The Hero
Chapter 144 We Moved the Floor Together

Edna slipped towards the office like a bullet fired, her speed causing one of her heels to be kicked in the dust. Unfortunately for him, even his arrival did not stop Javier from entering. In fact, he took this opportunity to anger her! Javier blinks his eyes disrespectfully, as if he is a .. teaser!

Edna was very angry. What kind of savage had he just met?! Really jerk!

The chairman will definitely fire him, right?

Javier's attention shifted from him to the chairman's office. There was another man in the room there—a stranger with a rather severe face whose left cheek was ravaged by a long scar. Terror seemed to flow out like poison.

In a striking comparison, Samuel Lambert looked like a gentle-voiced man. With a pair of gold-framed glasses on her nose, she really looked like a news anchor more than anything else.

As Javier kicks the door open, the stranger closes his custom laptop. Samuel also stood up and stared intently at Javier. “Who are you?”

Javier took out a cigarette and lit it. "A man told you to stop."

Samuel frowned. "What do you mean?"

“Literally what I said.

Whahuh? Has living abroad made Chinese impossible for you to understand?” Javier replied recklessly. He dragged the chair up close and sat down, glancing at the extremely embarrassed Edna.

He waved at her, ignoring her. “Don't worry, miss. You're welcome. I doubt Mr. Lambert will fire you for something like this.”

'Who are you saying? You're not even my boss, Edna thought.

True to his words, Samuel waved his hand, pointing towards the door.

Samuel waited for the secretary to leave before turning his attention back to Javier. "You who? Why are you here?"

Javier's not on a whim, so he's straight to the point. “I'm from Reivaj Group. The person you are currently targeting to be bullied.”

Samuel furrowed his brows. "Never heard of it."

Mirth's out of Javier. “That's for sure. You don't even know a single thing about management, so why do you know?”

So, this is a small company that is currently being bullied. Well, that's a relief for Samuel. He returned to his seat and told Javier, “I have nothing to say to you. If we've punched you, it's because you deserve it. Come and destroy me if you think you have what it takes remotely. You didn't? So just close your company and go home. I'm a busy person, so sorry, you won't let me drive you away.”

Samuel had decided to immediately expel him— without the slightest objection or friendship as well.

Javier, however, shows no signs of waking up. He flashed smoke and replied, sounding unaffected, “I really think you should reconsider attacking my company, Mr. Lambert. Otherwise, Sammy-Blue Inc. may soon find itself in trouble.”

Samuel could not stop the grin forming on his lips. "Are you threatening me?"

Javier nods. "You can think of it that way."

Samuel's grin widened with excitement. “Whoa, you admit it then! Aren't you an interesting person! You and your partner's band are just a small, insignificant company. What do you have to back up your threat? And you want me to stop attacking your company when you do! Someone's a little messed up in his head, isn't he?”

Javier crossed his legs while grinning. “Hey, now. I'm just gonna tell you the truth, man. To be honest, I don't have to come here and hug you at all. I just want to know who you are, so I came here to admire your terrible charm with your own eyes.”

Samuel waving. “Now after you have admired me enough, defeat. Be happy about this new knowledge - I know, I will surpass myself with joy if I know who will kick me out of the mortal world.”

Javier nodded and made the production contemplative. "Are you sure you won't stop interfering with my company?" She asked. “I'm sincere by warning you, you know. I was worried that you might end up coming to me and begging me to stop, but at that moment, it might not be easy for you to see me face to face again. ”

Samuel snorted and shook his head. “Yeah, I understand that you might be in shock because of all this, but you really lost your marbles, didn't you? May I suggest you see a doctor? Book Uber to the hospital or something.”

Javier threw away the cigarette butts and stood up. He looked dead in Samuel's eyes and said, "Just because you're rich, it doesn't mean you can do whatever you like."

Samuel shrugged his shoulders. “Sorry for this harsh reality, pal. Being rich means you can do whatever you like.”

Javier pursed his lips and put his hand in his pocket. Turning away from him, he replied, "Don't come looking for me in the future."

Javier sneered and stepped out of his office. He gestured to Chad, who immediately followed him on his way out.

As soon as the two of them reached the lobby downstairs, Chad complained softly. "I told you we shouldn't come."

Javier smiled without saying a word. Had it been about the company alone, yes, it would not have guaranteed this trip.

But that's not the real point. The real reason he came was because he wanted to see what kind of grasshopper he was dealing with - what sort of parasite could thrive in a seedy underworld and a society governed by law. Well, Javier was happy to see that it was a large-sized locust that would make a sharp fuss when he hit his boots and squeezed them flat.

Perfect.

They find a local hotel for the night, and the next morning, Javier and Chad return to their company by plane.

Standing in front of the entrance, Chad inevitably asks, “Now, what are we going to do, Mr Kersey?”

Javier gave her a smile. "The same as usual. You will only manage the company in the same way as usual. For the others, I have Miss Gould.”

Hearing about his intention to search for Miss Gould hints Chad about Javier's next move. "You have the funds ?!"

He immediately regretted asking such a meaningless question once those words came out of his mouth. “God, what did I say? If you ever run out of money, Mr. Kersey, everyone under the sun must have declared bankruptcy by then.” He quickly corrected himself with a sweet smile.

Javier smiles at her and steps into CFO Mary Jane's office. Dragging a chair to sit next to her, she said, “Aunt Mary Jane? Someone has been bullying us. ”

He's nodding. “Already know it.”

"What are we gonna do?"

“Our counter-attack has gone well. Only three months do we need to kill them.”

Javier shook his head. "Too slow. I want him to die sooner than that.”

Mary Jane turned away from her computer to look into Javier's eyes. "Then give me a billion dollars and I'll kill him in a month."

Javier shook his head again. “No, it's still too much time. Can't we speed it up?”

Mary Jane held out three fingers. “Three billion. He will be dead within a week.”

Javier jumped to shake his head in disapproval and immediately accepted his offer. "What about five billion?"

The old woman stiffened a little. Five billion dollars? Well, that's a sky-high price! One can hardly come up with a viable project to spend that kind of money on.

Javier may be a descendant of the Kersey Family, but even now, he has never officially accepted the role of head of their family business empire. Where would he get that kind of money?

However, Mary Jane knew enough of the young man to believe him. He stuck out three more fingers, this time answering, "He'll be dead in three days."

Javier didn't say anything. He simply pulled out his phone, activated a special system, and transferred some funds to a company account. When she finished, she announced to Mary Jane, “Deal. Ten billion dollars. Wipe the floor with his ass, Mom!”

She's flabbergasted. He wonders if Javier can muster five billion defeats, and he instead drops ten billion on him. He had been unable to amass such an enormous sum since the financial war had been waged against foreign objects.

This injection of funds, swelled to leviathan proportions, eventually evoked his long-dormant tendency for brutality and high sadism. "Good! I will mop the floor with that bastard so hard that the entire floor will be filled with his entrails and blood!”

Javier left his office with a satisfied laugh, his hand put in his pocket again. He thought of Samuel and his arrogance before the first one left his office.

'Being rich means you can do whatever you like.'

In that case, Javier will show him what it means to be truly wealthy and how to do anything.
