Chad could not believe how much influence the famous director had.
Mr. Gander takes him to meet a rising young star who, by chance, is on Medb for a scheduled program. The star was only a little haughty when he first saw Chad, but once Mr. Gander was in the room, he changed. His face was radiating respect,
It is easy to know the reason. An actor's job is to act, but if they are lucky to be recommended or offered a role by a famous director, that alone already shows their acting track record. They will gain the right to boast and tell the world that their talents and skills have been recognized as well.
That's why the young star was so excited when he heard about signing with Reivaj Media, who will be working with Mr. Gander to produce films worthy of Osbom. His attitude towards Chad endured one-eighty as he enthusiastically lifted his contract near the end.
The young man thought that, if he joined Reivaj Media, he would become the lead actor in the latest director's masterpiece. It's only been two hours since Chad and Mr. Gander came to see the young star, but they had already managed to persuade him to join them. All that remains is the contract.
While the two of them were on their way home, Chad praised the director. “A director of your caliber can really do wonders, Mr Gander! I really think all I can achieve is to leave my number to his consideration after putting forward the project and introducing myself. Who knows that our secret weapon is you! As soon as you appeared, the young'un immediately said yes! This is all you, Mr Gander!”
The director waved, laughing. “Please, this is nothing. In my honest opinion, he should come with you now to sign his new contract rather than waiting for you to meet him again with the contract at a later time! Now... it is his supervision.”
Well, if Chad can be frank, he thinks the previous scenario would be too excessive for his taste. But that's not the time for anything other than flattery.
On their way, Mr. Gander received a call from the same actor they had just spoken to. Glad to have the opportunity to show how much influence and charm he has in the film business, Mr. Gander puts his phone on the loudspeaker so Chad can hear it. "Hello, Gander is talking."
“Yes, hello, Mr Gander! Uh, please help me get a message to Mr. Mccool. Tell him I'm sorry. I just got a personal call from M 1. Lloyd Young was a while ago. He heard about my contract expiring and was ready to give me a contract with his company. As you all know, Mr. Young's company is home to talent and praise, so, she even promised me that she would make a perfectly customized teen romance movie for me so I would play the lead role.”
Mr. Gander was stunned. He wanted to use this as an opportunity to show his influential prowess before Chad, but now? Well, he might as well stumble and tear his pants. That's shameful!
He's very angry. But even before he could say anything, the young man hung up the phone as soon as he finished his apology, leaving Mr. Gander with a red face in anger. The only reason he held back his anger was because Chad was sitting right next to him, watching him.
He forced laughter. "Don't worry. There are a lot of young people on the rise in this market. We just need to keep doing the reconnaissance.”
Chad chuckles and nods in agreement, though secretly he is not bothered at all.
He has embarked on this quest journey thinking that Javier's intention to recruit more influential young stars than these actors is heartfelt. Lloyd bravely hunts down their talent built in order for him to understand Javier's ulterior motives.
Chad should know. When Javier tells him to research their enemy, Chad never feels Javier wants to hold those young actors against Lloyd at all. That means—if Chad's conjecture is true—javier never wanted these young actors. All he wanted was to trick Lloyd into signing with them en masse, like a scattering of passes. The point is to drain Lloyd's funds slowly by getting him to sign unsustainably with these actors until the money collapses in his own vacuum.
Thinking of Javier's plan makes Chad exclaim to himself, 'Damn it, boss! You'll make the Devil run for his money!
The rest of the talent search process also failed. It doesn't matter who Mr. Ganders. Each actor began beaming and promising to join them, and a phone call later, they would apologize for choosing to work with Lloyd instead. The duo manages to meet two young actors and two equally young actresses, and all of them end up being hunted by their rivals.
He reveals his confusion to Chad, hoping to find out the secret of their plan. Instead of telling her, all Chad did was laugh and wave, "Oh, that's okay."
It was then that Mr. Gander finally realized the extent of his position. He may have a voice, presence, and influence in the movie business, but in this case, he is just a tool that is worth a little more than money. In terms of strategy and decisions, he is not given a vote or even the right to know what his corporate sponsors have in mind.
Mr. Gander went home to his wife. He wasted no time recounting his experiences, including the seething resentment left in his mouth. “Maybe Javier's friend never really saw me more than a pawn, you know? Even the McCool man wouldn't tell me,” grumbled.
Feeling her husband was upset, Dana reassured him. “Javier was very good to us from the beginning, dear. Great salary for your directing work, great working conditions, and perks! He helped us talk to Dr. Be honest about your problem. We should be grateful.”
“In addition..” he added, “You are a director, not a businessman. Why should we interfere in business? Even if they spoil you and share all the details and their evil side, when things turn south in the future, would you rather be forced to do so?
carey?
He thought about it for a moment before agreeing. “Touch. You really have thought about this.”
He held his wife's hand, his eyes tracing her fingers and arms to her reddish, seductive cheeks. "Cute? Is it just me, or do you look different lately?” he wondered aloud, “You look.... very good! Like you just got younger! And more alert, like when you and I were together for the first time. What's going on?"
Her question made her panic, but a competent actress like her did not lack the skills to cover up her feelings and pretend. With the bashful attitude of a young lady, she punched her arm lightly, muttering, "I'm happy with your recovery, that's what happened ... And I hope it happens now!"
The director staggered back in realization before joy filled him. She hugged Dana tightly, dizzy from her own anticipation. “Just wait—after this demon curse is fixed, I will punish you very harshly, you naughty girl!” Javier had dinner with Chad that night before visiting his bar. Of course, the point is not to relax and let her hair down. They were there to see Edelgard Weiss. They meet at one of the VIP reservation rooms, where Edelgard signs her contract with Reivaj Media with Luca by her side.
His curiosity about the upcoming Osborn contest film was evident afterwards. Once he heard that Javier had finished writing the script and had hired Mr. Gander to direct the film, Edelgard expressed his surprise.
He only talked about it with her a few days ago! How fast did he act? He has set up his media company and made real progress, planning the film in this short period of time. Any other company will spend at least a month on the business side of the equation.
Javier is very fast and efficient. It's amazing how great he is.
The conversation continues to the plot. Edelgard started studying the script, and Javier gave her a basic overview before telling her, “The original plan was to make you the female lead. But the script went from a rough idea to a true story and into a story that focused mainly on the male lead, so you play the role of his daughter. Of course, based on what I know, princess is the center of the story and number two after the male lead.”
Edelgard waved nonchalantly. “It's okay. I wouldn't mind even if it was a cameo.”
Javier was relieved to hear that. The conversation continued until his eyes floated to the dance floor below. There, to his surprise, a familiar figure appeared in his line of sight.
