Chapter 90 Dignity of Odell
Neve is not open about his situation with Zayn. But from what he saw Matthew understood everything clearly. A 5 million dollar diamond ring and anything about being prepared - ready to propose everything is a ruse made by Zayn to deceive him.
Often times, Matthew acts foolishly considering there is no chairman position he achieved. The truth really proves that he didn't make it.
