The Hero
Chapter 405 Isn't That a Misunderstanding!

With Renna in her arms, Mikaela left the house she used to call home, her silhouette moving on the streets outside.

The air tonight was warm, yet he only felt an ice grave on his chest,

ten years of youth — all spent on the top shelf piece!

It was so annoying that he wondered if he should gouge out his eyes if he would live like a blind man!

As she boiled in anger, Renna suddenly muttered, “Bu? I hungry. I haven't eaten in a long time.”.

Mikaela flinched with her anger.

Too late, she realizes it's eight o'clock past a few minutes, and Renna hasn't eaten anything since lunch about seven or eight hours ago. She looked around to find her handbag, where her purse and phone were, so she could treat the girl to a meal at a nearby restaurant.

That's when he woke up. He had barged out of the door at the peak of his anger and forgot to bring his handbag and phone. He really had no money, and without his cell phone, he could not buy dinner for either of them.

He also could not beg to eat.

Being a thirty-year-old beggar to get free food was inappropriate for him. The alternative is to get help from his father, but Oliver may be about to explode

in an explosion of worry and anger. This possibility was enough to stop him from coming up with the idea.

His decision leads him to his friends, but quickly proves unworthy as he has not a single cent on him. The nearest one should be at least four or five kilometers away! It would be fine if he could call his friends and borrow money, but his phone was off, and he could not remember their numbers.

Renna suddenly muttered in a low tone, “Bu, I.Um, I am telling the truth. I am not playing or making fun of it. I'm really hungry.”

The girl misinterpreted her mother's inaction for the exam. She thinks Mikaela is trying to see if Renna just made a tantrum like last time, when she wanted to get Barbie.

Mikaela understood him and felt sadness in her heart.

The only person living nearby—and the only one whose address he knows—is Javier.

Mikaela recalls an accident that almost happened during the day, but her motherly impulse towards her daughter overcame the shame she could feel.

Strengthening himself, Mikaela leads Renna towards Javier's house.

The man himself was enjoying a bath at his father's place. The longer he stayed there, the more interesting it became, the more interesting it became,

Staying there comes with at least one advantage: She may have a chance to see her pop back. Javier wiped himself clean with a towel and came out of the bathroom in his birthday suit, After all he lives alone for now, so why bother covering his body parts for someone else? He was just about to light a cigarette when he heard a series of beats.

Who is possible at this hour?

Javier wouldn't dare think it was his father now. If he expected disappointment, he would never be disappointed.

Except he couldn't help but jump at the door. What if a miracle had happened? What if?!

He peeked through the spy hole and, anxiously, saw Mikaela and Renna. O God, how obedient is this woman to always be ready to serve her husband?

She came back to him just because her husband had told her—and worse, she had brought a talisman to prevent what had happened between them this time. He's brought Renna!

After gesturing for the woman to wait, Javier put on his clothes and opened the door.

It was the presence of the boy.

Had the child not been there, he would have opened the door without all this extra effort and treated Mikaela with a view that only the person who had the***** could do *****.

After escorting the two of them into the house, Javier beckoned them to sit down.

Looking timid, Mikaela started talking. "I don't think we're gonna be here long, sir. B-Can you please lend me 30 bucks or more? Renna..Uh, she hasn't had dinner yet.”.

Mikaela was even hard to get words out of her mouth. Imagine that! An adult woman in her thirties borrowed 30 dollars from someone!

However, he was unable to not ask. Her daughter is hungry now, but in a moment, she'll need a place to sleep—and Mikaela doesn't know where they're going to sleep tonight.

Javier freezing. He thought he was here for Donald's mission, but it turned out that he was here to borrow money. But 30 bucks?

Does he have to borrow it?

Something must have happened, huh?

That was enough to get him to speak on behalf of his mother. “Mom and dad divorced, and Mom forgot to bring her wallet and phone.”

Mikaela put her hand on the young girl's lips, but it was too late.

Truth revealed. Damnit. He should have kept it a secret from Renna.

Javier is very confused. "Is this true?" Mikaela nodded timidly, not knowing what else to answer.

He jumped to his feet and started wearing his shoes, his arm lifting Renna with a single swing before gesturing for Mikaela to move to the door and down. "Come, I'll buy you dinner!"

Mikaela was embarrassed. “Please, Mr Kersey, this is not necessary! Only 30 bucks we need. We can get something ourselves..”.

"okay!" she replied eloquently without slowing down while going down the stairs, Mikaela noticed him, feeling helpless, She just sucks now, right?

What else should she do other than follow her, regardless of her intentions, when she hugs her daughter?

He knew Javier was doing this on purpose, but he didn't have much of a choice. Closing the door behind him, he immediately followed. There's a Starbucks downstairs.

With Renna in his arms, Javier stepped straight inside. Mikaela quickly stopped him, protesting.

“God, no! This place is too expensive! We really don't need—”

“Renna was so hungry that I could see her belly dented, Mom. I can't believe your mother tried to stop you from filling your stomach! He's stingy, isn't he?”

Javier quipped, looking at the little girl in his arms, who was happily playing along with chirping, "Mommy is stingy, but you're the best!"

Mikaela fell silent. Despite all her love and attention, her precious girl had changed her tone and jumped off the ship with ease!

Javier and Renna break into Starbucks without a word, leaving Mikaela to say nothing but follow them. Once they were inside, Javier asked Renna if she had any particular desire, and the latter replied that she thought nothing of it.

Javier doesn't know what to get. He is not a fan of Starbucks food, which makes his ignorance completely different from Renna's plain ignorance.

"You recommended some food to us" he told the waiter. “Anything is fine. Money is not a problem as long as the child is satisfied.”

The waiter immediately gave them a list that Javier completely approved and approved without the slightest hesitation. When it came time for him to pay, the price of his meal was 95 dollars.

Renna's attention wanders to a nearby bouncy castle, and she runs towards him, leaving behind her mother and Javier.

Mikaela immediately pulled the last one.

He said nothing, but his actions spoke louder than words. He wants Javier to cancel all orders and replace them with just pizza or something simple.

“Ow, stop pulling! You will zip my pants down,” he replied eloquently.

"I know I know. I'm god***, and you're horny and wet for me! But we're not in the right place to enjoy it, okay? You have to hold it, baby. Maintain such delayed gratification, and I promise I will treat you well tonight. You will soon be in heaven!”

Mikaela's cheeks are flushed. "I what!? That's not what I mean!”

Javier nodded enthusiastically. "of course! Sure oes. You are too ashamed to admit it, so I will allow it. Whatever you say, baby!”

Mikaela was at a loss for words to respond. He had never seen anyone as shameless as this b*stard!

B* this stard is fun, he should add to himself, for trying his hardest, he can't really hate it, Javier isn't angry at all. Unlike Donald, the dirt-eating bastard who can't hold a candle against a speck of Javier's brilliance!

Moments later the food is finally served, Renna loses herself in the abandoned food. Mikaela had to tell him to be humble, because it was too late for dinner.

Javier shrugged his shoulders. “He's a kid, Mikki. Let him spoil himself. After all children will stop once they are full.”

He's spoiling her!

Mikaela rolled her eyes despite a ball of warmth that spread across her chest. Compared to the ba**ngan who was supposed to be Renna's real father, Javier is superior in every aspect of fatherhood!

However, there is one problem.

He lowered his voice to such a low tone that only Javier could hear and apologize.

“I'm really sorry, Mr. Kersey. I know how you feel about me, and I know you're an amazing guy, Bb-but I'm not romantically interested in you. I'm very, very, very sorry!”Oops Someone seems to misunderstand!
