Chapter 279 Glad to Be Rich
Alexis is really brash. Javier doesn't even know where he got his confidence from.
The tiger opposite him was walking with his men, clearly looking for a fight without a care for about 150 dollars. Javier also won't play well, thinking of conquering this scum first.
As they were about to make a move, Graham rushed forward to stop Tiger and his men and told Alexis, “What are you trying to do? You broke the rules by smoking and fighting in the workshop. That's enough to get you fired!”

Tiger is a typical thug who receives payment no matter who the target is. He would do anything for money - let alone, beat someone up.

Tiger was dissatisfied that being dragged around like a child, it felt embarrassing, but he did not care after hearing he would receive 1.5 thousand dollars. Money is more valuable than his ego!
After telling Javier his account number with glee, Tiger received a text notification on his phone within seconds. Without having to look at his phone, the grin on his face was clear he had received the money.
Javier called Graham and continued to screw him in the seat with an air wrench.
“Tiger, you accept payment. Remember to beat him up and hand him to me after that.”
Tiger is happy and yells generously, “Don't worry, buddy. I'll make sure not to kill him!”
Tiger, whom Alexis had brought in, now led his men to the latter.
Alexis was terrified. “No, wait, Tiger! What does this mean? You call whoever paid you mom?
Seeing that Tiger was really about to beat him up, Alexis stopped him in a panic. “No, don't hit me. I'll pay you too!”
Alexis felt more confident when stopping the thug with it. Now that he was not threatened, he became angry.

He now realizes that Alexis is trying to see who has more money with Javier. It was so fun. Tiger not only wants to benefit from one side—he wants to earn money from both sides. Anyone who has no money will end up being unlucky and beaten. He didn't give anything back.
Tiger was delighted to receive 3 thousand dollars from Alexis. He hasn't done anything yet, yet he's earned 4.5 grand - easy money!
Tiger happily led his men towards Javier who was working in the workshop.
“Hey, guys, stop working. He sent me 3 grand. You-"
Before Tiger finished his sentence, his phone rang with another text notification, and Javier told him, “15 thousand dollars. Hit him to a pulp and drag him towards me.”
Confused tiger. This guy must be bluffing. He's got 15 grand, and he's here to work?
However, when Tiger checked his phone, he was puzzled to see that he had received 15 thousand dollars. He gave a thumbs up after coming out of a daze. “K-No, brother, you are amazing!”
Tiger approached Alexis after that.
Alexis took a cold breath. What the fuck? He could still play together when it was thousands of dollars, but Javier had jacked it up to 15 thousand dollars outright. Alexis only has 80 grand. How did he survive the game?
He was still shocked by the 15 thousand dollars when Tiger approached him and gave him a loud slap.
“15 thousand dollars, big brother there pay me 15 thousand dollars. F*cking transfer money too. Pool, do you call it a series?"
Tiger slapped Alexis as he spoke and angered Alexis.
“Au–...” Alexis finally braced herself and shouted, “17 thousand dollars!”
He wanted to shout 15.1 thousand but could only grit his teeth and add two thousand dollars after thinking 100 dollars was not very generous. Even then, his heart was bleeding. He wouldn't put up a front today if he knew.
