Chapter 427 Don't Make Sense With Me

Lying in a large hotel bed, Javier ponders the issue with Suzanne's medical research.

She felt that it might not be Suzanne who was reluctant to leave. Most likely a consortium that might not let them go.

Anyone who has a chicken nest that can lay golden eggs will make sure to have a secure leash as they are a source of profit.

That's why Javier thinks that taking care of Manny is the least of all problems. The real problem was still waiting for him.

Nonetheless, he had to finish it step by step now. The first step to getting started was to make Suzanne aware of her abilities and willing to lead the team back into the country with her.

However, to achieve this, he still has to take care of Manny first.

Next morning…

Javier had just finished his breakfast when Luca, who was on the phone with Herschel and knew his address, rushed over here. Looking at Luca's red eyes, Javier knew that the man must have not slept well yesterday - he might not even have slept.

As expected, Luca told him, “Master. Kersey, I've checked it out. My uncle took the vaccine from a student named Suzanne Quinn nine years ago.”

Javier thinks she is a housekeeper, but Luca calls her "auntie" politely. It seemed that Manny had arrived at the peak of his life. He was in his sixties with a wife

in his thirties.

Status, wealth, and a young wife have fulfilled all the classic requirements of a good life. He has it all a big house, a beautiful wife, and a hospital director. He really is at the top of his life.

Samantha knew about the Easton Group belonging to the Luca family, so she welcomed her nephew warmly. While inviting Luca in, he also smiled kindly at Javier as he looked at him.

When they entered the living room, they saw Manny was reading a newspaper on the sofa, and it was not related to medical but entertainment. That's catchy.

After Manny scolded Luca, he looked at Javier. “You're Luca's boss? I don't care who you are and how capable you are, but we all walk in this world with a sense of morality and justice. I don't know who you are and why you slandered me, but I walk and speak with integrity. I'm not afraid of anyone!”

Facing Manny, who was truly excited by the sense of justice emanating from him, Javier nodded in agreement, "You're a very good actor."

Manny growled and asked angrily, “What do you mean? You mean I'm acting? This doesn't make any sense! I, Manny Poupe, have been honored all my life. Never once have I taken a questionable shortcut. You claim that I have taken the results of someone else's research. Sure, show me the proof!

“Where's your evidence? You don't have it? How dare you make such a claim if you have no proof? I can sue you in court over this!”.

Javier asked, “Do you not know if you have taken the results of someone else's research as yours?”

Manny gritted his teeth and slammed his palm onto the table. "How dare you !?"

He then shouted at Luca, "Luca, it's still early in the morning, and you should bring someone like this here and disgust your uncle, right?"

Luca felt helpless. If he didn't know how Manny got this house, he would definitely trust the older man. It's not important now, though. The important thing is Manny has to admit his mistake as soon as possible. “Uncle, I sincerely did this for your sake. Our boss.is not someone you can hurt. Admit your mistake!”

Luca is really considering Manny. He has been to Javier's house, experienced a rocket dropping fireworks, seen a fancy private jet, and even met the blond president Sammius on Zephiel's porch.

Think about it. How strong would Kerseys be if the blond president had to visit in person?

Luca is really a good niece, doing her best to protect her uncle. Manny clearly disagreed.

“He's influential, huh? Its alright. I know a lot of authoritative figures as well. Want to act unreasonable here with me? He can save her!”.

Luca wants to talk more, but his aunt, Samantha, comes over. "Luca, you're wrong this time. Don't you know what your uncle looks like? It is so disrespectful to your Uncle and even insulting to his character that you doubt him just because you heard the dog barking!

“Ask him to leave now. We do not welcome people like this!”

Javier shrugged and patted Luca on the shoulder before he got up leaving Manny's house.

Since the man had to knock on the door of hell, prying it open when the door was not answered, there was no way to stop him from sending himself to his end.
