Chapter 84 The Wolf With its Mouth Gaped

When they returned to Jade's place, Matthew had just arrived and was parking his car. Under John's direction, Jade comes out and confronts Matthew alone first.

"Uncle, what do you want to do? Why did you spend the sales and assets of Odello Corp. and give them to the Dunham family?”

"Oh, do you really know? Well, I don't need to hide then.”

Matthew looked triumphant as he leaned against the door of his car.

“I did transfer the sales and assets but I did not give them to Dunhams. Not that they will accept no!

“Neve is with Zayn now, so he will be my son-in-law!

"Do you think the son-in-law will embezzle his father-in-law's property? He just helped me take over your sales and assets. They are finally mine. When the time comes, I will be the new chairman of Odello Corp!

“ One for you, Jade Odell. After all, you are just a fool. Just keep an eye on your company shell and wait for your death! ”

Anger flared within Jade as she saw the crazed Matthew waving his victory. Since the man would not be able to keep winning as long as John was in the car, he held back his anger.

“Uncle, you trust him too much. Zayn's not a good guy. She wasn't with my cousin because of true love. He's-"

"Enough!" Matthew waved, not wanting to hear what Jade said. "Uncle? Cousin? For whom do you care? Are you trying to care about me so I'll let you go? There will be no chance! You also don't have to talk badly about Zayn to me. I know what you're thinking!

"You were jealous when you found out Zayn was hanging out with Neve, so you wanted to ruin their relationship!

"Jade...Jade Odell...you're getting wild, ******!"

Jade wants to try to change Matthew's mind using a family approach for John, but the man not only refuses to repent, he considers the worst of him. It made the anger in him rise  .

John, who lives in the car, can no longer sit still. He opened the car door and stepped out.

Matthew turned his back to John and was still blabbering arrogantly when he was hit on the back of his head. He immediately got angry, "Who dares to hit ..."

As he turned around, before he could say "I", his eyes widened in disbelief.

"Dad?! Are you still alive?!"

“Do you wish I died so that you can destroy Odell for good?!”

Matthew was completely dumbfounded, not knowing how to answer John. He thought the old man had disappeared and was probably buried wherever he died. What the hell's been going on?

John finally shut his mouth hearing Matthew's emotional response. It was as if he now realized that this was the correct matter. After a moment of silence, he spoke, “Let's go in and talk. We're gonna have a family meeting."

Javier understood his words perfectly. He lives next to the car and smokes. Three generations of Odells—John, Matthew, and Jade—walk into the mansion. Javier isn't sure what they're talking about, but it looks like John has two things to deal with now  .

The first is to recover the transferred funds and sales as soon as possible and the second is to convince Matthew and convince him of his future.

Things have happened as Javier predicted.
