Chapter 428 Determined to Die

After Javier left, Luca did his best to persuade and advise Manny, but he was also sent off.

There were a few times Luca wanted to spill how powerful Javier really was, but there were things he could say and some he couldn't say.

If Javier wasn't good, Luca would never have deserved to know about Kerseys—even his father didn't deserve to know about it. It has become taboo that they have learned something they do not deserve. It would be an even greater recklessness if he were to reveal it today. If something happens and is sourced back to him, all the Pangani will be destroyed.

Therefore, Luca held back in the end despite the urge to say it many times.

After he left Manny's place, he went to Javier. "Trs. Kersey, boss, give me one last chance. He is my uncle after all. I may be too young and it is not important to give him advice. I'm gonna let my dad do it, okay? Please, Mr. Kersey. "Sure!" Javier grinned and saved his phone.

He has just published an assignment on the black market, awarding a hefty 3 million dollars to find out everything about Manny. It's not just limited to vaccine patents. He wants everything else, including illegal issues and bribes.

Finding evidence won't be quick, so Javier easily agrees to Luca's request. It would be best if the latter could get his father to persuade Manny. That way, he will help Pangani and can answer Suzanne.

His nickname "uncle" so pleased Luca's father that he could barely hold back his smile because he felt so flattered.

Luca is also happy, feeling like he can fly when called "brother",

It's a great honor for father and son that someone could be Javier's brother and someone could be his uncle!

At lunch, their topic of conversation inevitably led to Manny.

Luca's father obviously found out last night and was furious when he learned that Manny had rejected Luca's good advice and Javier's chance.
