What Javier said was pleasing to Oliver as he laughed with a big smile. It made Hayden's face fall down, and the man's bodyguards were sharp enough to rush towards him aggressively.
Before the bodyguard approached to question Javier, Herschel had thrown him at Alphard violently. A loud explosion later, the front of the car dented. Herschel clicked his tongue while smoking, "It's a pity, tch tch, it's bad!"
Looking at the bodyguard groaning on the ground, Herschel asked, “Hey, let me interview you. Why can't your car take a hit? Is it made of pure metal sheet?”
How could the bodyguard say anything else when he was too busy groaning in pain?
Herschel sneered and added a kick to knock the bodyguard down directly.
“Don't step forward if you can't afford it. We have dog head cutters that chop off any head. Want to try?” As Herschel directed an aggressive look at Hayden, the man gritted his teeth.
Hayden was furious but dared not say anything. He had only hired bodyguards after hearing that he had joined several martial arts fights before, but the man was trash, knocked down in one punch and fainted in the second blow. He's so useless.
However, without his bodyguards, Hayden did not dare to say much. When he passes Javier with his beautiful secretary, he shortcuts. "We'll see who's better at the auction!"
Javier doesn't even react to Hayden but instead is more interested in his secretary. Javier waved his hand and patted the secretary's butt as he passed by.
He widened his eyes. “Hm, good. It was full of pleasant feelings. It will be good with right hitting position!”
The secretary glared at Javier, but he looked very charming with it.
Hayden was upset about it and pulled his face.
After Hayden left panting heavily, Oliver looked ecstatic. He likes people like Javier.
He served justice but did not beat around the bush. The bad guys, of course, need the more evil ones to overcome! He wanted to know more about one thing.
“So this is a pleasant feeling, Javier?”
Javier chuckles, “Why? You like this too?
"Whatchu mean? I may have gray hair, but I am not yet 60 years old this year. The fortune teller said that I could have a son in his seventies. Doesn't that mean I'm energetic?”
“Haha, energetic, very energetic.” The old and young talk about the topics being judged as they walk to the auction hall.
The auction venue was not large, the room was ten meters by ten meters, and there were not many people following the auction, a total of eight parties.
It seemed that the seat was already set, and Hayden was richer, so he sat in the first row. The other two parties are said to be major hospitals in the state that are interested in setting foot here, but Javier is not so clear which hospital they are
lead-up.
They should go home empty handed. It was like no matter which country the enemy came from, one had to kill them all!
Despite this, Javier and Oliver's seats are still far from desirable. There were a total of three rows of seats, but both of them sat in the fourth row with two
stool.
Not because the organizers chose them. The auction company staff even came to apologize.
“We are very sorry. The auction was previously set to be held in the larger room next door, but the governing body suddenly held an auction with more items, so the room was used for a while. You were the last one to sign up, so..”
Javier's indifferent about it. "Did I get a paddle?"
The staff nodded quickly. "Yes, of course. You of course. This will be the last thing missing.”
Javier nods. “All is fine as long as I have paddles. Unlike me will sit long.”
The staff smiled bashfully, thinking that he was lucky to meet someone with a gentle temperament this time around, or else he would get in big trouble. Those who can bid for a hospital should at least become millionaires. None of them was someone he could afford to hurt with his monthly salary of only 600 dollars.
After the staff was gone Javier and Oliver sat on a wooden bench in the back and quite enjoyed themselves as they chatted. Oliver is also indifferent about it. Since the boss of the Reivaj Group didn't even care, it was good enough for a failed hospital director like him to get a seat to sit on.
Nevertheless, the satisfaction of the two drew Hayden's ridicule.
“I've only heard of athletes sitting on the bench in the past, but I think I learned something new today. There is also a time-out bench in the auction.”
The people in the room knew that Hayden was referring to the two men behind but could not help but turn around to check with a smile. It was not to mock them, but they could not help feeling superiority as they sat on the sofa, Javier asked Oliver curiously,
“I come from a poor village. I've never been to an auction before. Uh, Oliver, does the auction follow any order?
Oliver laughs. “You're a comedian, aren't you, Javier? The highest priced bidder will win the auction. It has nothing to do with your seat.”
Realization struck Javier. “Then why would someone fart with a sense of superiority? Did he forget to add the plugs before it came out?
The others in the room were amused, but Hayden glared. While sneering, his hand gripped the thigh of the beautiful secretary beside him while squeezing hard. It was his usual style to vent if he felt annoyed.
Being in this kind of situation, someone with his status could not argue with Javier, so he could only confide through his secretary. The secretary was crying out in pain from the pressure, but she did not dare to make a sound, feeling guilty.
Fortunately, this auctioneer appeared next, and Hayden released his grip.
The auctioneer conducted a brief self-introduction and stated that there were Internet videos as witnesses of the auction simultaneously. After reading out the rules of the auction and stating the asset status of the Sacred Virtue Hospital, as well as its surface area, the auctioneer asked again, “Do you not understand anything or anything else you want to ask?
“The initial offer is 800 thousand dollars, and each raise is 80 thousand dollars. If there is no objection from the floor, the auction will now.”.
It was just a casual question because rarely would anyone actually ask a question. The auctioneer didn't even set aside time for anyone to ask anything, but he didn't expect that there was actually someone asking the question — interrupted him to ask a question as well, on that day.
Javier, who was sitting at the very back, asked, “Is there a maximum limit to the increase?”
The auctioneer chuckled. “Good joke, Sir. How can there be a maximum limit in the auction? You'll be fine as long as it rises above 80 grand."
Javier nods. "I understand. We can start!"
It sounded like Javier was the superior of the auction company, and they could only start with his orders. Hayden sneered in the front row with a thick mockery coloring his gaze. The man asked about the maximum raise limit as if he was an important person driving a pitiful Chinese.
How much would it be worth if it was a car that people had to drive? He looked at Javier and was too insulting to even find out about his name.
When the auctioneer announced the start of the bidding, Hayden was ready to bid 320 thousand dollars to start. It was just that before he raised his paddle, there was a sound of bidding from far behind the room.
"8 million dollars." The whole room was confused.
