Chapter 59 Let Me Tell You Some Good News

Matthew and Neve mistook the paper in Jade's hands as a notice from the board of directors that had been handed over to Jade this morning. For them, the fact that it was an A4 sized paper also left them unable to guess the contents.

Jade's reply, however, restrained their laughter for a moment. Surprised, Neve jumped in shock and said curiously, “No way. That is impossible..how dare I say it? This... resign, right?!”

Then, a deafening reprimand with greater intensity filled the room. It was loud enough that even the people outside Matthew's office could hear it.

Jade watched the two people who were giggling quietly. God knows which of them is crazier than the other. He stepped forward, closing the distance between himself and Matthew before handing the contract letter to his chest.

"Read yourself. Have your daughter use the dictionary if any words are too complicated for both of you,” grumbled. "Stupid."

He turned around and stormed out the door, too sick to deal with these two lunatics any longer.

Matthew's smile stiffened—something in the tone of the woman's voice made her more attractive. He quickly opened the paper and read the contents.

He freezes. He wished he hadn't seen her.

Feeling that something was wrong, Neve immediately asked him about it, but he received no answer. He had to remove the paper from his grasp and read it himself. By the time he finished, he was as agitated as he was.

A while passed before he finally recovered enough to say, “This is impossible. This is! not real! How did he get Sky Loft to write this deal? How's it?! Are they brain dead or what? They have their own sales agents! The whole company of them! Why might they need to outsource this to Drakon ?! ”

He had taken out words from his father's mouth, revealing his own confusion.

Their eyes met and they exchanged glances. They stared at each other, but no one could think of a reasonable reason. It's also not like a faked deal. The damn red company seal on paper is what it is. Imposing a company's stamp on any contract is wrong by law!

The two could not stop staring at each other. In the end, it was Nevelah who recovered first and broke the silence that enveloped them. “You think... This happened because Jade called Zayn and asked for his help? Maybe.this is Zayn's! Yeah, maybe right?”

Matthew nodded as hard as he could. This makes a lot of sense! Really, he could not provide a possible alternative explanation for this. At that moment, his phone started ringing. He put his hand in his pocket and took it out, his eyes catching Zayn's name on the screen.

Reluctantly, he answered her and snapped, “Serious, Mr. A dunham? What's the point of all our plans if you keep giving him a chance, huh? I've just built the most inescapable trap, and you have to play the hero before he's in real danger! To be honest, even if you want to play as a knight in armor, can't you wait any longer?”

Although he was still looking for an opportunity to become Jade's savior, he couldn't help himself from the accusation. "You ... What did you say before  ? When did I play a knight with shining armor?

Matthew was stunned by Zayn's reply. Judging from the way he spoke, Zayn was probably not involved at all. But if it happens…

What the hell is going on?!

Matthew was hardly given a chance to ponder this before Zayn's tongue lash out at his ears. “Damn, Matthew Odell! Are you really mentally retarded ?! What did I say? I told you to tie him with a rope. Push him into the abyss of despair so I can enter! You managed to do just that until he completed the task without a hitch! How are we supposed to.. Damn it, is your brain working, or is it just for show?! You fool!"

Zayn scolded Matthew so loudly that his words made the old man's face flushed red. Even so, he did not dare to speak up. He let Zayn babble, just because of him.

This was already the second phone he had destroyed.

"According to Zayn who is he?! I'm a fucking veteran here, not him! I have been struggling in business ever since he just hit****** in his parents stomach! Did he think that he could dump me just because he had become the chairman of the Dunham Group? F* ck! ”

Neve quickly tried to calm the old man's anger. “Dad, Dad! Listen out! We can argue about Zayn's character and all that, but now is not the time! Now, we need to focus on how to adjust these Jade achievements and make them our own. Think about this: What will the seniors think now that Jade has successfully signed this contract? he scolded. “The fact that he successfully fulfilled the quarterly agreement made that deal, can reconsider their opinion of him, remember?”

His strong argument managed to calm his father's anger. Taking a deep breath, Matthew held the anger in his chest. "All right, you're right. Our priority is to take that success away from him and make it look like our own achievement.”.

As the two of them begin their other plots, Jade has already returned to her car and recounts the entire ordeal to Javier in detail. He talked about how they had mocked him and how he had managed to turn him and become such a bad person.

“Now I think about it.maybe I should have stayed and seen their reaction.”.

His little complaint passed Javier, prompting him to smile wordlessly.

After enjoying her happiness for a moment, Jade suddenly said, “OK, so a strange thought suddenly popped into my head. I know this is kind of ridiculous but. I have to ask. The whole strangeness about Sky Loft's willingness to work together ... is that your result?

Javier nodded in disunderstanding. “Yes, it's me. I suddenly learned that Sky Loft actually belongs to my family. Even GM and the chairman were recruited by the Kersey family. It's a pretty weird coincidence, isn't it? I've just instructed some of my people to call them and tell them to help you unconditionally.

Javier is telling the truth, but in a non-serious mimicry, so Jade doesn't believe him in the least. “Yes God, Javier. You don't have to try hard to make something.”

The two return to their new offices, and Jade again tries to learn the ropes while Javier invites Herschel to smoke downstairs. As their small talk continued, the sound of car engines roared through the air before a bright yellow Ford Mustang entered their field of vision.

"She's beautiful. Engine 5.0 L 480 HP V 8? Sweet,” says Herschel.

Javier's attention, however, was directed at the woman who went down. The angelic face above the princess figure, complete with thick curly hair framing her face. She wore a tight t-shirt and had enough body to attract the attention of the person who was looking  .

The question in his mind was: What is Neve Odell doing here?

He thought for a moment and immediately got an idea. Leaning towards Herschel, he instructed him, "Go to Sky Loft and pass this message to Will Schumer ..."

As he sent Herschel, Neve stepped into Drakon Real Estate. He paid no heed to the secretary who wanted to inform Jade and went straight into the young lady's office.

Jade raised her eyes and met her. "especially now?"

Neve swept her hair back with a flick of her wrist. "I'm here to bring you good news" he announced. "From now on, I'm the GM representative of this company. My authority includes all things Sky Loft related!

“In other words, dear Miss Odell, from now on you do not have to bother with anything related to Sky Loft. I will be here to take charge and solve the problem! Isn't that great  ? You will be happy, surprised, and absolutely amazed!”
