The Hero
Chapter 116 The Family Willing In The Play

Somewhere north of the Pacific Ocean, near Navatte Bay, there is an island of about 200 thousand square meters: Lustmord. It has been purchased as a permanent residence for the current patriarch of the Kersey Family, Zephiel Kersey, for a long time.

'Zefiel.'

It sounds like an airy name, like a name that would give the wind blowing from the west. But anyone who knows Zephiel knows him more than just a puff of air—he's cunning like a fox. An old fox.

He was persistent in terms of his business conquests, and few people could match his prowess.

He sold weapons to many smaller countries, and his weapons made up the bulk of their arsenal.

He was not directly involved in politics, but several prominent political families in Sammius had close ties to him. It was also not an equal relationship, as he was the monetary backbone. They act as a political front fighting for power, while he provides enough funds to sustain the election campaign.

That's Zephiel Kersey. An elite. One of the few who rule the world.

He's also Javier's grandfather and the old man he calls "the cunning fox."

By the time the helicopter landed in Lustmord, there were already three people waiting there.

As Javier descends, he is greeted by Ciara wearing a floral beach dress. A gentle breeze blew onto her face before Ciara's delicate and beautiful body slid straight into her arms, the people who saw her cursed. He stuck out his neck and immediately went for a kiss on the cheek.

“Welcome home, Javy!”

“Come, Cici. Wyatt and Sig are watching us!” javier protest, pretend to frown.

"What do you think they're gonna do to you, huh?"

Ciara brought her fiery lips closer to her brother's ear and whispered, You?"

Javier speechless. This was not what he meant at all!

Not far away, William and Sigmund Kersey stood side by side, watching them. Thirty-year-old William grinned widely, his smile dashing and joyful. In contrast, thirteen-year-old Sigmund looked completely pouted. His skin was covered in tiger tattoos, making him look like a thug more than anything.

Right now, he was yawning with no interest.

Javier's approaching his cousin. However, before he could say anything, William had stretched his arms wide with delight and pulled him into a tight embrace. He hit Javier's back hard, as if the force used when punching one's back was equivalent to the depth of their bond. “Finally you're back, Jave!”

Javier countered his sentiments and strength. His strength was enough to make William cough for a while, as if his trachea had just dented a little. Still, she never lost her smile even as she stuttered, shining even more than the brightest flowers in the entire island.

"You're trying to kill me, Jave?" William complained, laughing.

Javier joined his own laughter. “Just avenged love, Wyatt. You've been hitting my back since I was a kid! ”

They both laughed out loud. Their boisterous excitement paints a deep picture of friendship, as if they were siblings rather than cousins.

Unfortunately, the mocking taunts grazed in the friendly air at the most inopportune time. "Truly seriously? You really laughed! You get kicked by a woman and you laugh out loud. Are you embarrassed enough to never come back? If I were you, I would plunge myself into the sea and become fish food. You're embarrassing the whole family, stupid!”

William scrunched his brows. “Ting! What's that all about? Shut your mouth.”

Ciara was very angry. He stretched out his legs, ready to charge forward and punish the offending mouth. He took a few steps before the sound of a loud slap hitting Sigmund's cheek could be heard.

"This is me doing what your mom and dad really need to do to you, boy!" furious William. "Before your naughty half-pint attitude turns into full-fledged megalomania!"

William's hand was ready to raise his face once more, but Javier quickly stopped him, arguing, “Come, Wyatt, that's enough. He was only a thirteen year old boy. Why argue with him, man? I mean, I'm not even offended.” -

Sigmund held onto his whipped cheek and turned around, while riding up to McLaren. The sound of engine frenzy and some shrill sounds were heard before the car drove away blurredly.

William was still boiling due to the attitude of the young man before. “Oath to God, Sig is acting more and more like a little bastard, and it's all thanks to his parents. They pampered him so much that he thought he could do whatever he wanted!”

Javier smiled and waved nonchalantly. “It's okay, Wyatt. Don't mind him, man. He's just a kid at the end of the day, right? As long as you're not the one who thinks I'm a clown, it's okay!”

William glared at her. "Excuse me? Do you know how close we are? We are closer than siblings, for God's sake!”

Javier nodded and hugged the man tightly once again. A short but lively chat later, William finally said, “Well, you should probably rest well. The long journey must have been exhausting, I'm sure. I have to ask myself to finish some personal things. It might take a few days, I think. Don'worry. I'll be back for your manhood transition. I wouldn't miss it for anything! ”

"Big! I won't arrest you, Wyatt. We'll buy a few beers when you get back. ”

William boarded the helicopter, which rose into the air as Javier looked down with a smile. Then, he patted his own shoulder at the same time as William did the same on the helicopter.

None of them found a speck of dust, yet they continued to clean themselves as if they could not bear a single particle from breathing into each other in their clothes. Ciara took a step closer towards him, pouting in annoyance. “Sigmund's mouth is so rotten! Serving it properly to get a punch on the cheek, even

although I personally think he should have hit, waaay is harder. ”

Javier's lips are slightly curved. She accompanied her sister to the USSV Rhino GX that she gave her last time. Thanks to his sister's aesthetic overhaul, it is now painted in brilliant pink.

As Ciara drives to their island residence, Javier lights up a cigarette from the comfortable passenger seat.“ Well, William has trained Sigmund very well all along. Just look at that bastard being slapped by his cousin like a good little boy number two. ”

Ciara was a little surprised. "Cannot be. I have spent so much time on this island watching them, yet I have never seen William and Sigmund show anything resembling courtesy to each other. William always taught Sigmund a lesson, you know? And then Sigmund will use his mischievous superpowers and bring it to his mother!”

Javier chuckles. "Oh yeah? Have you ever seen our aunt return to William?”

Cia thought for a moment. "Huh. Not really."

“Do you remember a time when you and I taught Sigmund a lesson so well? Remember how hysterical her mother was when she found out?”

“How can I forget that nightmare? Aunt Majorie lost her poop like a rabid tigress! She's-".

Ciara stopped in the middle of the sentence. When he spoke again, his tone turned sharply into disbelief. "Cannot be. The two were actually allies all this time ?! ” Instead of confirming his realization, Javier just laughed. "You know that cunning old fox always loved me so much!"

It sounds like a bad way to boast, but Ciara knows that there is no element of excitement in her tone.

The pink car, which was also decorated with flower petals, finally stopped in front of Javier and Ciara's house. However, waiting at the gate was the same McLaren.

Leaning to his bumper with a lit cigarette hanging in his mouth, Sigmund sees Javier as he gets off the car. There was a glint in his eyes—a glimmer of subtle provocation.
