Harold's panicking. He felt fear controlling him. He knew that Javier was going to knock him out and he wasn't joking about it!
However, just as he was about to wail and beg, another voice spoke, "Isn't this too far away?"
Lloyd Young is not satisfied. He was overjoyed at the small progress he made in the business deal he negotiated tonight, but when he passed the junction earlier, his car was hit by a Bentley Bentayga. What's even more annoying is that no one drives a Bentayga.
The driver got down to check and said that the front window on the left side was smashed while their Rolls-Royce Phantom dented on the front and the side airbag had inflated. When the driver is about to get out of the car, he must also use the passenger side.
That's ridiculous. They were hit by a driverless car at night.
His driver then reported to him that two people were fighting in front. To be more precise, someone was being beaten, and that someone was Harold Dunn.
Lloyd knows who Harold is. The man is the missing son of a shipping company. His family was pretty good to do and they had gotten acquainted some time ago. Given that Harold had Bentayga, Lloyd immediately understood. Harold had been dragged out of his car and beaten up!
Given that his company has a stake with Harold's family, Lloyd gets out of his car and heads to where Harold is beaten up. As he got closer, he saw the person stepping on Harold acting brutally. The man had severed the tendon in Harold's arm, the speed of this attack was one that Lloyd could not stop even though he was in the special forces.
That was the reason why he frowned at the merciless abuser after he cut the tendon in Harold's arm.
"Isn't this too far?"
Javier turned to face the voice coming from behind him and asked, "You're trying to fight for justice?"
Lloyd tidied a few strands of hair down her forehead, making sure everything was neat. He then replied, “Not necessarily.”
Javier made an "oh" and thrust another gap into Harold's writhing left arm.
Even when Lloyd was ready, he still couldn't stop Javier in time. By the time he kicked Javier, the latter quickly turned around and used Harold as a shield.
Helpless, Lloyd could only pull his legs back and watch Javier slit the veins on Harold's right leg as well.
"You're a monster."
Javier nodded slightly at that comment. "Maybe. But I never received the threat of lying down. Like how he made some men finish me off right now, I was just satisfying his wish because this was his goal. ”
Lloyd took a deep breath and looked at Harold. “How many times have I told you not to fight? You're finally shooting yourself now. Does it taste good?”
Harold was wailing like his parents were dead. He wasn't in pain, his injuries weren't too painful, but he was afraid. He was afraid that he would be handicapped his entire life and would not be able to stand up again. He wailed, “Lloyd! Save me! Save me!"
If Lloyd is capable, he will. The problem here is that he is incapable. From Javier's attack and defense just now, he realized that Javier was faster than him.
He could understand Javier's intentions as well, so he replied, “He's just giving you a little lesson and trying to scare you. If he really wants to knock you out, he won't break your tendon. Tendons can be reattached. You'll be fine."
Javier knows that he has met someone who is intelligent, and this smart guy knows what he is doing. He realized that he could not bully with the man. In that case, he canceled his action and slit out Harold's remaining leg tendons without hesitation.
“Seeing your family status, you will be fine to be rehabilitated at home for three months.”
Throwing away the plastic shards, Javier took out a cigarette from his pocket.
As the smoke billowed, more than a dozen people walked out of the public restroom one by one, looking extremely miserable as their bones broke everywhere.
Javier replied, “What do you mean? Should I let them drop me instead? ”
Lloyd had no reasonable reason to fight. This was the fight that Harold had chosen and he had to accept the consequences. There is no other way. He even brought over ten people to beat up just one person. To be honest, Javier wouldn't be entirely guilty if he killed Harold.
It's just that Lloyd has met them and their family has a business partnership, so he can't just leave Harold on the road.
He told Javier, “Let Harold go. It stops here today.”
Javier had originally planned to just cut the tendon in Harold's limb but with that Lloyd said he was confused instead. “If I let it go like this, you won't get any benefit. You get a deal without having to pay any capital. Now, why would I let you do that? ”
Javier brandished a finger and chuckled. “Well, I can do that. Give me a penny and I'll release it right now.”
“You made this difficult for me. How can I give you a penny now? I don't even have a dollar,” Lloyd replied.
Javier flicked his cigarette ash into Harold's body. “Can't hold it then. He's only worth a penny to me. I don't want any extra”
Smoothing out his suit, Lloyd combed the wind-blown strands of hair to get his hair tidy and told Javier, “I don't have a penny. I have 15 bucks. Take it or leave it."
"If I don't want it?" ask Javier.
Lloyd replied, "Leave Medb before noon, or I'll make sure that all your business here on Medb will be closed."
His words made Javier raise his thumb. “Domination!”
With a one-word comment, Javier turned to leave. “I'll present this man to you. Let's just say it's a deposit for you that opens my window. Right, I just took over a bar. This guy knows where it is. Go and close it!"
The provocation was without a dominating statement or a harsh curse, but Lloyd still felt the weight of it. He will target Javier but the latter offers him a deposit for it. What is that if not provocation?
Seeing the indifferent Javier walking away, Lloyd stared at his back for some time before walking back to his car.
“Lloyd, he took over the Stone bar. Just went there tonight and took it over.”
Just went somewhere - which had two ordinary concepts but when put together, it was not unusual anymore - and took over just like that...
Lloyd could not help but turn to stare at Javier's backward back once more. The latter had just arrived here and had taken over the Stone bar. This roaming dragon was no ordinary dragon!
Returning to his car, Lloyd gestured for his driver to leave. Although the airbag has been deployed, it does not affect the driver's driving. The car just looks a little uglier, that's all.
On the way, Lloyd told his driver, "Send some people to get Stone to close the bar after noon tomorrow."
The driver pondered over it and asked, “Do you want to send someone to follow him? What if he leaves before noon?”
Lloyd's wave. “He will not. This is one brash dragon. He's already here. He can't go.”
The driver hummed in response and remained silent.
Lloyd turned to the side and looked at the face reflected in the car window. The face had the corner of his mouth raised into a small grin. It was the face of bold spirit among the younger generation in Medb-Lloyd Young!
