Chapter 97 The Purchase of a Pile of Trash

“I admire your sincerity and ambition.Alright then, you have got the deal! Fossil fuel company is yours!”

Javier's sudden approval made the excited Kaecilius jump in excitement, his eyes shining with joy. In fact, he was really happy that Zayn had promised to pay him 300 thousand dollars if he managed to get Javier to sell the business to him.

The handover was made that afternoon as well. Meanwhile, Zayn was only able to spend such a large amount of money because he had repeatedly given guarantees to Geoffrey.

Afterwards, Zayn gathered some staff from his finance department and rushed to the fossil fuel plant. Now that the handover is in progress, Zayn has no reason to hide the fact that he is the real buyer. Therefore, he immediately met Kaecilius.

"Ha huh! As expected of my friend! You really have helped me a lot, Kaecilius. Thank you!"

When Zayn saw Kaecilius, he immediately rushed over and hugged his best friend, his face filled with excitement.

Meanwhile, Javier jumped back in shock! “You're with him?! I didn't sell it! I don't care how much you offer, I won't sell my company to him!”

Zayn laughed satisfied. “You idiot. You have already started the handover. So, do you think you have any other choice now?

“Well, are you going to sell your fossil fuel factory or not? We won't pay you if you refuse!”

The more Javier gets angry, the happier Zayn is.

“You think you are who to try and challenge me? You are nothing but a piece of trash!

“All I have to do is shake my little pinky and I can make you squash like an insect!

“Do you know how many other entrepreneurs are willing to offer to acquire this fossil fuel factory of yours? 57 million dollars. However, you just sold it for 49.5 million, you idiot! Then again, I thank you for helping me make 7.5 million dollars without breaking a sweat! Hahaha, you idiot!”

Tasting the sweetness of finally taking revenge on Javier for humiliating him so many times in the past, Zayn started laughing madly.

Zayn proudly asked, “So, do you still want your 49.5 million dollars or not? Let's ask me for it then! ”

Javier angrily turned around and left. "You can refuse to pay for everything you want, but I will never beg you!"

Seeing the expression of absolute defeat on Javier's face, Zayn grew even happier.

However, Zayn did not dare to not pay at the end of the day. He was afraid Javier might have a set of photocopies of those documents from before ...

After instructing his finance department to pay the full 49.5 million dollars and completing the handover with the various departments in the Reivaj Group, Zayn eagerly went to meet Doug, humming happily as he left.

Meanwhile, Kaecilius followed behind and urged Zayn to pay him. “Do not forget my commission, Zayn!”

“Of course, I won't forget it! Come on now, have I really cheated my best friend's money? ”

Despite those beautiful words, Zayn was in no mood to think about Kaecilius' commission because he was in a hurry to meet Doug!

In fact, Zayn thought he would be able to pay 300 thousand dollars easily after he swapped the fossil fuel plant for 57 million dollars.

As he stood in front of Doug's hotel room, Zayn excitedly knocked on the door.

"Trs. Leigh, it's Zayn! Good news, I've helped you get fossil fuels..”.

The room door suddenly opened before Zayn finished speaking. However, instead of Doug, the janitor appears behind the door.

Zayn was a little confused when he came in and saw that his room had been cleaned and tidied up.” Where'd he go?"

The janitor replied, “Are you looking for a man who lived here before? He checked out. It was only half an hour ago actually. ”

Zayn was now panicking.'Didn't he say he wouldn't leave until he got the business?! Then why did he suddenly check out?!'

Zayn hastily pulls out his phone and calls Doug, wondering if Doug has just moved hotel for some reason.

“Halo, Mr. Leigh, this is Zayn Dunham. Where have you been?"

“You've left?! Didn't you say that you want to acquire a fossil fuel plant by any means?”

Zayn's legs gave up and he fell to the ground when he heard this. Oh, shite! Oh, shite! OH*T! Now I live with a fossil fuel plant in my hands…

Meanwhile, at the same hotel, Javier is having lunch with Doug in the most luxurious private room on the top floor.

Doug was talking to Zayn on the phone. "Trs. Dunham, please apologize to your friend on my behalf! I'm really not an untrustworthy person. But this is the latest information just announced by my company, so my hands are tied.”

Zayn panicked and broke out in cold sweat. “Wait, you can't do this to me, Mr Dowding! You really pushed me into a pile of shit! ”

Very surprised, Doug asked, “How do I push you into something? You told me that Javier was your best friend and former schoolmate and I just asked you to help me ask about this matter. I'm not asking you to get a fossil fuel plant on my behalf. So how is this my fault?

“Come, Mr. Dunham, you can't just walk away..Hello? Hello?!"

Doug put his phone on the side of the table. “She hung up. It seems like he won't talk to me anymore.”

Javier nodded his head. "Maybe he threw his phone and broke it into pieces."

After that, Javier raised his glass. "Thank you for the help. Come, spirit.”

Doug hurriedly raised his glass with both hands and stood up before clanking the glass with Javier, respect written all over his face.

"It is my pleasure to serve you, Mr. Kersey!"

Javier smiled and gestured for Doug to sit down, followed by a casual lunch and casual chat.

Of course, the Darton Group, the company that Doug worked for, was also a business under the name Kersey.

What's more, Doug is actually Chad's student. At the time, Doug was Chad's secretary. When he discovers Doug as an intelligent and hardworking person, Chad accepts him as his student and takes him under his wing. After a period of parenting, Doug is now in the world to get "direct experience".

Earlier, Javier had called Chad and expressed his intention to put on a big show. Coincidentally, the Darton Group was in a friendly business relationship with the Dunham Group at the time, so Chad arranged for Doug to help Javier.

So, it turned out that Javier was planning his own fossil fuel plant, which cost 37.5 million dollars, sold for 57 million dollars. That's all the arrangement.

For Javier, fossil fuel companies are like a tumor to remove. Moreover, there were certain circumstances that urged him to sell it in a short period of time as soon as possible. Otherwise, he would be in deep trouble.

While Javier and Doug are enjoying their time clanking glasses and eating in private rooms, Zayn sits limp in front of the hotel entrance with his shattered cell phone "corpse" beside him.

It was clear how much anger and sadness Zayn felt back then was based only on how devastated his phone was.

'I actually spent 57 million dollars on a fossil fuel plant worth 37.5 million dollars? Plus all the effort I have to make for this …'

When he recalled how he had even written down a detailed plan on that piece of paper, Zayn could only feel how stupid he was.

However, on second thought…

'I'm not stupid! I was just unlucky because of the change in policy!'

So, Zayn only thought that he lost by luck, and not because he had been deceived.

However, Geoffrey obviously thought differently! That night when he returned home from his business trip and found out what had happened, he instantly became so angry that his eyes flared!

“Didn't you convince me that this would be a sure win?!

“Aren't you asking me to wait for your surprise when I get home?!

“I gave you the luxury of being in charge for a day, and you ended up making me lose 12 million dollars?! Is this the so-called 'surprise' you are preparing to give me?!

“Let me ask you this, Zayn...Have I ever offended you in the past? not, right? So, why did you give me such a big pile of dirt?! 12 Million dollars is no small matter! How can you tell me that you ended up losing 12 million dollars just because of an accident ?! ”

Zayn ended up severely injured and battered that night.

“Hei, Zain! You better not forget the 300 thousand dollars you promised me!”
