Chapter 99 Destroying the Reivaj Group
After Doug finishes with his phone call to Zayn, he proceeds to call Javier.
"Trs. Kersey, I've prepared everything as per your instructions. But, based on the info I gathered, the Dunham Group keeps a sizable amount of zircon. Don't you think it's a little risky for us to pay so much money?”
Of course, Javier understands the risks. “Slightly risky is a very understatement. There will be great risks at play this time, but I believe that Mr. Dunham will be willing to help us pay the bills.”.
When Javier tells Doug about the next phase of his plan, Zayn is in a hurry to tell Geoffrey the good news he just received.
At the office, Zayn tells Geoffrey everything, leaving no single detail.
Geoffrey is basically a very cautious person. He scrutinized all the details Zayn had given him, carefully thinking through them all for fear that it might be another trap. Finally, after more than ten minutes, Geoffrey gave Zayn his consent after being unable to identify any potential pitfalls with the plan.
“Please, but you will only be responsible for contacting them. All trades and other aspects of this business will be handled by the person I arranged to be responsible.”
Zayn immediately showed his dissatisfaction with this.
“Dad can't do this! I just got a pile of shit dumped on me, so who knows how many people inside the company laugh at me in the back? If I wasn't the one to handle this myself and bring us all a perfect victory, their opinion of me would only get worse. They'll never listen to my instructions again.”.
Zayn had to use every reason and persuasion method he had before successfully convincing Geoffrey to leave him in charge.
“With one condition... I want you to be extra careful about this. You must not take shortcuts and do not be greedy at any point. Do you understand?"
Zayn simply nodded his head at the many reminders of his father, stating that he would not fail again.
Once out of Geoffrey's office, Zayn called Doug.
In just half a day, Doug had obtained all the zircon reserves in the Dunham Group zircon mines, which amounted to more than 200 tons. At 230 thousand dollars per ton, the total overall reached more than 45 million dollars.
Doug also very efficiently arranged a fleet of cars to transport all the zircon away. Moreover, he had transferred all the payments to Zayn even before Zayn mentioned a word about him.
That afternoon, when Zayn returned to his company headquarters, Geoffrey was at
company meetings.
Beaming, Zayn stepped into the conference room. Sometimes, he would even smile a little.
Everyone in the conference was curious about Zayn's strange behavior, which led Zayn to give everyone a brief overview of what had happened.
Then, he started claiming services for himself. “At first, my co-worker was ready to deal with Reivaj Group, but I managed to persuade him to work with us using my sincerity. He has taken all the zircon out of our hands. And that's how Dunham Group managed to direct its money to our company!”
Everyone in the conference room gave Zayn a round of applause and showered him with praise after hearing this.

“We are worried about how we will sell the stock we have and will sell it at a low price. But you have managed to save us all with this fantastic feat of yours! You've cleared all the reserves we have. Just incredible! Amazing!”
Even Geoffrey nodded and praised Zayn as well.
“You've done pretty well in this deal, Zayn. You didn't disappoint me. Good…"
Zayn scanned the entire conference room with a proud look on his face as he thought, 'With this deal, I instantly managed to wipe out the entire 12 million dollar loss I had caused before!

That afternoon, Zayn became the star of the show. Endless praise from the people for him flew in from all directions.
