Chapter 53 Making the Right Decision
On the way home, Javier questions Jade about her previous actions and why she calls him "honey."
Jade then explained, “You're the one who sent me an SMS saying that you're going to have a reunion with your old school friends here and will be home later tonight. That's why I came.
“I think reunions usually involve people criticizing each other. Also, I know that you are a man who prefers to be humble, so I'm sure you'll be the one being criticized. Considering how much you have helped me in the past, I thought I'd come and make you look good!
After saying that, Jade turned to look at Javier with a smile. “There's your gratitude!”
Feeling surprised, Javier chuckled and said, “Thank you.”

Javier thinks that this will end now that the reunion is over and no one will bother him anymore.
