Chapter 75 From Now on, Welcome Me As Chairman

There's no point in reporting Victor's cheating to the police. The fact that he had used such tactics meant he would be careful not to leave any evidence behind. In addition, she has a letter stating that Catherine voluntarily transferred the shares.

After sending Jade home to comfort Catherine, Javier sat by the side of the road, lit a cigarette, and pondered over her troubles. It's approaching a crisis. 

Victor initially held a 31% stake. After cheating Catherine by 13% today, she now holds 44% overall. If he managed to gain another 7%, he would gain absolute power.

And getting another 7% is not a challenge at all. He could gather that amount just by taking a little from each of the other four elders.

Seeing that they are pressed for time and the usual tactics will go to waste, Javier decides to stray from the real path. He pulled out his phone and dialed Herschel's number.

Thinking that he would eventually become the chairman tomorrow, Victor could not help the thrill of excitement flowing through him. When it was nine, he couldn't help but call Javier.

"Javier, that woman is naive. I don't want to negotiate with them. Today, I'll talk to you.

“I'm sure you know that I own 13% of Catherine's shares.

“You are a smart person. Get Jade for me and have her transfer the other 13% she has to me. I would send the mother and daughter couple some money every year after that. I promise that they will not starve!”

Javier didn't think Victor would call him. How rude is this guy?

He sneered, "Victor Dowding, aren't you ashamed?"

The old man roared triumphantly. "That's a word that doesn't exist in the dictionary of successful people."

Javier nods. "of course. Go ahead and have fun. I'll refresh your vocabulary. ”

"There's no way you can do that,"

Victor wasn't done when he heard the connection was cut off.

"Junk!" He stuck out his tongue and threw his phone on the table.

Victor did not put much hope into this tactic. It seemed that he would have to rely on his old friends to get the last 7% of the shares to solidify his rise to power. And they didn't disappoint. There is a sprinkle 2% and 1% of the transfer of shares later, he really has collected quite a lot.

When the shares held by Victor finally reached 51%, his winnings and awkwardness filled the entire office…

When Herschel met Javier, he gave the man a large envelope. "Trs. Kersey, I've done everything you've asked. ”

As Javier expected, Victor sent the memo just minutes past 10 a.m. The memo stated that he would hold a meeting. It was a step to show that he could already master!

In his office, Victor rejoiced over his victory. He wiped his desk and rubbed his chair, muttering to himself, “Goodbye partner! Now that I'm chairman, you all don't deserve me anymore. I'm moving to a new office!”

With 51% shares under him, Victor went to the relevant department and made the necessary arrangements at 8am. What could have stopped him from becoming chairman now? Not even a holy power could prevent this from happening!

“Jade, Matthew, just look. When I officially become chairman, I will fire you Odells!”

While Victor is enjoying himself in his office, his secretary comes in after knocking on the door.

"Vice GM Mr. Dowding, Mr. Ker-"

“GM Representatives? Welcome me as Dowding Chairman from now on!”

Victor corrects the incorrect address term of the secretary without letting the secretary finish his sentence.

"You are the chairman's secretary from now on. Don't make that mistake again!”

After warning the man, Victor said, “Say, you're lucky. I need hard work and careful planning to become chairman. I was quietly patient and strategized. Now, I finally succeeded but you were promoted to the position of chairman secretary without lifting a finger.

“People even refer to the king's dog as royalty. That's right, isn't it? You were promoted with me, dog! ”

Anyone would be angry when compared to a dog, but the secretary did not dare to show her displeasure and could only pamper Victor with a smile. He then cut to the chase. "Trs. Chief, Javier Kersey is here. He said that he wanted to talk to you about stocks. ”

“Ho, he just called me shamelessly and asked me to refresh my vocabulary last night. What was inside her that she came to beg me today?”

At the old man's behest, the secretary leaves and Javier appears in Victor's office shortly after with an envelope in hand. Victor grinned at the thick envelope the young man was holding.

"Javier, you didn't come here to hand over the Jade share transfer agreement to me, did you?"

Without wasting any time mocking Javier, he threw the envelope on the table and went behind the old man. He pushed the old man and his chair to the side.

Sitting in his swivel chair, Victor was confused. "No, wait. What are you doing, Javier?"

The man gave no explanation, instead turned on Victor's computer and entered his address. When the page loads, the video starts playing. It was a news clip from a local crime watch station. It was reported that a woman had fallen to her death while she was walking on the side of the road. When police arrived at the scene, the forensic team stated that the woman's cause of death was a severe injury to her internal organs. It is said that he was viciously attacked before his death.

News clips showed police filming the location and photos of the woman. Victor's eyes widen on the video and almost fall out of their sockets.
