The Hero
Chapter 198 I Might Have Healing

Javier believes Mr. Gander is pretending. He should, right? How did he get drunk so fast? He lifted his cup into the air with the spirit of a Viking! Then, a few minutes later, he fell down on the table, seemingly knocked out so quickly that it felt like someone had sped things up.

Dana scratched the back of her head sadly. "Aaaaaa and he's out."

Javier surprised. "Wait what?!"

"It happens all the time when he drinks liquor in one hand and a friend with the same vibration next to him" he explained helplessly. Everyone calls him Three Strikes Out. The first two shots were meant to embarrass his partner, but if it didn't work out, he would have one more shot and-well, making himself heavily drunk.

“Don't believe me? Well, come here, young man. Look atyou. She's gonna throw up a champagne bath,” Dana added. He gestured to Javier to help him bring Mr. Gander went to the bathroom, where he could vomit to the fullest.

Javier is still a bit skeptical about it. Can one be hammered after three glasses alone, especially drunk like Mr Gander? The alcohol intake was not enough to make the old man sick! However, since that was what Dana said, she didn't have much reason not to help him.

With the woman positioned beside his head and Javier at the other end, they both raised Mr. Gander and took her to the bathroom. Dana hugged the older man while he knelt before the porcelain throne with his head bowed, like a criminal who regretted his stupidity. Javier almost laughed out loud

He took his eyes off the two of them and looked at the box of blue tablets on the floor. The text on it was written entirely in Hildegardan, and Javier was convinced that it had slipped out of Mr.'s pocket. Gander as he moves.

He began to wonder if the older man was covering up some sort of serious illness. Bowing, he picked it up and scanned the box.

Dana suddenly reached out and took the box from him before timidly burying it deep into his pocket. “This is, uh, just a special flu remedy. Old Gander had the flu, so he brought these pills home from abroad.”

Javier hummed in response and did not mind. He may not read the label thoroughly, but he has seen enough keywords to give him clues about the nature of the disease - keywords like "***" and "impotence".

It's easy to string these words together and find out how different this disease is from the common cold. Now, Dana's somewhat helpless confession before this made sense. There is more to a happy marriage than hospitality between two people. The two are best friends but less desirable partners.

Meanwhile, Mr. Gander's champagne party has begun. He had already started vomiting, spewing out bursts into the toilet bowl, his eyes and nose were watering and rushing about. Dana patted his back in sympathy, reprimanding him. “Gosh, you should be in control of yourself, okay? You have to take care of yourself.”

Standing still while gawking at this performance made Javier feel a little self-conscious, so he immediately took a cup of warm water for the older man to wash his mouth after vomiting. However, by the time he returned, Mr. Gander had fallen asleep with his hands hugging the toilet bowl.

Dana knelt beside him, with a tissue in hand, wiping the vomit remnants all over her face. There was not a single sign of disgust on his face.

And that, Javier believes, is the hallmark of a lucky man. She has managed to find herself a beautiful and caring wife with a touch of motherhood, and no one has ever said it was an easy thing. In fact, Dana Gander is more than just fun to see. There is a beautiful soul residing in his equally enchanting figure, and Javier must admit that time only makes his age like fine wine.

He's alluring. Pretty alluring, which is enough to light a fire inside Javier…

While this thought was beginning to form in her mind, Dana suddenly turned to her and asked for warm water, with full gratitude for the young man's considerate attitude. What a caring young man she knew that her husband would need water.

He insisted that Javier stay. And he did.

Besides Mr. Gander—who is still unconscious in his room—there is no one else in the house. The housekeeper has proposed

for today's holiday, that's why Dana has to take care of all the kitchen chores.

Their lunch ended with a useless small talk that just came out after a while. It is difficult for Dana and Javier to speak in a more relaxed environment after an awkward incident in the living room. Therefore, after some thought, Javier decided to come clean

“Don't be offended, but I'm afraid I can't help but be frank with you. You're so beautiful, Dana. You really caught my attention there, so I was distracted and I just. I acted on impulse. Sorry."

Dana didn't expect Javier to bring up the incident so frankly. His face flushed red, his cheeks turned bright pink, like a seventeen-year-old teenager.

One would think that a woman of her age should have long shown no such shame, yet strangely it happened to her. I really increased his already bewitching charm.

"This ... something from the past now, okay?" he muttered in a low tone. “I really hope you don't bring that up again.”

“Then, forgive me again, because there is, uh, something I want to talk about. Please, don't..Uh, don't get me wrong, okay? I tell you this in good faith, ”Javier replied carefully. “I... I think I might have a solution to this problem.”

Dana's confused, but she's willing to trust Javier. Therefore, he gestured for her to continue.

“I can read Hildegardan, Dana. I know what pill is.”

Dana's face dived sharply into the brightest red color. He looked as if his most intimate secret and taboo knowledge had been discovered. However, before he could give a proper answer, Javier stepped into the space and added, “See, I have relatives who suffer the same thing. He mostly harms himself. He had too many **** relationships that were harsh and abusive, so after a few operations, he was now. He can only do the bare minimum.

"But! Doctors tell us that if a man is born this way, then it can be cured.”

Dana immediately understood Javier. "That's innate!" he jumped up, following his advice. "That's not because she didn't hold it in her pants often when she was young!"

Shame followed him too late. This was where she was, letting something so personal and intimate slip in front of a man she had just met. However, part of her thought that this was important to her husband and herself. It was the same piece that now thickened his skin against this growing embarrassment. “She She's almost impotent since we dated. He can only hold on for a few minutes, aa-and that... Well, that included the time he spent taking off his own clothes...

“He's famous, you know? He was too recognizable to visit a local hospital for this, so all he could do was find a doctor abroad and believe in local alternative medicine. Of course, they didn't make it. All those visits and medicines were later, and he still could not continue. We had to ask someone to help us buy a pill in Hildegard that was just good for making it difficult for that purpose, but they didn't really cure the underlying problem, you know? I told him that he had to stop the pills, but he was unwilling to listen ...

"Even with those pills, he could only last for about four or five minutes," he muttered before suddenly whipping his face towards Javier. His eyes lit up in the hope that people might see their savior. “If you know a doctor who can help overcome his difficulties—whoever—please let me know. I would do anything instead, anything! I will accept any terms, any request!”
