Oma wanted to love Kara soup that there leaves her” Kara said Kara made me and Nicko laugh.

“So Kara is here because she doesn't want to eat soup with Oma huh?” Tanya I was so understanding with her that it was very difficult to eat vegetables.

Kara nodded while pursing her lips.

“OK so now we eat three ya” said Papa while carrying his sandwich.

Nicko eats first, then he feeds Kara.

“Where's name?” Ask me, acting sad.

Then Nicko fed me with a smile. Glad I opened my mouth to get a bite from Nicko.

We continued our breakfast at the dinner table until it ran out.

After it was over we went straight back to bed and took Kara. Kara seemed to be still sleepy and I stroked Kara's hair while humming to put her to sleep, then she was completely bewitched by my singing and fell asleep.

We both hugged Kara so warmly in bed. Nicko continued to stroke Kara's hair elus with a face as if he was thinking about something.

“What do you think?” I asked quietly for fear of waking our little daughter.

“I still do not believe in the presence of Kara” he said by continuing to look at Kara.

“You have been willing to take care of her to this size, and you are able to do without a father figure for Kara. How did you do it ? How can you keep Kara alone until I get back ?” Said Nicko while looking at me with haru.

“I just feel like I have an inner bond with you Faw. Maybe it's all because of Kara. I have felt a strong feeling with her even though I did not know there was a presence Kara in my life” replied Nicko again stroked Kara's head.

“Starting this second and forever, I will take care of him, and be a good Papa to his” Nicko said earnestly.

I smiled at his words.

In the afternoon after we returned from the hotel, we immediately cleaned up the items to go honeymoon to Lombok like what Nicko had promised. I packed my clothes and Kara into a suitcase, I also had to help Nicko pack his clothes in his room.

“After this we should be in one room, you should choose which room we will use together?” Nicko asked while folding his clothes.

I thought about what he asked for, while continuing to tidy up Nicko's clothes that would be put in the suitcase.

“Kara will definitely grow up and she needs her own room as well”.

Nicko scrunched up his halis.

“We are here only while Fawnia, we will move to ku” house

Now I'm the one frowning staring at her.

“Why is that? Didn't his mom ask us to stay here?”

“I know. But it feels strange if we keep quiet here while we have a family”

“What Mama won't mind with that decision ?”

“I'll make Mama understand”

Then I could just keep following her.

After helping Nicko to pack his things in the suitcase and reassess Nicko's often forgotten items. After making sure I and Nicko are done seeing Kara, Mama and Papa in the living room.

“Hay Ma, hay Pa” greet me to both of them.

I glanced at Papa. Papa like his being unwell in view of the look of his face that is so tangled and his voice sounds so weak.

“Papa hurts?” Ask Papa who is smiling to see me.

Papa shook his head with a confused face.

“Papa is fine. Very good”

“Papa looks unhealthy” timpal Nicko who is also aware of Papa's different facial features.

“No. Papa is just exhausted because of yesterday” event

“Then rest lah” pinta Nicko.

“Iya later Papa rest yes. You guys be careful there, take care of Kara. Don't be careless leaving Kara wherever”

I nodded to take Papa's orders.

“Nicko take care of Kara and Fawnia. Remember, don't let you leave him alone again” Papa warned Nicko.

“Good Pa” replied Nicko with a smile.

Then Papa held onto Kara's arms and looked at Kara's eyes.

“Kara there should not be naughty, should not eat carelessly, and should always be with Mama and Papa ya” Papa's message to Kara.

“Oke Opa”

Kara kisses her Opa cheek and her Opa kisses Kara's forehead back. Then it's Mama's turn. Mama hugged Kara tightly.

“Oma must be very happy with Kara”

“If Oma kangen Kara, Oma directly phone Kara ya” replied Kara tried to calm her Oma.

“How to directly pick up his phone?” Ask Mama.

“Iya dong Oma, Let Oma ga sad at stay Kara”

“Kara there for a while, Kara will come back and we play again yes Oma” said Kara continues to calm her Oma.

Then Mama smiled and kissed Kara on both cheeks.

I smiled happily, and Nicko pulled my shoulder to get closer to her body. I glanced at Nicko with a smile, because it was so happy to see Kara so loving Oma and her Opa, likewise, Oma and Opa seem to be very caring and happy with the presence of Kara among them.
